Terrible service. Housekeeping did not provide towels, air conditioning did not work, hot water was broken. Pool was dirty. Beach area was dirty and no towels were provided. Piles of beer bottles were along the pool

Hotel's Favorite
We are currently staying here at The Raddison Aquatica Hotel (14 Nights). Our second time around, we stayed here at the same time last year. We've been coming to the Caribbean for many years and we must say this is our favourite hotel. All of the staff are the most friendliest, polite, bubbly and helpful you could ask for. Sophia, Jemina, Shane (Front Desk), Odessa, Kimberley, Fabian, Rodney, Sherry Ann and Margaret our favourite breakfast egg chef :) (Apologies if any of the spellings are incorrect or we've missed out names). As per some of the reviews on this site, yes the decor is a little dated however who comes to a hotel to look at the decor. The positives of this hotel far outweigh the negatives. All the food served here is fantastic, sufficient portions and served piping hot, plenty of variety with a mixture of speciality evening dinners. Yes, the meals can take longer to be served however the food is cooked from fresh and after all this isn't a fast food restaurant i.e not McDonald's, you're also on holiday - what's the rush, chill and soak up the atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner are served on the pier going into the ocean, just an amazing setting! Every where is clean, the rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day, free tea/bottled water/milk. The beds are so comfortable. On arrival our room safe was playing up but after 1 phone call to reception the engineer was with us in literally 5 minutes and all rectified within minutes, what service ! Thank you. The hotel is fantastically located on Carlisle Bay, just an amazing clean sandy beach and the calmest ocean to swim in. Don't be put off by any of the negative reviews, why would we return for a second visit ?? Exactly. Looking forward to our remaining 5 days. Highly recommend, enjoy !! This hotel needs some renovations but its location and the welcoming warm staff makes it a 5*experience at a lower cost. than most other hotels on the island.I would definitely go back. The daily buffet breakfast with that breathtaking makes you want to go back every morning. Just hop on a ZR which is a few minutes walk and go anywhere you want along the west coast either for shopping in Bridgetown or to Oistin for fish fry. I recommend "Champers" and "Cafe Lunar" for fine dinning at its best.

My family and I stayed in the Aquatica for a week at the end of February and I could not fault it. This hotel is perfectly located on the most beautiful beach. Every morning you get a great view of the local race horses in the sea and the pool, though small is adequate. I will say if you want a resort this is not the place for you. The restaurant is brilliant. Brekfast is a buffet with a delicious variety of foods, some local and then your average European/ American favourites. If you want something more specific you can also order your food to he brought to your table. Dinner is also delicious with a range of food from the grill or a variety of dishes to choose from. I'm a fussy eater with many allergens and I found it easy to eat here. The waitresses and waiters are all so friendly and helpful. The location could be better in relation to being closer to the main town but in 20 minutes you can walk in and for less you can catch a regular bus. Overall, I really enjoyed my trip to Barbados and this hotel was part of the reason. I hadn't expected to enjoy it as much but the friendly nature of everyone from the concierge, to the wait staff and the cleaners was just so nice. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We will be back.

Our first visit to Barbados and what a way to arrive to the island! Perfect weather, wonderful people and a lovely hotel! Food was very tasty! Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Upgraded to a king room on the top floor with the most amazing views. Got up at 6am to walk out to the beach (literally on the doorstep) to have coffee and watch the racehorses taking a swim. Stunning! Highly recommend 🤍

Tired property in need of refurbishment Poor quality food and overpriced. Same with beer - small bottle costs almost $6 and it is not even chiller properly - hardly anyone uses the restaurant and i got my cold beers from the pertol stations on the main road (5 minutes walk). Sadly not much around so need a bus to go furhter down the shore Will not go there again

Location is great, rooms were clean however the shower had some water pressure issues. This property offers limited dining options and is an aging building. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to some local food huts and all of Carlisle Bay.

A friend of mine from Canada, arrived last Friday 24th to check in around 3pm, he booked and paid online and the person at the counter has told him that they had over booking and unfortunately they can not give him a room, leaving him on the street, first time in Barbados, this is unacceptable, rude and lack of professionalism and seriousness, I am still in shock that a prestigious hotel like the Radisson treated guest the way they did. Very Disappointed. Can't trust this Hotel. Friend of the Guest

Lovely location rooms are very tatty and need updating Aircon not working despite reporting is it leaked all over the floor and is never fixed. There were never enough sun loungers, oh beach, towels, and lots of guess just had to do without. Restaurant was very overpriced and average. A bear the cost $10 and just around the corner and everywhere else is $5. Very disappointed and certainly would not recommend it to anybody.
