Could not have asked for a better stay. What started as a disastrous holiday was saved by Shani Clarke at reservations who was able to book us in last minute on Christmas Eve. She was incredibly professional and calm. The whole 3 day experience was lovely. The room was great and the staff in the dining room (Roydell) really took care of us. The afternoon tea was lovely. I would have no hesitation in recommending this family run hotel. Thank you so very much.
Just returned home after a fabulous vacation at The Reefs, and missing it already! The staff was wonderful, which made our stay feel special. At check in, the bellman whisked our luggage to our room, while Chris welcomed us into the reception area with refreshing facial cloths and drink of our choice. As we sipped our drinks, Chris provided a helpful overview of the resort (this was our first stay) and answered our many questions cheerfully. The views were stunning, and provided a sneak peek into our wonderful vacation. Chris then escorted us to our room, and made certain our pre-arrival requests had been accommodated. Our spacious room was above the infinity pool with a large balcony - from there we enjoyed drinks with the stunning views. There is also a small couch and chair that allowed the 3 of us to enjoy room service. The resort is amazing - we enjoyed the infinity pool and beach area each day. There are plenty of activities, with snorkeling (lots of rocks with colorful fish), flotation noodles, kayaking and paddle boarding at no additional charge. There is a wonderful outdoor seating area where we enjoyed evening drinks, listening to the ocean waves and viewing the stars. As my family tends to sleep late, I enjoyed drinking my coffee each morning, while exploring the resort and taking in the incredible views. We ate at the beachside Coconuts restaurant for lunch a few days, and for dinner one night. Food is excellent and the waitstaff is attentive. On our last night, we opted for dinner on the beach and it was an amazing experience with tiki torches and a beautiful sunset. The location of The Reefs is great, as we do like to explore Bermuda (this was our 4th trip) and is readily accessible to other offsite activities and restaurants. We were enjoying our vacation so much, that we extended our stay another 2 nights! We hope to return soon to The Reefs, and highly recommend! As an important side note, we were travelling from the US and observed the hotel's compliance with COVID protocols - there are floor markers as you go into the lobby, and hand gel is readily available. As international travelers, we needed to quarantine in our room until our airport COVID test results were available (per Bermuda's government protocol). As soon as we received our emailed results, we shared with the front desk, and were free to enjoy the property. The restaurant staff is great with COVID protocols, as they take your temperature, gently remind everyone to apply hand gel. Masks are to be worn as you walk to your table, and you may remove once seated.…
We had an amazing time here at the Reefs. Beautiful beach great for swimming and the bed was huge, big and comfortable. From what I understand it’s one of the few hotels on the island where you don’t need to get a shuttle to the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was quite ‘basic’ but I think a lot of the soft furnishings had been removed due to Covid. We didn’t mind, as mentioned, the bed was so comfortable!
Visited for six nights with my wife. The visit was really excellent in all respects. First, Bermuda takes the virus VERY seriously, and therefore there are fewer than ten cases in a place with almost 70,000 inhabitants. The hotel was mostly open and the level of service was first class. Food at the Coconuts Restaurant was superb. Beach was very nice, and we went snorkeling on the beach and saw much sealife.
Everything about this place was unbelievable. The staff and accommodations made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The room, the views and the people were all top notch. Can't recommend this place enough!
