This was our first trip since the pandemic began. We could not have been happier. The Bucuti is an excellent resort with top notch staff, rooms, food, beach, lounges and more. The staff were incredibly helpful and caring. They were so wonderful! We cannot wait to return. Also, their attention to detail, including COVID protocols were incredible. It was just what we need, a great place to relax, hang, sit on the beach eat great food and be happy. Highly recommend. We hope to return again and again!.

Bucuti and Tara !!! My wife and I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful adults only resort on Eagle Beach in Aruba for 10 days in mid October. Upon arrival we were greeted with warm smiles and a glass of cold champagne ( more about those smiles later ). Check in was easy and informative and we were shown around the property before we went to our room. The grounds are beautiful and clean as was our room. The beach is spectacular... clean and uncrowded with the turquoise water of the Caribbean serving as the backdrop. Our room in the Tara building was comfortable and clean with a direct view of the beach and the ocean. The bed was super comfortable and the AC units are very quiet. We loved that this is an environmentally friendly resort and it shows in the little things they do here such as having insulated beverage cups for each guest in the room and water filling stations at various locations.... no empty water bottles piling up here ! The pool and hot tub are great. There are 2 great dining options... Elements and Senses restaurants, a beach front bar, and plenty of comfortably padded lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach and pool areas. Their gym is modern and clean with plenty of equipment. We also greatly enjoyed our beach palapa couples massage ! We loved our daily visits with Paco the resident parrot. What truly separates Bucuti and Tara from any place we have visited before are their people ( back to the warm smiles ). Our concierge, Ivonne. was wonderfu,l personable and handled our daily requests for various reservations and information skillfully and cheerfully as did everyone we contacted at the concierge desk. Many thanks to Rudolf and Romeo always ready to help with the luggage, get a taxi, or any other task placed before them. A big shout of thanks to Beverly at the beach towel station and everyone at Elements ( I'll talk more about you in a separate review ). All of you are truly the reason we booked another stay at Bucuti and Tara for next October.... we love you all !

We were extremely fortunate to stay at Bucuti and Tara for our first visit to Aruba. The experience helped us to really appreciate the island more completely. It was quiet, clean and very Covid respectful. The food at Elements was so good we chose to eat there most of the time. We felt so lucky not to be near the high rise hotels that looked like small cities unto themselves. We are looking forward to going back to Bucuti, staying longer and seeing more of the beautiful island.

My husband and I stayed at the Bucuti and Tara the first week of October and we cannot wait to return! This was our first trip to Aruba in over ten years, and this property is the reason we will be back. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a special place. We were greeted at the front door, escorted inside the hotel and promptly seated at the check in desk by Ivonne, who provided cold glasses of champagne to sip while gathering our information. Our room was not quite ready, and we headed off to Sandbar for a snack and drinks Karen made me an excellent Aperol Spritz and we had some amazing truffle fries! The room was ready at the time we were told, and we were escorted to our Tara Suite (ground floor) by Aman Gorgeous room, with a decent sized fridge, wet bar, dishes, glasses, large bathroom (with a Smart TV embedded within the mirror!) Coffee machine, with plenty of coffee pods, mugs. The creamer is the non dairy stuff, so recommend getting a glass of milk or cream to keep in your fridge or buy some at one of the local shops. Sitting area with large flat screen, a vanity area (for the ladies make up station—that’s a win!), iPad (you pick your pool or beach seat promptly at 5pm for the following day via the app on the ipad or download to your phone) Large King Size bed (Tempur-Pedic mattress) was a bit too firm for my liking. Bedding could be a bit softer as far as the duvet/blankets—otherwise just fine. There is a button just next to the door where you can press make up the room or ask for privacy The hotel left us a bottle of wine and champagne with chocolates, snacks and lovely notes (nice touch!) Breakfast is included and has everything you need. The only thing that is a bit awkward are the large wooden trays you have to take through the line—they are quite heavy and bulky) We had such fantastic breakfast service by Valeria, Wagner, Manuel, Juan and Vincent. There are items that you can also get from your server that are offered directly from the kitchen -waffles, eggs benedict. On Sunday they have a brunch at Elements that you can reserve a spot for. It is reasonably priced and includes everything you could ever want on a lazy Sunday! Pool is on the smaller size, but honestly it’s just what you need. No swim up bar, but you can get excellent service at your lounger. No music is allowed around the pool (but I think something softly playing in the background would be a nice touch later in the afternoon) Beach is beautiful---a bit of a stroll from chairs to the ocean, and at certain areas, can be a bit of a dip in the sand to get into the water. Loungers are plentiful, super comfortable, with a large white tiered umbrella to allow for wind to blow through and not cause it to lean There are fitted towels for covering the lounger mattress, as well as additional towels on your chair, a head rest, a drying rack for wet clothes , as well as a table and trash bin There is a red flag on the side of your lounger that you simply push upwards and one of the beach butlers will attend to you! You are welcome to bring your own bottles of purchased wine down to the beach and they gladly set you up with drinkware, and an ice bucket. They have food service on the beach as well. Get the truffle fries and onion rings! Wines by the bottle from their menu are reasonably priced, as are the cocktails. Their house champagne is a Veuve flanker and is really delicious. We had the couples champagne service on the beach one evening before heading out to dinner. You had a bottle of champagne and some delicious snacks. There is a happy hour twice a day, 4-6 pm and 9-10 pm with half priced wine and cocktails/beer. (shout out to Karen, Luis, and Carlos!) You get a proper drink, in an actual glass and fabulous service! No plastic drinks with bottom shelf liquor and rushed service. It’s a great way to unwind before you head off to dinner, or for a post dinner cocktail before bed. The hotel grounds are immaculate and the bathroom near the pool is probably one of the cleanest public restrooms I’ve ever seen. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a quick cab ride. We had the tasting dinner at Senses and it was such a great experience. I am so glad we were able to make reservations ahead of our trip I love the intimate setting that the Bucuti and Tara provide. You feel like you are in a calm oasis of both serenity and luxury. We will definitely be back!
