My friends and I stayed at the guest house as part of a surfing package. Included in our package was shuttle from and to airport, two hour surfing lessons each day, breakfast and lunch (up to a certain amount per meal), and two bedroom apartment that slept six comfortably. Upon exiting airport, David (our taxi driver) was promptly waiting for us. It is maybe a 20 minute commute to Zed's property. David was very friendly, and we used his taxi again later in our trip. Gulia welcomed us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of property, and tour of our accommodations. Our apartment was two conjoined one bedroom apartments with one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and patio in each. They slept the five of us quite comfortably. The view was beautiful! The apartments were clean, spacious, included all linens and beach towels. We didn't use the A/C as the apartments were naturally cool and comfortable for sleeping althouth there was A/C in both sections. There were outdoor clotheslines for drying our bathing suits. We had patio chairs and a hammock to use just for us. Just outside our apartments were several lounging chairs for suntanning too. The beach is sandy with some rocks. Waves are large to swim there but more experienced surfers are able to surf there (we were more beginners). There is a lovely swimming spot were the waves are much smaller and suitable for young children. Views are spectacular! The cafe at Zed's is lovely! There are about 5-6 breakfast and lunch choices that stayed consistent for our trip. Between my friends and I we tried all options and were happy with portion sizes and selections. I am dairy free and Lisa accommodated my needs easily. The cafe staff are the sweetest ladies! So hard working and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. There are lots of drink options as well (beer, local juices, coffee, tea, sodas, etc). Claudia, Zed's wife, is the sweetest! She is very friendly and attentive to our needs. She is lovely! I am planning on coming back with my family as this is a perfect place for families! All staff is so friendly and lovely! We had the surf instructors Junior, Paul, and Andre who were prompt, attentive, and patient in our lessons! We took our lessons at Freight's beach because we were beginners, about a ten minute drive, which was all included in our package. At the end of our trip, it is customary to tip surf instructors and cafe staff. They all went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip!! Thank you so much!!!

This place is definitely the place where you want to be when in Barbados! It's not just a place but more an experience: it was like being home even if was my first time on this beautiful island. The area is nice, quiet and safe and the apartments are beautiful, clean and with everything you could wish for plus an amazing view over the ocean! People working there are the most friendly and kind staffs I've ever met and they made my stay at Surfer's Point even more perfect. It's great for family, solo travelers and couples of all ages. Also their surf school is the best on the island and learning to surf was a plus of this amazing holiday! Highly recommended!

We have just returned home after a 15 day stay at Surfer's Point Guest House. Everything about our stay, met and exceeded our expectations. The rooms, the grounds, and the sea are exactly as presented on the web-site. Better!!! actually!!, our room was a dozen steps to the water's edge...absolutely Beautiful!!! Each morning while enjoying coffee, I sat and observed turtles bobbing in the waves... I counted over 20 sightings each morning for the first three days:)....after that...I stopped counting..:)....Our studio apartment was stocked with all that we needed. The refrigerator was large, with a proper freezer....very nice!! Claudia has an Excellent Team ensuring every aspect of our stay was joyful. Everyone was helpful and kind. This is truly a special place...and we are already planning our return trip.

We loved it here, so beautiful and comfortable, with great people and excellent service. And the FOOD, delicious!! Gabby is an excellent chef, and we wound up eating most of our meals here. They served lunch every day (I had the fish sandwich nearly everyday - yum) and dinner on two nights, local Wednesday with local food, and fancy Friday which was a gourmet meal. Both were outsanding, you can tell Gabby really puts a lot of care into her meals. As far as the guesthouse, the views were amazing, you're right on the beach, and there is plenty of space to go on long walks along the beach. Maurizio could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and Claudia is an absolute gem. Great people staying here also, nice, interesting, and laid back. We took surf lessons which were great also, especially with Junior! We loved everything about this place, and we'll definitely be back!

We are officially repeat guests, we love the vibe, the people, the other guests, the other repeat guests LOL. The small number of rooms gives it a safe homey feel. We love Big Almond, roomy giant kitchen area and an incredible view of the ocean from the porch. Combine that with the food, the waves, and the peacefulness and it becomes a perfect spot for the semi-intrepid traveler. Zeds can seem like it's off the beaten path at first blush, but it is actually not too far from the sights and go-to spots. It is, best suited to those who are ok with a self drive car or taking some form of transport to get around. There are the small local buses almost to the door, just a block away, and taxis are always available. The rooms are kept really well by Kitrina and her crew. The food is better than ever with Gaby and Tori making fresh meals everyday. It all comes together. As well as surfing lessons, Zed also does fishing charters so there is often a chance of a really fresh catch getting put into the menu. We appreciate the whole package that is this little oasis of chill on the South Coast of this beautiful island. The only way anyone could be disappointed is if they did not read up on the place first and arrived expecting a pool and a disco.
