This was our first trip to Nicaragua but for certain it will not be our last. We first saw this on TripAdvisory & knew this was place we wanted to see. Our two night stay turned into 8. Stacy & Mike made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived as did the entire staff. The horseback riding, the night...

All though we did not spend the night at Redwood Beach Resort, we most certainly enjoyed a fantastic dinner there. On our way to visit our friends property on the beach, we decided to stop by and check out RBR for some food and drinks. We both shared the most delicious red snapper with a side of ceviche. It was...

RBR is what you find at the end of the road in Nicaragua - not every road but one very special one. We found our relaxation groove at Redwood Beach to the point we decided to cancel a kayaking outing to settle deeper into our bliss (and books). If I were to go back I would do the horseback adventure...

My wife, Judy, and I took two grandsons (18 and 20) to Redwood for a week over the 2013 Christmas/New Year's holidays. There are few adequate words to really express our thoughts about how outstanding the resort, staff, people and environment was. This was the real first international trip for the two boys and our Redwood hosts, Mike and Stacey...

I am still overwhelmed by the incredible experience that my wife and I had at the Redwood Beach Resort on Christmas week! Here's just a few of the things that set this resort apart from ALL of the others: Stacy and Mike are the consummate owner pair... gracious, knowledgable and willing to go as many extra miles that it take...

My wife and I returned to Redwood Beach Resort for the second time after two years and it was just like the first. Nothing has changed, which is what we had hoped for. They have added the turtle farm to care for turtle eggs until the hatchlings are ready to make the treacherous journey down the beach to the ocean....

This is not just a hotel but an experience! Stacy & Mike are unforgettable hosts. The beach is pure bliss. So isolated & untouched that I literally got lost (in a good way) while doing a run on the beach. Everything is so peaceful - kayaking in the mangroves, horseback riding (actually swimming) through a marshland - except the peals...

Stacy and Mike are fantastic hosts, their resort has all the amenities you could possibly need and the location is perfect for rest and relaxation. If you are looking for a beautiful, intertesting, secluded and perfectly laid back place in Central America, you would be hard pressed to do better than Redwood Beach Resort.
