The Pearl is a very nice resort, very clean the pool was very nice. Right from the first day Zen and Omar were very helpful and always assisted with our needs. Great location to Eagle Beach the mini mart next door was nice to have. Taxis and busses hard to get had to wait a bit but it’s a busy place in early evening.

Recommend! Convenient location with easy walk to the beach and several restaurants and bars. Walked or took the bus to other places most days. Rented a car for sight seeing the day before we left. (We are both middle age and active people, so no issues walking, but likely some of our less active or elderly family members would have a hard time doing the 10 min walk to the beach or further to lunch/ dinner in the heat.) Grocery store trip was a little difficult walking- should have gotten a cab on the way back. Mini mart next door also had lots of options. Condo has lots of space, clothes storage and all the conveniences you would need - toaster, coffee pot, dishes, hair dryer, fridge. Large shower with HOT water. Bed was low, firm. Use of beach chairs and beach towels were a huge bonus. Saved money at the beach by avoiding renting. No umbrella, but we're ok with a few hours of sun. We bought a bag of ground coffee from Clover Coffee right behind Screaming Eagle to make every morning- was great stuff! Pool was beautiful and clean. Mostly retirees at the condos, a few families.

Quiet, centralized location with a short 5 minutes walk to the beach! Condo was super clean and welcoming. We received one cleaning and towel refresh halfway through our stay, but fresh towels and supplies are only a call away, should you need more! Kitchen had the basics and we easily made breakfasts every morning. Super Foods was right down the street and we were within a few minutes of all the attractions of Palm Beach and Eagle Beach. The pool was clean and inviting. Only recommendation was to have some more lounge chairs around the pool. New resort is being built in front of it, but we never heard much commotion or noise, and always quiet at night. Would say the area of Eagle beach we would walk to is the least crowded, but that will most likely change with the resort being built, but for now, it was amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at The Pearl by renting directly from an owner on the Air BnB site. I highly recommend a stay at this condominium complex, as there are so many delightful features. The complex is very well maintained, clean and everything is working in good order. The pool is a perfect place to relax, having many lounge chairs and options for sun or shade. “Location, location, location!” is worth mentioning here. We rented a car and found the central location of The Pearl to be superb for exploring different areas of Aruba. In addition to driving around the island, it is a short walk to the beach and a lovely coastal trail to walk or bicycle ride. When we stayed in early February, the guests and residents were “chill”. It was an older crowd (average age was in their 60’s and 70’). This made for a quieter stay than many other places which had more of a loud, party atmosphere. I have no regrets in selecting The Pearl for a week-long getaway to the island of Aruba!

Thought I would offer a current review… we stayed here 12 days in Jan. 2024 and did NOT want to leave. Our Condo was #10, ground floor. The pool was plenty long for lap swimming, and the whole pool area was relaxing with options for sun or shade. The condo is well equipped with kitchen utensils, (though there was no dishwasher), beach chairs, pool float and noodles, and plenty of towels. An armoire and drawers provided plenty of space for our clothing and stuff. The staff was very responsive. They quickly and successfully addressed our concerns… e.g., hotter water, noisy ceiling fan, slow draining shower. There are ample tables for outdoor shaded eating, with grills. Also, ample chaises lounge. There is a large hot tub, and laundry facilities. There are 2 restaurants within a short walk, one of which is Screaming Eagle, which is fantastic, and Zucchini which is a very good old school Italian restaurant. The mini market next door is a good convenience store, with fresh coffee and some wines and liquors. The only reason I did not rate Pearl Aruba with a 5 is that’s it’s not a high end resort. Also, it’s not close to lots of shops and restaurants. But those are just a 5 -15 minute drive away. The beach, Eagle Beach, is not too crowded in this area. It’s a fairly short walk… about 2 blocks. Go now, before the huge resort being built next door is finished! Ugh! Pearl Aruba is a lovely, clean, quiet place. Yes, I saw a couple of iguanas, but they were not a nuisance. Go and enjoy this home away from home. Personal touch- staff greeted us with a bottle of Prosecco, and at checkout, personally visited us to ask how things went. So classy!

Eagle Beach alot farther than 350 feet. If you Want to go anywhere you need to take taxi If your looking for a resort vibe this not it. There are only two restaurants in walking distance. If you stay in condo through vrbo there is services provided by hotel. No towels for pool. Upon arrival discovered there were no amenities including no maid service. If we needed anything we had to contact host/owner who was on another country. Save your money and go to reliable resort.

Response from Danni Chen, General Manager at Pearl Aruba Condos
Responded Mar 22, 2023
Dear Theresa, sorry to hear about your experience. It seems that you booked with an individual owner at the Pearl and not directly through our front office. If you book with the office, maid service and pool towels are provided and we also advertise accurately what we provide guests. Hope this information is helpful if you decide to stay at Pearl again. Lastly, I think this review should be posted on the channel you used to book with your individual host/owner because it does not represent the service our team provides. Sunny regards, Danni

This place had reasonable prices and had excellent reviews. I was hoping the reviews were accurate and I can tell you that they were! The condo I had was a 1 bedroom but was very spacious. It even had a kitchen setup. I was able to cook some breakfast in the mornings and make tea. I really appreciated that they had beach towels, beach chairs, and a small cooler to use. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The entire property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. We could easily walk down the road to the nicest beach! It wasn't crowded in our area either. We had gone to other crowded parts of the beach. We had the best spot! At the end of the road there is also an excellent restaurant. Right next to the condo was a great spa with excellent massages. There is also a small shop next to that for ice cream, some food items, wine and anything else you might need. I know there are fancier places to stay in Aruba, but the quiet of this area, the proximity to the nicest beach, and the price make this a place I would definitely stay at again. Only criticism I can give, because nothing can be perfect, is that the bathroom could have been cleaned a little more meticulously. I am very particular, but there was definitely a slight odor around the toilet. The bathroom was 100% cleaned, I could tell. This bathroom maybe just needed a tiny bit more attention due to whoever stayed there last.

We (4) stayed at a first floor condo here and it was VERY good. There were plenty of towels (bath and beach) to use for all of us. Even had coffee to start us off with the first full day :) Kitchen items were good...could have used a bottle opener that worked a bit better though. Bedrooms and baths were perfect for us. The beach was a short walk (less than a block) and pretty quiet. Would have been nice to have some form of shade other than trees or palapas ($50 for the day). I know no umbrellas since they will blow away:) Nice short walk, 1 mile, to the grocery store early in the morning. The only part that got me was the resident lizards that hid in the settee outside the door. One scared the coffee right out of my cup one morning by crawling on my bottom!!! Needless to say....I didn't sit in that spot anymore. The lizards were very colorful. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it if you want a quiet place but still close to many places to find activity.

I looked over the choices of places to stay (a few different times before selecting P A C) mostly in the Eagle and Palm Beach areas on TripAdvisor and also on other sites like booking.com etc. I kept coming back to Pearl Aruba because what we like is a place that we can make our coffee and some light breakfast/meals and also have a separate room from the bedroom to play games/cards or watch a movie. This place has all that including a 2nd TV in the bedroom, a very nice BIG shower with great water pressure and lots of hot water ! The kitchen gives you a tea kettle, toaster & coffee maker. They also supply a decent number of plates, glasses, bowls and silverware & cooking utensils/pots & pans, along with a 2-burner cooktop and an apartment size refrigerator. We used everything during our 10 day stay which was just about perfect for the 2 of us. More people or a longer stay may require a bigger place with a "full" kitchen.

This is a fantastic condo! My husband and I didn’t want to spend all of our money on an all inclusive, so we decided to try something different. Aruba has so much to offer and we wanted to go out and explore while also having the option to stay in if we wanted, as well. And we did! We rented a car from Yess Express (highly recommend) and had free parking right outside our condo. The walk to the beach is maybe 5 minutes if you have to stop for cars to go by at the end of the road. Gabriella gave us everything we needed- two chairs, towels and a cooler- to bring with us. Umbrellas are already on the beach if you get there early or late enough to use them, so no need to worry about that too much. The pool is very clean and perfect location and temperature. There were always chairs available and usually only a handful of other people there at a time, so we never felt overcrowded or overwhelmed by others. We even used the grills one night which were so easy and we had all the tools we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee pot & things, etc. we went to Ling & Sons twice while there to keep ourselves stocked which is maybe 10 minutes driving from the condo. Both the living room and bedroom have air conditioning units and they are wonderful! The bed was also quite comfortable and we slept well every night. Noise levels were not an issue either. There were several families with small children and we only ever heard them when we sat outside if they were also outside. Otherwise, we had no idea they- or really anyone else- were there. And everyone we did see, employees or guests, were so friendly! Downtown Oranjestad and Paseo Herencia Mall are 15 minutes driving in opposite directions and have everything else you could need for restaurants and shopping. The airport was also super easy and about 15-20 minutes to get to and from with a gas station in between, if you do rent a car. You can also hit a few small restaurants plus a handful of resort restaurants near the condo with a 5-minute car ride or 12 minute walk. There are also Bird rentable bikes and scooters everywhere that are easy and convenient to use, as well. The restaurant on site (Fruto D’Mare) is adorable and has some great food and cocktails. Service was great, too! We also really enjoyed Zucchini which was steps outside the complex. The mini mart right next door was also quite nice and convenient when we needed something quick. Overall, I highly, highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for something more quiet/away from normal resorts and activity. Plus, it’s a great way to save money while still enjoying a really nice, relaxing vacation! When we come back to Aruba, we’ll be reaching out to them again for sure!
