My wife and I visited this hotel for a friend's birthday. The staff greeted us will cool cloths and rum punch. It is conveniently located a few steps across from the beach. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodated all we needed during our stay. We are especially thankful for Kim, Jamilia and Tiara. They are the best and so very kind. Thank you for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Our 2nd trip to this hotel. Location is excellent being opposite Rockley Beach. Close to a wide range of shops and restaurants . Regular bus and van route to Bridgetown and Oustins. Can recommend rooms too. Spacious with small kitchen. Lovely shower and lounge. Can’t fault it

Probably the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Right from the moment we checked in we felt like we were part of the place. You can’t walk through reception without being greeted by the staff, and nothing is too much trouble to them. When we mentioned on our last day that the transfer company were yet to give us a pick up time, the words had barely left my mouth and Troy was on the phone to them sorting it out for me. Everyone from the lovely ladies in the breakfast room, to the incredibly efficient and always smiling cleaning staff, seem to take the greatest pride in ensuring that you are having a great time. And we did. Talking to other guests, it was obvious we weren’t alone, and many of them were regular visitors to The South Beach. It’s very easy to see why. Apart from the amazing staff, the rooms are large and very well appointed. We had a fully equipped kitchenette in our junior suite, with a spacious balcony overlooking the beach. The free wifi was strong everywhere throughout the hotel, even by the pool, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The reception staff are a great resource for advice on getting around, and tips on where to go, and the location is fabulous - right beside a beach that was straight out of a picture postcard, and within a two minute walk from the boardwalk, where there were a selection of excellent restaurants and beach bars. There’s a well equipped mini-supermarket right next door, and bus stops right outside can take you to Bridgetown, St Lawrence Gap or Oistins in just a few minutes. All in all, a perfect place to stay and to see this beautiful island. …

First time in Barbados and couldn’t of asked for a better hotel.nothing is to much trouble for the very friendly management and staff.it’s right in the middle of the best dinning on the island and Rockley beach just over the road stayed 14 nights and loved every minute

A great hotel in an ideal location, easy to walk to lots of nearby restaurants. Lovely clean rooms with a kitchen, great for cooking if you want to but we always eat out. Views of the swimming pool and you can see the sea too. Good buffet breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Our stay from start to finish was amazing at South Beach. The staff were welcoming and were always polite and on hand to help. The room was exceptional, a huge suite with separate bedroom and a kitchen area. It was always clean as with the whole of the hotel. The pool area was relaxing and perfect for us. The food was great and the rum punch was always flowing. In terms of location it is close to the beach, local shops, restaurants and taxis across the road. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at South Beach Barbados. We will definitely be returning.

Superb hotel.Staff extremely pleasant, polite,friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms kept very clean and tidy with a nice large shower. Pool and bar area also very pleasant and clean. Great location and only 100m from the beach and shopping with restaurants and snack bars also nearby. Fully recommended.

The hotel was fabulous, handy for the beach with lots of local restaurants We were given a ground floor room beach facing and it had a patio straight out to the pool Breakfast was excellent with fresh omelettes and eggs cooked any way, cereal, pastries and toast . I would definitely return to this hotel
