We spent the first part of our honeymoon on Bonaire and were immediatly smitten with the Boon House. We couldn't have hoped for a more relaxed place and we were so lucky that the other house guests were so nice too. Anique and Lesley were supernice and made our stay were comfortable with their nice breakfast, their fantastic BBQ and their tips for restaurants and beaches. We are already saving up for our flight to go back next year. Best wishes from Vienna, Barbara & Michael

The Boon House is a fabulous villa well located on the island of Bonaire (a short 10-minute drive from downtown and 5 minutes from the airport). The design is fantastic, the rooms very comfortable (with big and modern bathrooms) and the garden offers a splendid pool. Lesley was a fantastic host from the first to the last minute: she made us feel at home, organized everything for us (from activities to dinner reservations), prepared scrumptious breakfasts, had thoughtful answers to all our questions and provided great suggestions to discover the richness of the island. In other words, she literally transformed our stay in Bonaire by her kindness and professionalism. Last but not least, the concept of a shared villa with the level of service of a B&B is magnified by the open space design of the house. It offers both privacy and a sense of community with other guests. We hope that the Boon House will remain accessible in the future for other travelers who wish to live a unique experience.

We stayed in 'b&b the boonhouse' in March 2016 Just after it had opened its doors .. One word "wow" ... The beautifull Boon architecture, the wonderfull hosts Lesley and Anique, who make a delicious breakfast each morning and cook an in house dinner at your request, made us feel so welcome that we decided we had to come back as soon as possible. Our stay here in June was once again exellent. We could hardly believe the price was correct. We know of no other place that offers this level of luxury for such an affordable pricing. What could have been better this stay? Nothing : )

I travel a lot for business, so i'm really spoiled, often staying at 5* hotels. But this place is outstanding, absolutely perfect and recommended !!! The Boon House really convinced me as THE perfect place to stay. The website description and the pictures are real and give a good first impression of the luxury of the house and the facilities. It's not just the elegant and very stylish but functional design. It are the small details that makes a stay different and unique; and memorable. Great value for money too. The ladies that run the place are extremely professional and helpfull with local tips, flexible with timing, a well balanced and tasty healthy breakfast with every day another surprise, to avoid that it gets routine after a few days and becomes boring. Simply too much to list everything that makes this place so unique, comparable with a 5 star boutique hotel. In a nutshell, a special place I absolutely can recommend, and where we definitely will return. I hope soon. bu

The Boon House is a lovely place. We had the most relaxing stay. Leslie and Anique took great care of us and were very well informed about the things to do on Bonaire. We especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts with a different freshly made smoothie each day, fresh fruit, nice rolls, eggs, veggies, homemade granola, ... Rooms are spacious and beautiful, the garden and pool area has lots of places to relax. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and eating on the comfy terrasse as well as trying Bonaire's restaurants.

My trip to Bonaire was not planned, however all it took was a email newsletter notifying me of the opening of a "Pop Up - Dutch Designer B&B on a quiet Dutch Caribbean island" and I was sold. OK so Bonaire is not the easiest destination to fly to, however, now that I have been I can tell you that the Boon House made the trek and expense worth it. The Boon House is a beautiful 8 room property run by two very lovely Dutch ladies (both very good chefs you should know) that is located 5 minutes from the airport in a nice part of the island that is quiet, upscale yet still has that undeveloped charm (roads are not paved, no traffic lights, no street advertising, etc...). The 3 houses share nice pools, kitchens and other relaxing and well landscaped communal spaces that make sure you relax from the minute you arrive. The spacious guest rooms are minimalist (but you shouldn't pack much for Bonaire in any case) however they boast comfortable beds, mosquito nets and large bathrooms stocked with awesome German toiletries. Leisurely and large breakfasts are included to make sure you are ready to explore the island. It's important to note that the villas that make up Boon House are normally used for longer term vacation rentals for the luxury set ($9000 per week) that are now available for anyone for a very reasonable nightly rate including breakfast. Given the high cost of the island, Boon House is an awesome deal that is sure to book up once word is out. Blue seas, empty beaches, sunny skies and Dutch design villas - What are you waiting for? GO! Do it soon however as currently they are set to close in September. You won't regret it.
