The Divi Golf is a nice resort, but the rooms are a bit dated. It is a sprawling property but in general not too crowded (except the infinity pool during karaoke). Check in - pretty slow. There were a few groups ahead of us when we arrived. We had reserved 2 rooms and asked for them to be close together. We had to wait for several minutes while the front desk clerk found some rooms. It was worth it though, because we were put in a building with an elevator right across from Seabreeze, close to the beach. We did not receive a property map of information about activities but I saw other people with maps. There is also a board at the pool at Seabreeze that lists the weekly activities. We did not do all-Inclusive. Rooms - overall good. We booked a studio and a one-bedroom suite. Both rooms were huge. Both rooms had a king bed and queen sleeper sofa. The studio had a small kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, and coffeemaker. The one bedroom also had an oven, but it didn’t work. Also the faucet never got hot water. The beds were comfortable but one of the beds was really creaky one one side. The bathrooms were ok. The one-bedroom had two bathrooms. The bathrooms were showing their age. Some of the doorframes were corroded and the grout in the shower looked old and dirty. Each room had a balcony with table, chairs and a lounge chair. The one-bedroom was on the first floor right next to the lobby which meant it could be very loud if a group of people was outside, this happened a few times very late at night. Pools - there are 4 pools, 2 are pretty small and a little secluded. Another one is next to the Seabreeze restaurant. The last pool is the huge infinity pool with a water slide. That one has a swim up bar and can get really rowdy. They had karaoke one day and the pool was packed. If you don’t get to the pool before noon you may have trouble finding a chair. Beach - like people said, it is pretty rocky, but you can walk up a little bit and it’s fine. We never had trouble getting a palapa and chairs. You have to walk across the street but it is not busy and there is a crosswalk. All of the drivers stop for pedestrians. The gym is across the street at the Tamarjin and it overlooks the beach. There is a good variety of machines but some of the bikes had missing buttons. You cannot beat the view. We ate at Seabreeze and Mulligan’s. Both were good. Mulligans was really nice with a great view of the golf course. It can get crowded for dinner. The grounds are very nice and well-kept. Almost everyone was really friendly, like the bellmen and the shuttle drivers. I stopped a few times at the concierge desk to talk about booking a tour and everyone who helped me was really friendly and helpful. They try to push a 90 minute welcome meeting and give you a resort credit but they didn’t push when I said no. There is a store in the lobby that has T-shirts, drinks, and some essentials if you need something in a pinch. Otherwise, Ling & Sons is about a 10-15 minute walk. Check out - again, a little slow. CHECK YOUR BILL. We had some charges show up that were not ours. Overall we would stay here again. We got so much more value than we would have staying up in the high rise area. It’s not as nice as some of the hotels up there, but less crowded.…
My husband and I have been to several all inclusive resorts ranging from French Polynesia, Mexico and Florida. At each resort we always felt like we were royal guests as the service was outstanding. At the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort this was the opposite. I felt as if we were a burden to everyone that worked there. I had to go out of my way to ask questions and get service and when I did get service it took forever. I also was there with three kids under 3 for a wedding but that certainly made no difference. The moral of the story is the service was terrible and I was very disappointed because it wasn’t a cheap vacation! The rooms were muggy and some of our other friends had mold in their room and dehumidifiers. Our room didn’t have a dehumidifier so it was just muggy and hot the whole time. All of us left with a cold! Do not stay at this resort and make the same mistake. Unfortunately this was for a wedding so we didn’t have an option but I can promise there are better resorts on the island that will treat you better and allow you to enjoy your vacation.…
i love the resort and staff are very nice, some rocks on the beach, not their fault. Just please take care of the GUY on the boat #A650 from I LOVE FUTS that harassing DIVI Guests on the beach, i know he is not from DIVI, but all Guests on the beach are from DIVI resorts, i hope there is something can be done.
I arrived on July 29, 2022 with my wife and family. Except for a little mix up in checking in our rooms the rest of the stay was excellent, the breakfast and service was excellent. I met Jossy Puchi .and her coworkers. They really took care of us Jossy was very professional and did her job as expected. The breakfast staff deserve the acknowledgement. During the stay we also met bartender Terrance Huntington . His service, his professionalism and his friendliness to us and the customers made us all feel very welcome we enjoyed our stay at the resort and Terrance was a big part in that. It is service like this that keeps your business in a 5 star rating. Please acknowledge those employees for there excellent service . Thank you . From the birthday squad .
We purchased a time share 15 years ago, and have probably been here 10 of those years. We love it here, except for 2 issues. There is a lack of communication between their time-share companies and the resort. A few years ago we arrived, suitcases in hands, and they had no record of our visit! They found rooms for us (we have 2 rooms, and brought friends) at the Phoenix. RCI confirmed with us, but never told Divi. We switched to intervale. This trip, I confirmed a few weeks in advance, including our unit numbers. They had a record of our arrival, but not specific rooms. We bought this because we loved the location of the rooms!! Divi was very accommodating, and found us a room for the first night (our units had been given away), and were able to switch us to our own units the next day when it was vacant. My second issue is the changes in the beach . Storms have drastically reduced the size of the beach!!!! I am from.New Jersey...we do beach replenishment regularly! They need to look into this. I love this resort! We have taken our grandkids here twice, staff is great, restaurants,pool...terrific. I would highly recommend staying here, but be aware that there is virtually no beach at the Tamarin, which has resulted in the now very small golf resort beach being very crowded. Also....if you buy a time share, verify with the resort itself and not just the timeshare company!…
This place was very clean and the staff were amazing. When you stay here, it allows guests access to the Tamajin and All Inclusive - it’s great to have diff places to enjoy your time here. My kids loved the slide pool. My only reason not to give them a 5 star review is because the bartenders at the infinity pool are not quick to serve guests with the all inclusive bracelets on. Sometimes my fam and I would wait 15 min for a drink.
We stayed at the Divi Golf resort in July 2022. Airport was smooth, they are very organized in Aruba. We rented a car from "Wheels to go" they met us at the airport and took us to get the car, once again very smooth, thanks to Albert and his friend, exceptional customer service and the car was clean and worked awesome. We checked in at the resort and it went smoothly thanks to the lady with the beautiful spiral hair who we later met again on one of our adventures. A bit surprised they did not offer us a drink upon arrival. We rented a 1 bedroom no meals as we like to venture out of the resort. Our room was clean and well equipped. We were located across the pool bar "Breezes" and the beach was across from the pool. The water was so beautiful, it had some corals when you enter but as you go inside it's sandy. The Palaps are free for the guest, everywhere else you had to pay $10.00 US to rent 1 chair. The location is great, you have the option of visiting the other Divi hotels to eat and the casino. We enjoyed the happy hour at each restaurant, where you pay $9.50 US for a drink and get the second "same" drink free. Normal time, the starting of any cocktail drink is > $9.50 each. We ate the Mulligans restaurant, the food was amazing. Pay attention to your bill, most restaurants tag on 15% to your bill as "service charge". We visited some local groceries where we found some local fruit called "chennet" as known to Trinidadians. Love Aruba and hope to visit again. …
This is our 5th visit to our lovely and spacious superior one bedroom villa at Divi Village. Our unit has two bathrooms, one king bedroom and one queen, comfy sofa bed. Our unit also has a private rooftop area with a Jacuzzi and BBQ facilities. It is so nice to see many of the familiar faces still working the resort since we first visited 8 years ago. Bird Man at the front door and Zariyna at Concierge are always a pleasure to chat up. Housekeeping staff a very nice and do an excellent job. We cook most of our meals in the unit and the kitchen is well stocked and equipped for easy cooking and cleaning with a dishwasher. There is also a washer/dryer in unit. We love the many pools at Divi Village and we also love going to other nice pools at Divi Dutch, Divi Phoenix and Divi All Inclusive. We had fresh towels delivered and trash removed each day. They also did a full cleaning Monday and Thursday during our week's stay. Divi resorts have so much to do and we love going to different resorts for all kinds of nightly entertainment. Its also within walking distance to Druif Beach as well as popular Eagle Beach. We normally rent a car and travel to different beaches for snorkeling, swimming etc.Super Foods grocery is our favorite although Ling's Market is within walking distance. One word of advice is to check your bill very closely at time of check out. They tend to add on charges that you don't necessarily utilize. This happened twice during our 5 stays over the years. They fix it eventually, but please pay attention. Divi Management should also take note that billing system works accurately.…
Staff and service there was amazing and I couldn't ask for a more helpful concierge staff to help me plan my day to day activities. However, upon arriving into our room, every door handle lock was broken except for our main entrance door. We had to shower with something shutting the doors to make sure nobody would accidently enter the bathrooms. There was no towels, sponge and dish soap, stains everywhere, and a few other things. However, the staff there made it a little better. I'd give this place a solid 6.7/10
We booked 2 appartments, one for 3 weeks and the second for 4 weeks. Excellent service from frontdesk to housekeeping. This year we visited this resort for the 4th time and enjoyed our vacation from the first day. It´ s like coming home. We will certainly come back again.
