We really enjoyed our stay at the Manchebo Beach Resort. All the staff were excellent - all personable and really went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and at home. I think the smaller size of the resort (compared to a lot of others in Aruba) also makes for more of a feeling of exclusivity here too which wouldn't be possible in a larger resort. The rooms were on the small side for this kind of luxury property (and price tag) but still had some nice touches, and we liked the direct access to the beach. Whilst not a major problem, we didn't appreciate our room being located next to some kind of laundry cupboard which occasionally created some noise in the morning - although overall the soundproofing in the room was good and the bed was large and very comfortable indeed - and the pillows were of amazing quality - some of the best I have experienced in any hotel room actually - making for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was quite small and we didn't particularly like the shower layout which seemed to encroach on the toilet - but these negatives are minor and didn't really affect our overall enjoyment. Breakfast was good in the main and we loved the great service and general ambience - as well as being able to order from a full menu with everything being cooked to order. The pool was nice enough - but we found it was slightly strange the way the main restaurant opened up onto it.. giving it an almost ornamental feel - but the pool is secondary to the star of the show at this hotel which is it's beach area. The hotel's section of beach is very spacious with plenty of sun loungers attended to by happy charismatic staff and the beach itself is the best that we saw on the whole island with fine white sand, palm trees and turquoise blue water - it also had the advantage of never being overly busy anywhere in the vicinity whilst we stayed there. You can walk in either direction and the beach views each way are outstanding. We also loved the daytime food and cocktails available from Pega Pega which were tasty and reasonable value. We found the price of food in the evening at the resort restaurants to be quite high - if you want a fine dining experience every evening it will tick that box.. But if your dining budget doesn't stretch to this every evening you can find better value dining in Oranjestad or along the beach - we didn't really have a bad meal the whole time we were in Aruba however and overall found the food to be tasty everywhere we visited. The surrounding areas inland of the hotels zone at Eagle Beach, and on the outskirts of Oranjestad are uninspiring - and some of the development in and around Palm Beach is ugly, so don't go expecting a quaint tropical island experience everywhere on the island.. but as far as Manchebo is concerned - they have created a tasteful oasis filled with tropical plants and abundant bird and animal life on one of the best sections of beach that the island has to offer which is as good as it gets! And finally - a word about travelling here during the Pandemic - we found the resort dealt with the new requirements really well - protocols were being followed by all the staff everywhere and room was spotlessly clean - room cleaning could also be booked on demand etc to minimise contact. And more importantly there was ample space for the amount of guests everywhere at this resort - meaning you could avoid contact with lots of other people pretty easily here. We also really appreciated the hand sanitiser available everywhere and even the mask/gloves kits and full size sanitiser left in the rooms on arrival. If we ever come back to Aruba we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel's Favorite
We just got back from an 8 night stay at Manchebo and it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and they are taking covid very seriously. All employees wear masks (even outdoors) and there is hand sanitizer as soon as you approach the lobby or the restaurants. They were taking traveler information for contract tracing. There were very few other guests while we were there, which was sad for the hotel but awesome for us. The beach, which is amazing, was nearly empty most days. They have tons of beach space anyway, so even if the place was full I think the beach would still accommodate everyone. This is our third time in Aruba and the beach at Manchebo is the nicest one we have encountered. Every day we would have lunch on the beach, which was so convenient. We stayed in an ocean front room, which was lovely. It had a very comfortable bed, a tv with tons of channels, and excellent air conditioning. Room service was very convenient. The restaurants onsite have many vegan options which I appreciated. I can't think of anything negative to say about this resort.

This is my 2nd stay at this resort. I can't say enough good things about it. It is rather small, intimate and has a great beach (you can walk for several miles on it - beautiful). The food is EXCELLENT and the staff goes out of their to make you feel welcome. They remembered me from last year and welcomed me back. They are very friendly and helpful. The resort is immaculately clean and very professional. I would like to especially praise the following servers/bar staff: Juan Eloy Ana Maria Rebecca Jean Ada Gikay Alejandra Alex Aracelys Shonn I probably have forgotten many others. You will be very happy at this resort. I will go back again!!

From the moment we arrived in the open air lobby of this hotel, we felt comfortable and at home!! The welcoming Mojito was great then the very friendly staff that helped us every single time we needed anything!! We Loved this fantastic lovely property and truly believe it is THE BEST in area! The beautiful wide beach is gorgeous and well spaced for comfort and a sense of privacy with huts. The locals usually come later in the day and sit under the palm trees, on the beach as all the beaches are public. We enjoyed our daily Yoga at the large open Pavilion. Such a perfect way to start the day!!! We loved our room on the 2nd floor for an ocean view, as the hotel sits back from the beach quite a bit and the 1st floor rooms do not offer as good of a view unless it is from the last building, which is closer to the beach. The restaurant was wonderful and also nice to have the open air concept. The food was very good as was the service!! We truly cant wait to return to this gem that we stumbled upon...hope to be back soon!!

With uncertainty around Covid we were a bit nervous about our trip. Then we found Manchebo Beach Resort and all of our worries melted away! The clean beautiful rooms, the comfy beach chairs, the wonderful service. I know I can’t remember everyone but Josuel, Ana Maria, and all the morning staff. The 29th of December we did the romantic dinner and the gentleman who served our table was outstanding! Manchebo Beach Resort is a must. We will be back!
