We had a very wonderful time at the resort. Close to other restaurants and shopping. And plenty of shade at the pool and beach so you could choose where you would like to sit! Really great fish tacos and drinks.

Yes they add 15% resort fee and taxes. Chairs are free on the beach but to have shade you can do 2 things- rent a palapa for the week or stand in line every day. The towel hut reserves the palapa's - you stand in line the day before around 3 and the hut takes reservations at 4:00. We reserve online every yr prior to going. We rent for the week and it is all set up in the morning with chairs and towels. I would rather reserve and pay for the week then spend my vacation in line. People may complain about it but all other hotels make you stand in line at the crack of dawn or they have a lottery system.
My favorite place to be every year- this will be our 16th year.
