Just finished a magical stay at Jumby Bay Island and it exceeded every expectation. I'm fortunate to have visited some of the best hotels in the world and I can honestly say Jumby is probably my favorite. The beauty of the place is matched by the staff who elevate the experience to the next level. Due to all the safety measures in place Jumby Bay is one of the safest places you can visit today. If you can afford it I urge you to do so. It's an experience you will remember for the rest of your life. Thank you Jumby from HS. Room 21.

Jumby Bay, a very high- end resort, has much to recommend it for the luxury traveler. Our Ocean Front room was beautifully decorated, with a sleek contemporary look, and big wonderful bathroom. It also had a large patio with comfortable lounge chairs and table. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The polite and friendly staff was most accommodating to every request. The beach is white sand and the water clear and calm for easy swimming. All day long beach servers walked up and down the beach offering delicious snacks and beverages. The swimming pool at the beach is lovely, but often was busy with children who were staying at the luxury homes on the island. A fun expedition is the free boat tour of the private homes around the island. The only negative at the resort to us is that when sitting on the beach, the view across the bay is of the airport. For us this very much took away that wonderful feeling we hoped for of being far away in a special location. We did not like the constant visual reminder that home and the real world were staring us in the face. For this reason-and this reason only, we will probably not return.

An ideal getaway. Private beaches, beautiful landscaping. Great restaurants, a spa. Private pools and a boat to get there. Fantastic. Not cheap but as private and as spoiled as one could ever be. Truly the most beautiful spot in the Caribbean.

Exemplary service standards prevalent throughout with just the right mix of professionalism with warmth and friendly welcome, making for an extremely relaxing overall atmosphere. All the line managers were on top of their game setting a strong example for all service staff and a credit top management at the resort. Whilst there are many people to thank for making our recent holiday experience so wonderful, special mention must be made for Kaya the food and beverage director whose in depth knowledge, charm and wit was evident wherever we ate. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and my wife and I were made to feel very special. Overall, this island hotel is a match for some of the best establishments in New York/London or Paris. As with all things that are really good, it is much easier to pick on a couple of weaknesses that would have further improved our experience: 1. Matching guest players for tennis, both singles and more likely doubles, and maybe a weekly resort tournament. 2. More imagination for the BBQ and a better vibe at the weekly Caribbean night. 3. General upgrade of the Rondavel rooms. This resort is a must visit if possible and undoubtable the best hotel in the Caribbean and to think that it could be even better, what an opportunity! A special thank you to everyone involved.

This was our first visit since Jumby changed from being managed by Rosewood to an Oetker Collection hotel, and on the whole we were impressed. Some rooms have been refurbished and are now brighter and even more luxurious. There have have also been some improvements in food and wine offered in the various restaurants. Maybe the only criticism is the servicing of rooms which seems to be very over-complicated and lending itself to items being missed out on a daily basis. But I am sure this is just a case of a management teething problem though.
