Totally overrun by aggresive iguanas and poop all aroung the pool area eported to staff and absolutely nothing was done about it. Staff was feeding them even with many posted signs not to feed them. Our room was very dated with stained and dirty furniture

Quick 4 day getaway for my son and my mom and myself. We got exactly what we needed with a great renovated room, excellent staff and service, and a beautiful beach and view to top it off. We would definitely return especially anticipating the entire resort being renovated at that time.

Was looking for an affordable short getaway and this was the perfect pick!!! Not beach front, but literally a straight forward walk 3-5 min walk through a lobby of another resort and boom! There lies the beautiful Eagle Beach! I got there at around 815 every morning and had no trouble getting a palapa and chairs that are free, there are workers that help you find the ones that belong to your resort. Also there is a bar on the beach!!! The beach was clean and serene!! Pure and peaceful. The resort is about a 10 min cab ride ($9) to the downtown area which is much more lively. I liked that the hotel and beach at eagle Aruba was more low key than the downtown area. The hotel itself did not disappoint, room was clean, mattress was comfortable and AC worked amazing. There are Iguanas all around the grounds! Never seen them that big, but they aren’t a bother. The pool activities were fun, bingo and happy hour. Pool has a cool water slide! The best advice I can give is eat at Uncle Tonys the hotel restaurant, daily! Everything on the menu was delicious and affordable!! Can not go wrong with it!! I promise! I will def be back to this resort

It was my first time in Aruba and we were immediately disappointed with this resort. Check in area was out in the open and seemed chaotic. Luckily the line didn’t get too long and our wait was relatively short. The young lady that checked us in was nice and polite. You will get solicitors for time shares as you’re given the WiFi password. WiFi works well in the lobby but that’s about it. Our excitement for this trip was short lived the moment we got into our room (don’t stay in room 4540). There is an extremely pronounced smell of mildew that encompasses the whole unit. It was unbearable! My boyfriend called the front desk to see if we could switch to another room. He was informed that someone would return his call promptly. We waited over 30 minutes and still no call. Finally he took it upon himself to call back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said there were no rooms available except for a similar room on the 5th floor. We switched rooms but the smell is still prominent. Both rooms were extremely outdated and in dire need of an upgrade. We wouldn’t have even mindEd paying for an upgraded room but the hotel simply did not work with us. It’s unfortunate that we are here for a week and have to experience the unpleasantness. The only positives are the view of the pool and waterfall from our room. Also, the kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook. I did not physically see the renovated rooms that the other reviewers spoke of, however, I’m hoping it’s a huge improvement from the older rooms. Unless you’re able to book those rooms I would not recommend this resort. Not the expectations we had hoped but will make the most of our week long stay.

Good resort for the value. A bit far from the beach. Could use an upgrade at their poolside cafe. Very slow service. But, the pool at the resort was great. Plenty of lounge chairs. Eagle Beach was a bit more windy than I remember. But, the water was great. First time traveling there in the summer. Always traveled in the winter before.
