Room smelled bad. Water dripping down the walls and mold. The food was ok. Don't swim, pool water was dirty. The employees were great and helpful. The hotel seemed run down and old. I didn't want to stay there and relax.
all accommodations and accoutrements were good no frills . location and staff were great. just what this traveler needed. A one block walk to the beach and restaurants of all kinds. on bus line and other transportation means (bikes and Scooters) Danki
I will say the hotel isn’t fancy or luxurious it is actually quite outdated and in need of some repair so if you prefer those kinds of hotels then this may not be for you …but it was not at all run down -the room had a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and robe. The cleaning service was thorough the room was definitely clean with fresh towels but the bed was a bit lumpy but after a busy day we knocked out and didn’t notice. The indoor breakfast area is small but the outdoor area was beautiful way to start the morning. Staying here you are a very short walking distance to all nightlife, casinos, palm beach, shopping and public transit so that can’t be beat! We rented a car which we had no problem keeping in the small lot at the hotel and check in/out was a breeze! We would WITHOUT A DOUBT go back and highly recommend Brickell Bay for the staff and location alone it was worth it!…
I stayed here as a solo traveler and felt my needs were met -- its located close to plenty of restaurants, shopping and the night life is pretty active around this area. Johny and the kitchen staff were phenomenal ! This place includes free breakfast which saves you some money, its also near the beach -- you can either walk or have someone from the hotel drive you there. I recommend walking so that you may get a feel of the neighborhood.
Everyone at the Brickell Bay hotel, from the manager on down were extremely nice and amazing. They went out of their way to ensure we had and wonderful and relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this all adult facility to anyone wanting to get away for relaxation and quiet.
Truly a great place to stay! The staff was so nice and the breakfast in the morning was great I’d recommend the Brickell Bay to anyone. The pool was so relaxing with the bar there. It’s an old resort but nice and clean
When we travel our intent is to explore and have a place for a good nights sleep. A basic hotel is all we need, and this is what Brickell Bay is. This is NOT like the resorts along the ocean. Think Best Western or Americinn and you get the picture. Pros. Adults only. Soft comfortable beds. Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean rooms and area. Air conditioner worked so well were sometimes cold at night. Access to a reserved area on the beach. There are plenty of restaurants just around the corner in both directions. Cons. Not a place for a marriage proposal (not romantic). Rather dated and basic compared to the resorts that surround the Brickell Bay. Views from window are not so great. I know I gave this a 5 star review even with the cons, but please understand that our needs may not be as great as most travelers. *We had a conversation with the manager and was told that the hotel will be going through major renovations through the upcoming year. I'm not sure how this will affect your stay if you choose to book here in 2022-23.…
woke up to wet floors and slip hurting my elbow and hip I complain to the about what had happened, manager did not take down a report or some type of written statement and no concern of my well being.
Great location great price for the area the pool is nice the room was average the free breakfast was good and a nice bonus serves from 7-11 so plenty of time beach is about a 1 city block walk and all the best clubs, bars, lounges are all very close as well staff very friendly and helpful
My husband and I had our honeymoon here. The location is central to everything, we walked everywhere and it was so safe! The rooms are air conditioned. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice to have. We'd definitely return!
