The Oxford Guest House is a boutique bed & breakfast situated just on the edge of Hamilton--Bermuda's capital, business district and major city--with restaurants and shopping just steps away. It is only 150 yards from Hamilton's harbourfront, while the ferry and bus terminals, water tours and Front Street's glittering shops and restaurants are just a block away. The beautiful pink South Shore beaches are within easy reach either by bus, taxi or moped. The location of this property is ideal--convenient to everything. It is an elegant Bermuda-style town house featuring 12 particularly spacious, well-appointed, air-conditioned guest rooms, all with flat screen televisions, cable vision, in room WIFI, coffee/tea maker and private bathrooms. Guest rooms and nearby lounges are tastefully decorated in the manner of a handsome private residence. A substantial complimentary buffet-style breakfast is served daily. This is a wonderful place to stay whether it be for business or pleasure.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Oxford House and could not have been happier. It was a rest, relax and reset time for us as my husband and I needed just that. Take the ferries and the buses to different parts of the island. It’s so small and lovely. So clean and the food everywhere is amazing! Our flights were delayed for two days getting to Bermuda but once there we were greeted by Tata, Rachel and Francis, three of the loveliest people we have met. They are so hard working and accommodating and always a wave and a smile. Kudos to them!! Very clean, very lovely. Highly recommend this House! Hope to return one day! We very much enjoyed our stay at Oxford House. Our room was quiet and beautifully decorated. Oxford House is conveniently located in downtown Hamilton within blocks of fantastic restaurants as well as ferry and bus transport to other parts of the island. I would recommend Oxford House as a peaceful home base for tourists and business travelers alike.

This was our first trip to Bermuda and we chose to stay at the beautiful Oxford House in Hamilton. We could not have been more delighted by our choice. The staff (Rachael, Tata and Francis ) were warm, welcoming and attentive from the start to the end of our stay. Our rooms were large, well maintained, clean, fresh and cool considering the Bermuda heat. The beds were very comfortable, made up with soft pillows, duvets and cool cotton sheets. Every morning we were greeted by a member of the staff as we sat down either inside the dining room or outside in the pretty English garden to a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, eggs, cereal, juices, breads and fresh coffee. We found the location of Oxford House to be ideal for touring on foot. Not only is the area quiet and beautiful it’s also a 5 minute walk to the waterfront where all the shops and restaurants are as well as the bus stop and ferry. Our favourite memory is coming back to The Oxford House, after a full day of touring around Bermuda and sitting down around 5:30 in the garden with a nice glass of wine accompanied by an assortment of cheese and crackers all complimentary. Oh, and if you stayed out in the garden long enough(at dusk) you were serenaded by the “tiny tree frogs”!! Nothing but good words to say about the Oxford House! The service, cleanliness, location, everything was excellent. The staff especially are so friendly and accommodating! Whatever requests and reservations we asked for were addressed in a very timely manner. The rooms are as expected and the wifi, AC all worked great. The bathrooms especially was very sizable and clean like the rest of the property. A quick <10 minute walk from the bus station in addition to many restaurants and grocery stores. It isn’t necessarily the best place in terms of staying on the property during the day (anyone coming to Bermuda should look to explore the whole island anyways!) but it was perfect for us. A big thanks again to the Oxford House and the staff for making our trip all the more comfortable and enjoyable. …

In a great location, the rooms are large and very comfortable. Lots of little extras such as Moulton Brown toiletries, water left in the room daily and beach towels. The complimentary breakfast is good and also complimentary drinks at 5pm. We really enjoyed our trip and would book again.

I started my vacation in Bermuda at a lovely VRBO that flooded the first day of my stay due to heavy rains. Rain was predicted to continue so I decided to move quickly I was a bit disappointed to not be staying on the beach. I did a lot of research and it is hard to find something under $500 a night that is on the beach and in good condition. Hamilton was not my first choice but the ability to be in walking distance of restaurants, shopping, groceries, busses and ferries I now believe is the way to go. This lovely place checks all of the boxes. The location in Hamilton is far enough from bustling Front Street but close enough for a quick walk for whatever you may need. The neighborhood is pretty and a quiet business area with a pharmacy across the street and several great restaurants a few blocks away, very nice pedestrian experience. The rooms are bright, fresh, large and beautifully decorated, comfortable with lovely bathrooms. The bed and linens are a dream. Quiet and very comfortable and include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine and air conditioning. Very well appointed and very relaxing. The house itself is stately and beautiful, but remains charming and comfortable at the same time. The gardens around the house are a very nice touch. Service was gracious, excellent and friendly, as I found to be the case for Bermuda in general. I was able to leave my luggage and go explore Hamilton before my room was ready. I entered my room to find a perfectly comfortable temperature and my belongings left for me. I would characterize this lovely little gem as a perfect fit for an active traveler who is interested in experiencing Bermuda in a variety of ways, from getting to know its capital city and it’s residents, walking its neighborhoods, visiting shops, dining out and hopping on a ferry or a bus to spend a day at the beach. The room is amazing better than most 5 stars Staff are excellent Location is great so close to front avenue Wasnt sure about guest houses but this was really good, very expensive and the breakfast needs to be a better selections. For being so expensive should be more than just boiled eggs and quiche. (meaty no veg) Expensive approx $1348 (£1109) for 3 nights Breakfast was not good. Poor selection, frozen croissants. They charged $150 extra for my 12 year old son. Expensive considering the breakfast wasn’t great

What a wonderful, beautiful and very cosy hotel, almost like staying with family. The English style especially adds to the charm of the whole house (similar to a villa). You wake up in the morning rested in a very comfortable bed and delighted with the good choice you made with this hotel. The rooms are freshly renovated, very tastefully decorated and everything works great, including the WIFI! The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, you can't ask for more! I will be back, 100%, my next business trip to Bermuda is already lined up!

March 2022 - My first visit to Bermuda will not be my last. In a large part because of The Oxford House and their wonderful staff. Old world charm greets you at the door with a large foyer and a spiral staircase that leads to a wonderful cozy sitting area with an outside balcony. We used every inch of the house. Breakfast provided every morning in the little dinning room. If there were no tables available, then you moved outside to the garden to enjoy your breakfast. At night, we enjoyed a glass of wine upstairs on the outside balcony. Walking distance to the bus depot and shopping. Walking distance to a large choice of restaurants. Our rooms were beautiful and provided us with everything we needed. The staff were always there to help....even if it was just for a corkscrew to open a bottle or to provide some choices of restaurants. Wonderful place, wonderful staff, wonderful island!!…

I can fully recommend Oxford House. It is ideally located for Hamilton and is a short walk into the heart of the city. The staff were so attentive, friendly and accommodating. I usually stay on the other side of the Island, but will now make it my Bermuda business residence from now on. Facilities are good, breakfast is more than ample and a great wi-fi connection for those that require it. Most importantly it is quiet, ideal for those that need a little tranquility.
