Palm Garden Hotel is a tranquil and cozy (23) twenty-three room property ideally located off the busy street of Worthing Main Road, Christ Church. Although peaceful, we are just a mere (5) few steps away from an array of restaurants and bars, supermarkets, banks, casino and shopping facilities such as Barbados' entertainment capital St Lawrence Gap and the popular Worthing Square both within a short walking distance. Our signature gardens are breathtaking and our local monkey and birds can been seen amongst our lush green flora and fauna.

This is the first time staying in the south prior to that we always stayed on the west coast, palm garden is in a great location away from the road and so you can’t hear the traffic like you can when on the west, there are also no cockerels waking you up either, and the beds the the comfiest I’ve stayed in so gets a 10 for sleep !
We had lots of interaction with staff and all positive the manager is lovely, Carmelita, cleaning staff and any issues were sorted out. Yes breakfast is slow but it’s lovely my son had waffles / pancakes/ scrambled egg etc and fresh juice. If you don’t want to wait the gap and rockley is a 5 -10 min walk and lots of buses to pick you up, we hired a car so out every day. The pool is great to chill in the morning and I saw it being maintained while I was here. You get what you pay for, I’ve travelled a lot around the world and this place allows you to travel on a budget, I was nervous due to the bad reviews but I need not have worried. There are so many places to eat and drink locally Worthing square is nice around the corner. The gardens are well kept and gardener does a good job. They carry out maintenance in the rooms
I saw them painting and rooms are always clean on return after the day. For the money paid I would stay again 👍

I can’t even put into words how amazing our stay has been.
I don’t normally leave reviews until we are home, but after spending a week here already and with 3 more days left I felt compelled to write this review already.
We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and from the moment we arrived until I write this review everything has been exceptional.
The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!!! As I’m sure we can agree a good bed makes or breaks a holiday and I would happily take this bed home.
The staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Natasha especially has really left a lasting impression with both my children and us. Nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way every day despite working extremely long hours to speak to us and make our day that little more special.
The included breakfast is delicious and the chef has even used soya milk to make my son pancakes as he is allergic to dairy which has really made his holiday.
The facilities, pool and location are spot on, and to be honest there isn’t anything at all that I would change.
Thank you from us all for such an amazing stay and we can’t wait to come back very soon.

Basic budget hotel within easy walking distance to the Gap, beach boardwalk, restaurants, stores and bars. Clean rooms with a mini fridge, toaster oven, coffee pot, and loads of long term international guests that return each year. Small pool and garden area for relaxing. Friendly and accommodating staff at the pool bar/restaurant and the cheapest beer prices we found. The AC unit worked well and drowned out any traffic sounds from nearby roads.

We used booking.com to book Palm Gardens Hotel!
After many hours of talking to booking.com, many emails, social media is now our only recourse.
The booking.com pictures bore no resemblance to the actual hotel, we booked the honeymoon suite as we thought this would give us a superior room.
What a disappointment, I’m just glad we weren’t honeymooners! The room smelt musty, I dread to think what was under the pillow slip, looked like a tea towel, the mattress was so soft you would have rolled together in the middle, the paint work was terrible, the front door was stiff and would hardly lock. The sitting area was an old settee, covered in a grey blanket, I did not look underneath! The shower dripped constantly and would have needed a visit from the plumber. The outside seating area was grey, rusty furniture, like I say nothing like the advertised pictures.
We refused to stay there, the island was full due to the cricket,so we ended up staying in a very nice all inclusive hotel, 5 minutes from the Palm Gardens, Palm Gardens cost nearly £1500, and we thought we would spend £1000 on food and drink for our stay, the other hotel cost us £4500, money we had not budgeted for, so basically out of pocket £2000!
Booking.com offered us 10% of our cancelleation fee, the grand sum of £19!
booking.com customers please beware, what you see is not what you will always get!

Whoever cook in the restaurant is rude as hell and the food is trash. I'm not just saying that because I'm upset. The food really don't taste good. Thank God it has other food deliveries like KFC, Burger King, Chinese Food and Pizza. The hotel is ok just for quarantine purposes. Other than that the rest of the staff was ok I guess 🤷🏾♀️

First the good- the hotel staff was exceptional. Very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is quiet and close to bars and restaurants. The beach is close although staying here one night pre-cruise we didn’t go to the beach.
The not so good. From previous reviews I was expecting an outdated, large, clean room. The room was large and very outdated and just ok when it came to being clean. There was hardly any water pressure and it took forever for the water to get hot. The safe didn’t work and we had to ask for soap and a hair dryer.
Bottom line-it was ok for one night.

Spent 9 nights here on the top floor room 301, honeymoon suite. Plenty of room and facilities. Noise for the Devachan bar quite loud as this was a rooftop room. Although this hotel is not 5 star there is a pool and the staff are so helpful especially Corneal and Natasha who were very attentive to anything or help we required

Positives were a large room, comfortable bed, cleaners daily. Close to amenities… restaurants, supermarkets and beach.
Negatives- dated, unfriendly staff, bar and restaurant only open till 4… later at the weekend.!
Just didn’t find the hotel very friendly…. It was used a lot by one nighters, on the way to or from cruise ships.
Wouldn’t recommend

We needed a quiet place to stay for a night after coming off a cruise, until our flight the next day. Palm Garden Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable (twin beds) and very clean. The A/C worked. The (included) breakfast in the attached restaurant was quite good. The location was quiet, and just what we needed. Wifi was great. Room included a kitchenette. Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

We just stayed one night between flights also. It was very small and old, but clean enough. Bathroom very small and NOT updated. I don't remember a moldy smell, but the fridge made lots of noise and we had to unplug it to sleep. The room was like an older, cheap motel in the states. I wouldn't stay again other than to sleep somewhere for the night before an early flight.
Yes. A good size one.
Yes. The smell is bad.
You turn out of the hotel turn left and no more than 10 minute walk your at the gap.
Hope this helps
You might have to call on that.
