Stayed here recently with my sister and brother-in-law with groupon vouchers, one for 2 nights' bed and breakfast, and evening meal and bottle of wine. The other voucher was for afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco which was absolutely delicious, Because my husband and I both had mobility problems, the hotel very kindly gave us a fantastic room on...

Thoroughly enjoyed evening meal and recent stay at Maes Manor. Would highly recommend the scallops with black pudding starter and the crispy sea bass was cooked to perfection. Was worth the wait for the individually cooked breakfasts as they were also one of the best we have had.

Having been to Maes Manor numerous times at new year and enjoyed it we have just been served the worst meal ever!!Having paid 75 pounds per person we expected a reasonably good meal. The meal was inedible. The vegetables and meat very poor quality. Will not be returning.

We very recently booked rooms for one night and we would definitely go again. Maes Manor is a beautiful building set in impressive grounds and approached by a long drive. Views from one of the rooms we booked were fabulous. Dinner in the evening was excellent. Some people might not like the fact that the showers are not thermostatically controlled...

Mixed feelings about this hotel. It is situated in a lovely setting and from the outside looks wonderful. The public areas were very dark but as far as I could tell clean. Our room was very dated with frayed towels and bedding, and the shower was useless either freezing or scalding. Again though the room was spotless and for 2...

I bought a voucher from Groupon for the afternoon tea. It was the best afternoon tea I've ever had. Neither my friend and I had the mulled wine so we were given a glass of orange juice each, a big bottle of water and unlimited hot drinks. The cakes and sandwiches were lovely. The staff were so attentive and friendly....
