This is the friendliest place on earth. The entire staff is accommodating as soon as you enter the resort. We love seeing Leabitt Reynoso at the palapa hut. His great personality along with others is the reason we keep returning to the Holiday Inn several times a year. We love this resort.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Aruba back in July 2018 with my family. It was a good experience so I decided to stay here again in July 2021 with my friends. We booked our stay through booking.com and choose the “superior resort view.” We expected to have a decent view for what we paid. However, upon arrival we checked into a room in building 5 facing the PARKING LOT. It was absolutely horrific. Our “superior resort view” was a loud parking lot in dark, dirty room. I was truly disgusted and in shock considering I had a beautiful room in building 5 facing the garden/beach the first time I stayed at the Holiday Inn. I plan on going back to Aruba in September, but I will be considering other hotels after this terrible experience. I wish I was aware before booking that a “superior resort view” would get me a view of the hotel’s lot. This hotel has SO much potential, but it really needs a remodel. Every time I went to the front desk there were other guests complaining about their room and asking for their money back.

i just recently got back from a week stay at the holiday inn in Aruba. the only positive thing I can say about the hotel is the amount of beachfront this hotel had was amazing. I dont think there is another hotel with this much beachfront on the strip it was huge. BUT that is where anything positive for the trip ends. we get to the hotel and went to check in. Now yes I did book through a third party(like expedia etc) and who doesnt these days. well i get to the front desk and I am checking in 4 people(me my wife and 2 kids) now through the rez i booked and ocean front 2 bed room(the hotel claims when you book through 3rd party the room is not guaranteed but it is sold seperatly when you book 1 bed or 2 beds) so i continue to tell the front desk this and they insist the rooms are not guaranteed. so for my family of four they gave 1 bed with a terrible pull out couch. now onto another selling point when you book an ocean front room you are supposed to get a free pallapa for the duration of your stay well they claim because I booked through a 3rd party the pallapa was not free. To compensate for the room mix up they claim they gave me the pallapa for free which I should have had anyway. Now I will get back to my review but when I got home I called the main offices of the holiday inn and complained because I have stayed in many holiday inns with work traveling and never got treated the way i was treated and they told me they looked in the system and saw that yes I had reserved a 2 bed room and the rez was changed the night before my arrival(why I have no idea no one will tell me). so back to my review. now I have stayed at other hotels in aruba and other destinations that offer all inclusive. well the all inclusive at this hotel was $990 for 2 people for 5 days totally not worth it. you get bottom tier alcohol and draft beer only. any other place you go to when they do all inclusive it means all inclusive does not matter what kind of alcohol you are drinking and they serve you a drink in a small Dixie paper cup i dont even think the cups were 10 oz what a waste. now to the room we get there and to call this a room was a joke the bathroom you could not move around in crammed is not the word. and the room as well to put 4 people in a room that small was a joke. there was no extra blankets for the pull out couch(even though they made the pull out couch for us and did not supply any extra pillows or blankets in the closet like most hotels would. the sliding door to my balcony was old and sometimes would not open and close properly. you can close the door all the way and lock it but at the bottom there was a big gap that the hot aruba air would come into the room and never allow the room to get cold with the air conditioning.(I have pictures is anyone wants them) Drinks i covered in the joke they consider all inclusive. Food breakfast was ok typical breakfast buffet, Lunch was ok as well. Dinner on the other hand was terrible(we wnet out to eat and planned on it anyway with all the great restaurants in aruba no need to eat at the hotel but we did 2 of the nights because timing wise with the small kids. the italian was absolutely terrible the outdoor restaurant sea breeze i believe it was called was ok. My ending thoughts on this is there are a lot better choices to stay in Aruba. it is an amazing island to visit with great food. PLEASE stay at another property do yourself a favor, even if it is more money spend it you will be glad you stayed away from this disgusting un freindly hotel.

I have been gong to Aruba for the last 15 years. The first time that I vacationed in Aruba I stayed at the Marriot. On my way back from that long walk on the beach I cut through a hotel that was directly on the beach. As I looked around I realized that the hotel was clean, the beach property was beautiful and it was a Holiday Inn!! After that I went back home and looked and compared prices and I have never stayed anywhere else. Every time that I go to Aruba I stay at the Holiday Inn. I usually will book the front ocean view and I have no regrets. I just came back from an extended 2 week vacation at the Holiday Inn and I had the best time! The people are very friendly and they go out of their way to help you. My girl at the front desk Su Lenne was very friendly and helpful . She recommended places to eat, and helped us and our friends who were coming down last minute get a room with a beautiful view. From Kyle at the front always greeting us with a smile to Su Lenne at the front desk to Alberto, Glenda, Miguel and Bryan at the beach bar the staff makes you feel like you are an old friend. Thank you everyone for another unforgettable vacation . We cannot wait to return to your lovely Island! Your friends from Jersey -Diana and Danny
