Wow! What a wonderful place and gracious hosts. Communication and booking was easy and great. The pool area is an oasis. Apartments are clean, well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Vanessa and Joa were so kind and helpful with all of our questions. Location is super convenient to groceries and Eagle beach. So happy we booked here. It was truly a wonderful two weeks! Would not hesitate to return. Thanks so much!!
This was an absolutely amazing location to spend our vacation. Everything from the effortless entry, to the beautiful exterior and interior settings. Being centrally located near Eagle beach and the large grocery store was very convenient. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Aruba.
The pool was great, the studio was big enough, the hotel was located next to a supermarket and only nine minutes walk to eagle beach. The studio provided everything for us to cook. If you choose to eat at the restaurant there are plenty near as well. My six year old loved the pool! It was a very relaxing vacation. Everyone was very nice. It was the perfect getaway. Thanks
I completely did not enjoy this apartment. It made my vacation on Aruba miserable! Luckily, I reserved this place only for 3 nights. You can not imagine how happy I was to finally get out of there! Let’s start from the apartment’s location. It is not super far from a wonderful part of Eagle Beach, the distance is walkable, and it would take you like 8-10 min to get to the beach. BUT you have to walk through a long shopping mall parking lot, after a dangerous highway (and people drive crazy in Aruba, some drivers just ignore you in the cross walk and do not stop), some little backstreet, which I barely noticed at first and one additional block of hotels. Not the prettiest walk! The apartment building, by the way, is hidden right behind a big food market, right next to a super trashy looking Chinese apartment. It is nice to have this grocery shop across the street, but even this doesn’t help the whole situation. It feels completely ghetto! Another thing I did not like was the gate to enter/leave the apartment building. It is a code system, so you have to memorize a code (or always make sure that your phone is charged) to get it and out, which is ridiculous! Why would you need to enter the same code on the way out??? I do not get it at all! Absolutely stupid system! Just put one button to open the door from inside and make life for your visitors a lot easier! Next step is the door code to open the door of my apartment. Just 4 letters! Come on! So unsecured! Even do 6! Anyway, even if you can not hack the 4-letter code, you can easily break the door, because it is light like a regular door inside of an apartment. It did not feel secure at all! The next issue I had was noise. I got apartment #4, which was basically the first apartment when you enter through the gate. I always heard people’s steps, voices, music, also sometimes sounds of big trucks passing by the road right next to the building. My apartment had 0 soundproofing. By the way, the toilet in my apartment was located near the side of a walkway, so people who passed by could clearly hear everything that was going on in the toilet. The next problem for me was the day light situation in my room, which barely existed. I can not say that the room was completely dark, but it definitely needed more day light. And for me it is a big problem because I like to stay in bright places. In general the apartment was not really big, plus, super outdated. All the furniture was crappy, had scratches all over it, the sofa felt greasy and dirty, everything seemed just dusty. I must mention, that they did a nice job with cleaning the floors etc, but cleaning does not really help if the place’s core is a bit of a mess! The apartment had a little kitchen, but I was disgusted to use any of it amenities. Even the refrigerator inside seemed dirty and had an “old used food” smell. The bed was super uncomfortable, including awful pillows! Also supposedly it must be Queen Size, but it felt little smaller than this and it barely fit me and my partner. The bathroom was super small, shower was absolutely tiny and uncomfortable, moreover, also felt kind of dirty, plus, actual shower top was broken! It was just a hole there from where water came from! Sorry, but even many public beach showers have these tops and actually look like showers. To be honest, whenever I showered, I felt like a prisoner in jail! An awful experience! The actual toilet was yellow in the inside, disgusting too. Luckily the bathroom amenities were a good quality, they used a local popular brand called "Aruba Aloe", which is nice, so even something in this place was not trashy. Wi-Fi was awful! It was impossible sometimes even to upload an Instagram post! Another sad thing, there is no washing machine and dryer on a site. This place should have them both. One more thing I would like to mention is the bad communication with the hotel’s staff and housekeeping. Because I stayed for only 3 nights, I asked the front desk person right away not to send a housekeeper to my room, which she confirmed. Luckily I travel with the mini-cameras and always set them up when I leave my room for a long time. So on the last third day of my stay, I got a notification from the camera that somebody was in to my room, and of course it was a housekeeper. I called to front desk right away and asked them to immediately remove her from my room, which luckily happened pretty fast. But when I finally came back to my room I noticed that the housekeeper stole 2 white towels, which belonged to me. Disaster! By the way, about the towels! They are super cheap in this place and calculate every single towel! They do not give extra. So make sure that you always bring back your towels from the beach because they charge like $30 for a missing towel, which is absolutely crazy! Finally, I have to mention that I paid $250 per night for this place (because it was right after Christmas Day) and this money is absolutely crazy for the poor quality I got! This place’s price must be not more then $50 per night! $30 roadside motels look a lot better sometimes than this crappy apartment! I absolutely recommend not to destroy your vacation in Aruba and do not stay at this place. Trust me, you will regret it! By the way, if the place’s manager is reading my review, I would ask them to communicate with me and do a partial refund!…
The accommodations and service provided met and exceeded our expectations. Cozy vibe with a beautiful area near the pool to enjoy Aruba and the great weather. Would defiantly book a stay here again as it it is close to the Eagle beach and all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay.
We traveled with our toddler son and had a delux one bedroom. We also rented a crib and a high chair from another company that arranged the delivery ahead of our arrival. Our suite was clean and cheerfully decorated. The contactless check-in was perfect and the staff answered all of our email inquiries in a timely manner. We love the location of the place - Super Food had exactly what we needed for the trip and it was convenient that there was a covid testing pharmacy right there in the plaza. The walk to the beach is about 10-min and we had to cross a busy road but most of the cars stopped for us (as we had a stroller) way ahead of time so it was manageable. Considering what we paid for the property, it was definitely a great deal and we would book again in a heart beat if we are visiting Aruba …
We had an amazing time staying at Bubali Bliss for 8 nights. A perfect couple's getaway for our first time in Aruba - high quality and affordable. The grocery store is right nearby, and you can have fresh fish every day at the market and eat on the beach nearby. It's the best place if you want to have more independence than staying at a resort and want to experience more local places, all within walking distance. I also left my AirPods in the room while checking out, which they found and shipped to me. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
We thank Bubali Bliss for a lovely stay in Aruba. The studio was spaceous, clean and had good air conditioning. Many necessary or convenient supplies such as an ice cube maker, beach towels and beach chairs were provided. The property had a colorful and trendy look. Service was good, they help you well with all kinds of questions or problems you might encounter and they are easy to reach. Bubali Bliss is perfectly located across the road from Superfood for all your groceries, and furthermore a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Eagle Beach, where you can take a bus to Palm Beach or Oranjestad for only $2 as well. We recommend Bubali Bliss to anyone who is looking for the things we described above.
Really wonderful place to stay. Modern cozy and they have Internet included. Very close to the beach, and right next to a great supermarket. It's such a lovely quiet, peaceful place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service and front desk are absolutely welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend staying here instead of the hotel strip for a very relaxing stay.
Skip the Palm Beach high rises that are packed with obnoxious tourists and take a look at this beautiful little pod of suites just two blocks from Eagle Beach. The apartments have a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a full bathroom with shower and plenty of closed space to hide your suitcases and hang and stack your clothes. The pool is surrounded by palm trees and is very relaxing with the little waterfall. A great spot to sip on a rum drink! Even more convenient than the beach is the Super Food store just across the street (the back of the store, not the busy front). We bought groceries there for our five-day stay -- fruit, drinks, rum and other food -- and had excellent coffee and breakfast in the little restaurant every day. There is also a beauty supplies store inside where we bought the local aloe vera after-sun lotion. This will save you a taxi ride from most of the resorts on the west end. As for the beach, it was a straight shot past the Super Food to the Amsterdam Manor resort. Much quieter on that stretch of beach and much less tacky. The sand was perfect and the water gentle and shallow. One walk up to the mega-resorts on Palm Beach was enough to reassure us that we had made the right choice in staying at Bubali Bliss. Thanks, Vanessa, for making our stay so memorable!…
