Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I made our trip to Aruba for the first time July 19-26. I had read a ton of reviews before selecting Manchebo. I picked it because I didn't want a giant high rise to stay in with a million other people. I didn't want a crazy pool scene with blaring music and people taking shots yelling at each other. That all is fine and fun, but we were wanting some place relaxing, smaller and more intimate. For reference we're 43 and 44 years old- we love a good time and after this last year, our good time meant peace and tranquility. Manchebo was more than we could have imagined. I emailed with Sabina a month or so prior to our visit. She helped me with dinner reservations and a million other questions. She was so great to work with. We took a taxi from the airport- it’s about a 10 minute ride. It was $26 USD. Upon arrival, the nicest gentleman (I apologize for not getting his name), got our luggage out of the taxi while we checked in. Another nice gentleman brought us the most delicious mojitos and we were given cold washcloths. The check in process was lovely with Setchel. The gentleman that had gotten our bags showed us to our room and was just so fun and kind- he really got us extra excited to be there! We were blown away that a surprise bottle of champagne was on ice in our room with two glasses and a "Happy 8th Anniversary" note from the resort to us! Things I loved about our room (#9, deluxe ocean view): Strong wifi, makeup mirror/iron/hair dryer provided, safe provided, small cooler to take to beach provided, walk in shower, just steps from beach/restaurants/front desk, beautiful view (we were in #9 on ground floor), coffee maker/fridge provided, rooms were really quiet, a ton of storage, extremely clean, modern décor, nice little patio with two chairs and little table, nice king sized bed. The room was just perfect. We LOVED Josuel and Alejandra on the beach. They work so hard each day getting drinks and food to everyone and they do it with the friendliest and best attitudes! We also adored Philesha- she helped us during our romantic dinner on the beach! She was so fun! Stephany was also wonderful! Truly incredible humans I just named are. Manchebo is lucky to have them. The palapas are spaced nicely so you’re not on top of others. The sand is gorgeous. The water is turquoise. If you’re looking for calm water, this was not it. The waves are constant but it’s refreshing and beautiful. There are no water sports- paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. But we knew that ahead of time and didn’t need that, we went on excursions off site to get activity. The spa was wonderful- we did a couples massage and it’s open air. Listening to the ocean and feeling the breeze was amazing. I loved the island casual, yet modern feel of the entire place. Everything from the rooms to the landscaping to the restaurants were beautiful. The food at each restaurant was delicious. We were there 7 days and only ate outside of the resort for three meals. The all-inclusive was totally worth it to us as we enjoyed drinks on the beach all day, and loved all the meals at the resort. We can’t recommend Manchebo enough and we can’t wait to come back. Shout out to all the staff from me and my husband (the guy that always ordered 2 Balashi’s)!

This was our 5th stay at Manchebo - it gets better every time! What’s not to love, Eagle beach is amazing. The staff is super friendly- from the moment you arrive at reception, until the day you leave, everyone is happy to make your stay a great one. Love the new pool. And nothing beats the morning yoga class - what a great way to start the day! We loved our oceanfront room, the A/C worked great, it was very hot the week we were there (103F). We ate at Ike’s and Omakase for dinner - both were outstanding. Lunch at Pega Pega was very good - I really enjoy eating on the beach. The water was refreshing and crystal clear. Don’t miss the Spa Del Soleil - I had a hot stone massage and it was incredible. Looking forward to our 6th stay!!

We have each been coming to Aruba for over 20 years and have stayed at a variety of resorts. This was our second time staying at the Manchebo, and we absolutely won't stay anywhere else on the island again, it's that perfect for us. From the moment you enter the resort, greeted by smiling faces and a complimentary mojito, all the stresses you may have just start melting away. Our room was perfect, sparkling clean and beautifully situated so we woke up to an amazing ocean view every day. Hand sanitizer and masks were available not only in our room but throughout the resort, and the staff always had their masks on, which was very comforting and reassuring for us. Though we did not utilize room service or the Omakase Sushi Bar, we have no doubt they were just as fabulous and delicious as the other restaurants at Manchebo. But as amazing as the food was (and it sure was!), nothing compares to the friendliness, efficiency and genuine happiness and helpfulness the entire staff at the Manchebo provides! Every employee we encountered there was fantastic, and we only wish we could mention them all by name here (we unfortunately can't remember them all), but our deepest gratitude goes out to all of them for making our vacation and engagement as magical and memorable as possible. Thank you to all, and we can't wait to see you all again soon!

Once we arrived at the property the staff were very welcoming and helpful on any questions we had regarding to the hotel services, activities booking and reservations with any restaurants. The beach is very private, it is perfect if you looking for a relaxing trip. Every penny was worth the experience with Manchester. We will definitely come back!
