I have going to PLAYA Linda since 1989, and only gets better, their qualities: Communication, service, cleanliness accommodations, gym to exercise ,friendliness , food court by the beach, multiple restaurants .
Playa Linda is an exceptional vacation experience. The resort gives a sense of community and the staff are wonderful to deal with. Rooms are fantastic and spacious, and well kept by housekeeping. In particular, housekeeping supervisor Yolanda Roza and housekeeper Misnelly Rojas are outstanding at what they do and make you feel at home!
Playa Linda is conveniently located on Palm Beach. It is a small resort and so convenient. They have Bingo by the pool and aqua aerobics daily. The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. The bloody Mary's are the best on the island. The staff is super friendly and nice. The negative is having to get up at 5:00 AM to get a chickie either on the beach or at the pool but that is all over the island.
Playa linda has a great location in proximity to restaurants and shopping! The staff is friendly and attentive! We stayed in a studio which is great for two people. It has a little kitchen that we used for breakfast and lunch. They have new washers and dryers x the only negative is the chickie situation. There are guest that are at a specific chickie at 4:00 am. We went out at 6 and had to have the back row all week. If we went out earlier and picked a front row we would have been kicked out by the time share holders. They have their spots!
beautiful, well maintained time share property. staff friendly and accommodating. within walking distance of nearby restaurants, casinos and shopping. couldn't ask for a better place to stay. rooms well appointed and comfortable.
We definitely wouldn’t recommend a studio unit. They need to be updated. They’re old and dark and ruins the feel of staying at a tropical resort. We tried not to let it ruin our vacation but it’s hard when your taking a shower with a cracked floor that can easily cut your foot. First floor unit is also a negative factor. They emailed us that they were spraying our room for insects (while we were staying there!!?) if that needs to be done then do it in between the stays and not while someone is actually in the room with their luggage etc. and I also had small children with me. I told them to not come and that was only because I had seen the email they sent me. Can you imagine how many people don’t see that email and it gets done without them knowing. What are they thinking??
Absolutely love this place!! Constantly updating rooms, facility!.Super friendly staff, clean rooms. Great location. Fun for all ages. You never have to guess a weather, it’s always beautiful. Very accommodating. Management really care!
I have to take time to write a specific review about Jessie D. Arce who does security among other things at the resort. I would consider him the captain of the ship with anything by the beach/pool area. He is there every morning managing the coffee hut. It is piping hot and he keeps it flowing. At the same time, he is running the beach and pool spots. He has a system and it works. He knows every spot and goes above and beyond to help you set up for the day. Simply talk to him the first day you get there and ask him what to do. Every time I turned around Jessie was doing something else. This guy wears many hats, loves his job and helping people enjoy their stay. I did witness a couple people that tried to give him a hard time for no reason. He was professional with them and manged to deescalate the situations. like I said, he just has the captain of the ship vibe and keeps everything in order around there. I met a lovely old woman by the pool the first day I arrived. This woman was bound to a wheelchair and I witnessed something extraordinary during my stay. Jessie would change out of his security clothes into his bathing suit. He then proceeded to pick this woman up and carry her to the ocean so she could enjoy it on a daily basis. Where have you every seen that? Jessie is just one of those guys that goes the extra mile. It was good knowing he was there keeping everything in order and making sure you had a great vacation. I just wanted to take the time to recognize him.…
We had an amazing time. get a wrist band at the desk and you can get all over the property and even pay for drinks and food with it. Our room view was amazing from the balcony. There is free piping hot coffee right on the beach every morning and from 330-430pm. Get up early and I mean early (before 5 am) if you want a prime beach spot. But even if you wake up later you are still able to get pool or beach spots that are not that bad. The best part is you dont have to pay extra for the chickee spots like at other hotels. The guy that works the coffee hut and chickee spots (Jesse) Amazing. He goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing. I even saw him carry an old woman in a wheelchair out daily to get her some time in the ocean. there is an amazing italian restaurant right next to the pool for dinner. They also have a bar or you can order lunch. The main lobby has a bar that looks out on the pool as well. Check in and check out was fast and easy. They give you one towel per person a day and you can only exchange it once a day. This ended up being no big deal just dont loose your towel. Eduardos is literally next to the coffee hut which is steps from the pool. If you don't know then you better find out. There is two pools and a hot tub. One is adult only and the other is for families. Spend all day at the pool or beach just steps from your room. Then take a shower and walk out the front door of the hotel and you are right in the middle off tons of restaurants and shopping. It just doesn't get any easier for you. This hotel is busy but not so busy that you feel cramped or uncomfortable. The beach is also not too bad. If you look at other hotels like the marriott, they are just packed with people at the pools and the beach. This place feels just right. The best part about the hotel is they were working non stop on the property the whole week. The property is kept up very well. In the week I was there, they replaced the gym windows and door. Installed a new sidewalk in front of the coffee hut. Painted the outside of the hotel. Cleaned the pool every morning (pools were very clean compared to other hotels). Installed new handicapped covered chikees on the beach with decks underneath. This place is easy, relaxing, comfortable and close to everything. You can go wrong.…
Beautiful ocean front spacious condos for small or large groups. Playa Linda is a updated clean, well appointed timeshare. There are numerous restaurants and water activities all within walking distance from the property
