The staff was fantastic. The club lounge especially so, big props to Jesse James, Agnes, Gercon & Rose but they’re really all amazing up there. At the front desk Andres was super accommodating too. The property & location is very nice. The suites are spacious & comfortable. Get an oceanfront room or suite, you’re at the beach & will be disappointed if you’re not looking at it (at least I would’ve been). The beach staff is great too,particularly Kendrick, Conroy & Stefano. There’s a good selection of restaurants on property as well. The beach is clean & great for swimming. It’s nice that they have both an adult & family pool. Highly recommend you stay on a visit to Aruba!
This is a beautiful resort and probably one of the best beach areas on the island. The resort lives up to the Ritz brand of impeccable service and attention to detail. I fell in love with the calm beach waters and views from the resort. Check-in and Check-out were easy, the prices are a little high for food/drinks, however due to the hotel class, this was expected. The jazz/music dinner shows outside were phenomenal.
This was our (wife and I) 25th trip to Aruba. Since 2013, we have booked the Ritz Carlton Aruba every year,normally staying for 12 nights (or more) two times per year. For our most recent trip, we stayed for 12 nights and, as usual, the resort and its staff exceeded our (high) expectations in every way. The reason we return to the Ritz every year is due exclusively to the wonderful and kind friends we have made at the resort and the consistently stellar service we invariably receive. Everyone at the hotel makes your stay memorable, from the bellmen, front desk, housekeeping and beach personal to the restaurant staff. I have noted the names of those exceptional staff members who made our most recent Aruba experience truly unforgettable. Guest Services: Special thanks to Bjorn who always goes the extra mile. With Bjorn, there is never a ‘no’ answer, but rather a genuine smile while making sure you have everything you could possibly need. Also, Carlos could not do enough for us. He has a unique ability to interact and assist guests, all with a huge smile on his face. Housekeeping: Our room attendant, Luz (Sandoval) is the sweetest woman ever! She put a smile on our face every day and keeps our room in immaculate condition daily. Whenever we return to the Ritz, we make it a priority to specifically request Luz to service our room. Restaurants and Food Service: Our daily breakfast buffet at the Solanio restaurant was exceptional with a great view and a sumptuous selection of foods. A sincere and special shout-out to, Charlene, whose service made our breakfast experience phenomenal ever day! Charlene’s kind demeanor, attentiveness and hospitality were unmatched. We requested a table in her section every day she was on duty and will continue to do so in future stays at the Ritz! We had dinner at the Casa Nonna restaurant three times! The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. I would especially recommend the Spaghetti Pomodoro, Pica Alla Toscano and Polla Alla Parmigiano. All dishes were served with mouthwatering warm Focaccia bread. With each of our three meal, we received exceptionally impeccable service from the following Casa Nonna team members: Angela, Josh, Ken, Nino, Fiori and Janin. Gift Shops: Special thanks to Vianny from the Ritz gift shops and boutique! When I developed a blister on one of my toes, she went ‘above and beyond’ to recommended a pair of comfortable, open sandals. In addition, she went out of her way to provided Band-Aids to prevent further irritation and chafing. To say that Vianny is an incredible asset to the Ritz Carlton would be a major understatement! Miscellaneous Our only complaint with the resort is that we really miss the nightly turn-down service that was previously provided daily (prior to the pandemic, that is). We hope this service returns soon as we miss the replacement of used towels, the bedding turn-down and especially the little chocolate candies!…
It was our first time in Aruba and my, what a lovely experience. The staff could not have been more on point, courteous, helpful and kind. This is large hotel but at the end of the beach, tranquil and low key, which is what we wanted. (The larger Marriott next door was quite a bit more lively but not our scene, so we were glad to have chosen the Ritz). We ate in the hotel several times and the food was quite good. First dinner at BLT Steakhouse, which was excellent, probably our best meal in Aruba even though everything was excellent and the island seems more known for its seafood (which was fresh and delicious everywhere we went). Lovely stay. We'll be back.
My honey and I had the most relaxing and romantic stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Aruba!! We stayed for 6 nights and we can only say amazing compliments to the entire staff! We enjoyed the beach front chairs, cocktails and yummy treats! Joey was awesome and set us up at a front row beach chair! We enjoyed breakfast at solanio so tasty. The birds enjoyed the baked treats as well! We had our anniversary dinner on the beach with a private waiter! The food was absolutely incredible! Grilled pineapple with shrimp appetizer, delicious hearts of palm salad and our entrees were equally scrumptious! My filet was perfectly cooked and the sea bass was so fresh! The team of Jamie, our waiter, Chef Lucien, Yaniqe the concierge and the manager Mauva made this a magical wonderful anniversary.
