A perfect introduction to the Caribbean. We booked to celebrate a significant birthday, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We booked online, direct, which is always a bit of a worry, but our warm welcome from Tiquesha, our concierge made us feel instantly at home. Our cove suite, with balcony view was exceptionally comfortable. The views from the balcony with astonishing sunsets over Nevis and Pelicans soaring, skimming and crash diving over the ocean, were astonishing. The resort is beautifully landscaped and a tour with head gardener, John, is a must. Food is consistently good in all three restaurants, but our highlight was evening meals in the Reef, booking early for a sundowner, just magical. Beach days are easy with a wide choice of pools and three beaches and plentiful sun loungers. Thanks to Lauren and all the other staff for keeping us hydrated with plenty and drinks and fruit. All the staff were great making for one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed at. We were talking to another couple who have been coming back to Blue Waters every year for the past 16 years, which says it all. We thought this was going to be our only long haul flight and only visit to the Caribbean. Not so sure now.

Hotel's Favorite
We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Blue Waters Resort and Spa, our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Blue Waters was just as special and as beautiful as we remembered. The resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the food in the Palm and Cove restaurants was superb and so were the cocktails! We really appreciated the fast-track service on arrival, the taxi pick up and being greeted by Nicole with drinks and cold towels. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a 3 bedroom Cove Penthouse on an all-inclusive basis. The Penthouse was very spacious, well equipped and bright and modern with a huge balcony with breath-taking views of the ocean. It had the use of a shared pool which we very much enjoyed each afternoon. We loved the fact that you do not have to rush down in the morning to get a sun bed, this resort never feels busy and there are always plenty of free beds by the pool and beach. We very much enjoyed the service at Veronicas bar, and having our morning daily cocktails served to us on the beach. Nicole, was our concierge for the duration of our stay and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She took care of absolutely everything for us, booking restaurants, ensuring my youngest daughter who is a very fussy vegetarian was taken care of, and ensuring our fridge was restocked daily. She also made the booking of our boat trip before our arrival. The highlight of our holiday was a trip on the hotel’s newly acquired boat. We booked a 4 hour private charter and Owen, our Captain, was great company and made our day extremely memorable, nothing was too much trouble for him. The hotel packed us up a delicious lunch and put drinks on board. We swam at deserted beaches and enjoyed snorkelling at one of these beaches and on a lovely clear reef. What really makes this hotel so special are all the wonderful staff, far too many to mention individually. The staff in the restaurants get to know you by name, and know which drinks you will be ordering and you are always greeted with a smile. Kevin, the General Manager is always visible around the resort, chatting with guests and at times even showing people to their tables in the restaurants and helping move sun umbrellas! When we left Nicole and Kevin were there to see us off. We were all very sad to be leaving Blue Waters but we know that one day we will return to this incredible hotel.

My husband and I travelled to Blue Waters for our baby moon. We’re both avid travelers but neither of us are really resort people. That being said, we absolutely loved Blue Waters. The service, grounds, and offerings far exceeded many higher end hotels we’ve stayed at. So many staff knew our names just a day into our stay and went above and beyond. We enjoyed spending mornings at the pool at our villa and afternoons at the smaller, more private beach. Other guests were polite and quietly enjoyed themselves, no obnoxious speakers on the beach which was much appreciated. We were also really impressed by the wine selection offered across the resort restaurants, as well as the range of non-alcohol options. We will definitely be returning to Blue Waters!

If you are flicking through internet look at which resort to stay with in Antigua you can stop. Having stayed at other resorts in beautiful Antigua, Blue Waters is by far the best. It has a wonderful boutique feel, beautifully decorated and well maintained. To start, the overall quality of the resort is evident from the minute you arrive, Staff that are genuinely friendly and helpful, the place is spotless, the decor is tasteful throughout, its easy to see the managers and staff are proud of their resort. Often in my experience resorts tend to have a very mixed experience when it comes to dining, one higher end restaurant where you pay extra and then depleting scale down to the obligatory buffet restaurant. Not here at Blue Waters, The Palm buffet is amazing with fresh Tuna and a huge array of salads and dishes, on the night we ate there a barbecue with steaks, rib, chicken, fish, and shrimps was in full flow, truly tasty. All with a sea view. The Reef restaurant set on the sea and is great for lunch or dinner salads, flat breads, steaks, pasta the menu is varied and extensive with daily specials, We especially loved having lunch hear with a chilled glass of wine. The Cove is the higher end restaurant set end the end of resort near the beautiful Spa, we had dinner there twice, the food is wonderful, Lobster, steaks and conch fritters, the chef knows what he is doing. No silly extras if you have opted for the all inclusive option, which I would recommended. Plus live entertainment with a 4 piece band that felt like I was watching Sade live. The overall standard of food is excellent, prior to arriving at Blue Waters, we had stayed for 5 days in a beautiful villa at English Harbour, we found eating out both expensive and frankly disappointing in the 5 experiences we had, nothing terrible, yet noting exceptional, but all expensive. Non as good as any of the restaurants at Blue waters. Drinks and cocktails are of equally a high standard with a huge variety. Proper cocktails with proper ingredients no silly mixes here. The Pelican bar is a great place for a pre dinner drinks and to listen to live entertainment. An amazing steel band on one night relaxing piano and singing on another. Lots of places to sunbathe, multiple pools with waiters coming to ask if you would like a drink. Paradise. 4 hobbie cats to use and multiple canoes etc, not to mention teh gym which we did use. The gardens are exceptional, its like a botanical garden experience, someone loves their garden and it has been beautifully planned and manicured with a wide variety of trees and plants, flowers everywhere with tiny humming birds flitting between vibrant flowers. It must take a dedicated team to keep a garden to this standard. I could go on, but I hope if you read this you can see we are impressed by Blue Waters and we have been travelling and staying at resort for many years and this is somewhere special. It’s family owned and run and you can see the difference. The staff are both friendly and efficient, yes staff are trained to be friendly, but we can all tell when we are getting the standard smile, I have to say its just different here, the staff feel genuinely and happy which I think makes the biggest difference. Welldone to Kevin the manager and his team. Blue waters, I want to keep it a secret, a very unique place to relax. Stop clicking and just book it, you will be happy here. Thank you. We will be back very soon. Grant and Mandy

We just had a wonderful vacation at the Blue Waters and are already dreaming of going back! The resort is gorgeous, with beautiful grounds, lush tropical gardens, and colorful sunsets every evening. There are 3 different beach areas and multiple pools, so even though the resort was sold out during our visit, it never felt crowded and seating was always available. We stayed in the Cove Penthouse which was an absolute luxury, with loads of space and the most incredible views. The staff was warm and friendly across the board, and service was top notch. Special mention to Nicole, the concierge who came to check on our family every morning and make sure we had all we needed, and Amber who took care of our room, leaving plenty of fresh pool towels and accommodating any request. A highlight for us was a leisurely breakfast each morning at The Palm. There was a plentiful buffet, plus made to order options. Food at all three restaurants was great, plus there is a separate menu for room service, so you can have all meals on site during your stay and have plenty of variety. We chose the bed and breakfast option instead of full board since this was our first trip to Antigua and we wanted to explore the island a bit. However, next time we will happily stay put in this little piece of paradise! Thank you, Blue Waters team, for a fabulous experience!

We have visited Antigua several times and our favourite hotel to date is Carlisle Bay ,however we fancied a change and spent a week ay Blue Water. We were not disappointed. This is a beautiful hotel lovely gardens ,beaches rooms and food. The staff were without exception very friendly and went out of their way to add to our enjoyment. We joined in a garden tour by the head Gardner John who evidently loves his job .The grounds are full of exotic flowering shrubs and palms . The food at all three restaurants was excellent, the Cove is right on the seafront ,get there early for a spectacular sunset. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport making it an attractive destination for those like us wanting an escape from winter and a week in guaranteed sunshine. This hotel compares quite favourably to some of the best hotels in Barbados.

We have just returned from 10 nights at Blue Waters. The resort is set in a cove with a nice sandy beach and lovely gardens. Our room overlooked the beach and the ocean. The hotel has three restaurants all serving good quality food. Our favourites were The Reef for a lazy lunch and the Cove for the evening, both of them had good menus. We were on an All inclusive package and it was a nice surprise to see that there were no supplements for any food items. Our only small complaint was the choice of wine on the AI package was limited and not of the quality expected from the standard of hotel. The staff throughout the resort were very helpful and always happy to chat. It was also nice to see management around ensuring that guests were having a great holiday.

We had a really lovely experience at Blue Waters, especially thanks to Nicole and Kasim. Nicole worked with our very weird schedules and some tough weather to plan us an amazing day swimming with pigs on another beach. She was so attentive and always a wonderful presence on the resort. My family and I loved the beach, the beachfront restaurant and the game room for ping pong matches. We would have been happy without any concierge, but Nicole’s planning and Kasims availability to help us get around the island really put the experience over the top. Thanks everyone! Hope to come back soon.

Blue Waters is a delightful deluxe resort. This is our 10th holiday there and it was the best yet. All rooms are beachfront with great views. Rooms are very well appointed. They have three restaurants, all of which are excellent and distinctive. The thing that makes the place special are the staff - charming, well trained and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble.
