We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Friendly staff who were very attentive to our every need. First class water sports, hotel gardens, bars and dining at the two resort restaurants. There was also plenty of space for everyone on the beach or by the pools. After a few days most of the staff new our names which was a nice touch.
My wife and five-year-old son stayed at Blue Water. Great facilities, clean, high-quality service, and fun entertainment. Sometimes it's hard for a resort to accommodate kids and make a relaxing place for adults, but the setup works really well. Our son was itching to get to the kids club each morning to do fishing, shell painting and tie-dying, which meant mum and dad could take some time off to relax. Huge credit to the team that runs the kids club for making a welcoming and engaging place for kids. Jetski, island adventures, nearby restaurants, spa, boat trips. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended.
We have just returned from 10 days Ho,I day for our 30th Anniversary and have to say this was the best holiday experience we have ever had. The resort is in a gorgeous location and a real slice of paradise. Food is really good and varied but what made the holiday for us is the staff, they were all so friendly and professional and a credit to the hotel. The rooms are lovely, clean with great views over the ocean. We will be back..
We absolutely can not recommend this resort enough, it is beautiful. We couldn’t believe we were there! The resort, our room ( beach front deluxe), the food and most importantly the staff are amazing!! Special shout out to Kevin the manager, who checked we were enjoying our stay a couple of times and was really helpful. It is heaven x
Lovely hotel.. My friend got married 20 years ago he and recommended. It hasn’t aged and it didn’t disappoint at all. I would totally recommend this place Excellent welcome Well kept ground Nice room Great breakfast Lovely beach Definitely impressed Would go again
My husband and I stayed at this resort with our little boy for 11 nights in May/June 22. Our experience was mixed but overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the bedrooms (we stayed in the cove suite) were comfortable. However, all of the positives were outweighed by the negatives. Dining options: breakfast was ok but certainly not what you’d expect from a 5star hotel. For lunch, We ended up eating at Carolyn’s every day as our one (and only) time eating at Palms took nearly 2 hours!! Evening choice was limited. Given there were only 2 options we alternated each night. We found the Palm menu mostly uninspiring and our evenings eating there were more for necessity than enjoyment; the dessert options were extremely poor. the Cove was lovely and the only time we experienced service levels in line with a 5star resort. With the exception of The Cove, service was bad, even for the relaxed attitude of the Caribbean. It was common place for drink orders either to be forgotten, or take 20+ minutes. We also found the staff rude. Forgotten drinks round were never followed up with an apology, we were sometimes made to feel like an inconvenience when ordering drinks and the concierge service left a lot to be desired. That said, we did receive excellent service from the following people: Wingrove, Natalia, Jefferson, Nia and William. And a special shout out to Ainsley from the Kids Club as she really made our little boy’s holiday. Given the amount of money you spend travelling/staying to a resort like this you deserve a lot more.…
We have just landed back in London after 10 days at Blue Waters and had to share our experience. We travelled as a family of four (children aged 10 & 5) and all of us agree that we'd return in a heartbeat! The location is stunning!! I've hoenstly never seen a hotel's gardens so colourful and well kept. Huge shout out to all the groundsman who work so hard in blistering heat, it can't be easy keeping it looking so beautiful. It's the staff that really make this resort so special. Pretty much everyone knows your name from day 2, it's incredible!! Special mentions to - Gorgeous Daria the waitress, who would bring my daughter fresh flowers to put in her hair everyday at breakfast, after my daughter commented on her flowers, thank you for everything Daria! Quincy the barman, who makes a cocktail like no other! Lovely Wingrove, who looks after the Suite guests so well and manager Carla, who always looked out for us. The Cove Suites are really lovely and spacious, however may not be right for parents looking for 'privacy', as they are openplan so you all sleep in the same room. The food is lovely in all 3 restaurants, yes it can be a bit slow at times, but you quickly adjust to 'island time' and if anything it adds to the laidback, relaxed approach of the resort. Ainsley at the kids club won the children over immediately and they went there most afternoons. Activities were always varied and fun, they couldn't wait to go back. I honestly think you'd struggle to find another hotel on the island better than this!…
After reading all the glamorous reviews online, we decided to visit Blue Waters. We booked Cove all-inclusive with “consierge” service. The good The location is beautiful. The Cove villas have great views of the water. The rooms are spacious and clean. The private pool per villa is very clean and quiet. The bad Food is at best average. Breakfast is exactly the same every day with very limited options. Lunch was better at Carolyn’s than the Palm. Dinner at the Cove was the biggest joke. It is advertised as Michelin star restaurant. Any average restaurant chain has better food than this restaurant. The menu doesn’t change either. Dinner at the Palm was hit and miss but overall nothing exciting. Portions are small and if you request more food, you are ignored or looked at as though you are asking for too much (once again we had all inclusive purchased). The service The so called consierge did nothing other than book our dinner and ask if we needed anything for the room. The hotel manager preferred to only talk to UK guests - everyone else was completely ignored. Same was with the Manager of Palm. We asked about excursions available and the consierge literally asked us to go check a few folders on a desk - we asked for advice and were offered none. The service at the restaurants is very very slow. Only the team at Carolyn’s seemed to be more alert. Everyone else was in no rush. We decided that it might be a hotel strategy so that people do not get encouraged to order more. Overall a sub-par experience. The beach is very small. There was seaweed that nobody bothered to clean. The water smelled like rotten eggs in some areas when you stepped on something like clay.…
My husband and I visited Blue Water Resort and Spa in April, our agent recommended it to us, shout out to George @bushhilltravel. +442083506018 who like the staff at the resort went above and beyond our expectations. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Kevin the Manager he and his team couldn’t do enough for us. We were shown to our wonderful room which had a lovely view of the sea, the food in the Palm and the Cove Restaurant, and Carolyn's Bar Restaurant was excellent, we even had waiter service for our hot breakfast which was great, my husband can be a bit fussy at times but the staff were great and always got our order right, nothing was ever to much trouble. Would definitely recommend both the agent who booked as well as the resort. 5 stars all the way!
My husband and I visited Blue Water Resort and Spa from the 3rd May until the 12th May, when we arrived we had a lovely welcome by Kevin the Manager and was shown to a lovely room with a view of the sea, the food in the Palm and the Cove Restaurant, and Carolyn's Bar Restaurant was excellent as was all the staff, we even had waitress service for our hot breakfast which we appreciated very much, we had a great stay and we will definitely be going back.
