Ingrid and Stanley were both SO generous and wonderful to be around. This location is right in the city, making it very convenient to get to anything in Oranjestad. They are located in a quaint little neighborhood with locals all around, giving it a very authentic experience. The room has AC, a small bathroom, full kitchen, bed, and daily cleaning service. This place has everything you would need for a convenient and cost-effective place to stay. If I return to Aruba, I will definitely be staying here again.

Stanley and his family were SO KIND to us during our stay. They were overly accommodating with daily cleaning and even gave us directions and a ride to our first destination to learn the area. Don't be fooled by the location, we arrived and were wondering if maybe we had made a wrong decision, but in fact couldn't have chosen a better place. Please note that this is where the locals live, so there isn't luxury as reflected in the pricing. This includes lack of hot water- but due to it being so hot outside we didn't mind. I cannot recommend this location enough. 5 stars.

Outstanding place to stay for a few days. The couple running the hotel are incredibly welcoming and giving. When I got sunburn, they assisted by picking an aloe leaf from their own plants, and also by giving me some extra sunscreen for my next day’s adventures. Such helpful gestures that did wonders for easing my grief (the Aruba sun is HOT...closer to the equator is a factor?). They were always in a super upbeat, friendly mood - this is so appreciated when one is traveling. The room was great - decorated nicely, and everything worked. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip back.

We were there for 7 nights with my 2 year old and we loved it! We were not only treated as part of the family but my son was getting spoiled by Ingrid, they became really good friends 😍😍😍 The place is close to the bus station (about 5 min walk) which it was good for me since I didn’t have a rental, and we were able to go everywhere to include baby beach only by using public transportation. The place is also about 3 min walk from a mini market and about 10 min walk from one of the best Restaurants in town called Sillas (delicious Caribbean buffet). We will definitely come back.

I was in Aruba Feb 16 - 23 2019 with my 5 year old daughter. I had rented the Large guest room and at 1st was a little nervous about staying here. The reason being that I had booked a previous location through airbnb which was canceled 3 days prior to my trip. Then I came across this lovely gem. I really felt like I was with family. I felt right at home here. My daughter and I both fell in love with this place. Other people wrote reviews about not having hot water. But honestly all you have to do is let it run a few seconds and it warms up enough for a shower. It's not boiling hot, but good enough for myself as well as my 5 year old who didn't complain once. And we r from NYC where we love boiling hot showers and baths. The space we rented was like a studio apartment with 2 queen beds, kitchenette, and bathroom. The AC was nice and cold. The owners are so sweet and caring. I can't recommend this place enough. It's about a 7 - 10 min walk to the central bus station, which is across the street from the cruise terminals. 10 min walk from the central shopping area, the free trolley rides, food, drinks. There are PLENTY of supermarkets within walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Colorful place. Only thing I would say is the pool is cold but once your in there its comfortable. It's very quiet as well. The 2 dogs are very Friendly at well.
