The grounds were absolutely amazing. Food was good. Only negative was that the rooms need an upgrade. Staff were all very helpful. Rooms are down the back away from the beautiful building you see in photos. Kids loved running around the lovely gardens.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the Manor House looks great from the outside. Inside the place was a bit tired looking and needed a bit of work. We stayed in the outside guest house and the rooms were a bit quirky with the door to the room being directly out of the car park. The rooms were... More

We stayed for two days in this charming country house type hotel situated in a beautiful location with easy access to the tourist spots. Our room was stunning with a splendid view of the garden and had all the facilities you could want including Wi-Fi and the rest of the hotel was equally luxurious. The staff were friendly and helpful,... More

Although our room was acceptable with a view of ventilation system and flat roof the decor was looking tired and needed some TLC. Breakfast was disorganised and verging on chaotic food on buffet was barely cooked.Lovely grounds and comfortable bed

The setting is lovely but the food and service is awful. Drinks very expensive. Staff very young and inexperienced. I attended a family gathering. The hosts were both annoyed and embarrassed at the lack of food served and extremely poor service.

It's a lovely setting, with a great building and a nice garden. Quiet room and fine for staying in whilst on a work trip. I liked the food as well, though I'm not much of a foodie. But not all perfect: the rooms needed some attention. My bedside light had no lightbulb, one of the wall sockets didn't work properly,... More
