We just got back from a week in Barbados. We stayed at the Radisson Aquatica Resort, and it was worth the money. Beach there is clean, clear, calm and wonderful. There are only a few restaurants near that you can walk to. In case you didn't know, the south west coast has a major ongoing sewage problem, which is a show stopper for that entire area. Also leave at least 4 hours early before your flight leaves the island, as the airport is completely overwhelmed.
