I have read reviews slating the TUI rep at this hotel and I would like to pass on my views based on our families personal experience. Bethan was informative, knowledgeable and extremely helpful when my daughter needed medical assistance for 60+ mosquito bites (stay off the beach during sunrise to avoid this happening to you!) She quickly arranged for us to be collected and taken to a medical centre and my daughter was put on a drip to avoid the bites becoming infected - it worked a treat and she has been very visible throughout our stay, walking around the pool area, checking if we had any issues, advising us on buses, restaurants etc. I cannot fault her, she is a TUI Gem! The animation team also work tirelessly and are great and a special mention to the lady who makes the fresh omelettes - she's lovely! Spa was great, thanks Robbie for sorting a great deal for us. The food was plentiful but after 2 weeks was very repetitive, but a dolmush is only 7.5TLY each and stops straight outside of the hotel and you can get Turkish Kebab's in Altinkum for £1. We have noticed that fake prices are a lot ore expensive this year, but Turkish cost of living rise is currently over 60%, so it is to be expected. You can still haggle!! Speak to Bethan for restaurant recommendations if you fancy a change of food - we did FamilyDoor Steak House, not cheap by Turkey standards but food was delicious and service fab too. Bethan the TUI rep can arrange for you to be picked up and dropped back off too. if you want a good fake watch go to Jesus's watch shop in Altinkum, not cheap but fabulous quality, nip through the back of his shop and visit M&T clothing, ask for Ayaan for the best quality fake clothes - tell then Gary sent you, I'm sure you'll get a discount! The mozzies are out in force and I have sprayed myself with jungle formula religiously but have still been bitten, take an after bite stick with you as the medication I bought from the chemists wasn't very effective. Last mention is for Muslim in the on site jewlers, he used to be at Palm Wings and has previously made me an gold and diamond eternity ring, this time he made me a bespoke necklace using stones from my grandmas's eternity ring - absolute gentleman, great quality gold and silver.

We are just finishing our fantastic holiday, with my 13 years old son, we had a really great time!!! about the hotel - a room cleaned every day, a lot of space, a mini fridge with soft drinks, a bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer, also a lot of space. The view from the balcony is amazing! food very good, everyone can find something for themselves, only the night meal was poor where there is almost nothing to choose from except pasta, rolls, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers and for a five-star hotel there should be more and maybe there should be some sandwiches in the lobby bar, drinks sometimes not good but most of the time was ok, especially in the lobby bar, great service at the lobby bar, Zorbey, Melis, Ilgin Ogulcan very professional! all hotel staff work really hard, pool is absolutely amazing, Evening Entertainment is really nice always something to watch, and after is bingo game or live music, we had Foam party one night and was absolutely Fantastic!!! the best thing about the hotel is of course the Entertainment team! They work very hard and try to make everyone have a great time during the day and evening, special thanks to Suzana, Rebeca, Bora, Rio, Bobby and David from entertainment team, always happy and full of energy, always taking care of us make sure we have a great time! And of course thanks for Billy the Boss for running the evening show and look after Entertainment team really well ! Would I come back to this hotel? Surely Yes! Thank you Guys for making our holiday special!

This was our 5th visit to Venosa and didn’t disappoint, in fact possibly the best visit. We arrived and was given room 1701 A which was incredible with a huge balcony. The food has definitely improved and didn’t struggle to find something nice to eat every meal time . We sat in the outside non smoking area at meal times and had the best waiter ever Mustafa !!! . He always went the extra mile to make sure his guests were happy and had everything they needed . The staff across the hotel were all very good as well as the animation team but Bizzy stood out as areal enterainer. If your considering going here it won’t disappoint and we’ll be back again !!

We travelled in July 22 for 10 days, we have two children aged 16 and 13. Clientele was mainly Turkish, Russian and French which made it difficult for children to make friends as no other English families there. Mainly Turkish, Russian and French. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms large and the views lovely - overlooking the pool and the beach. The pool is huge, so never feels over crowded and inflatables and games in the pool are permitted and not a problem. Water slides small but fast. Utter mayhem though as not staffed, so kids landing on each other as not waiting until clear. If you enjoy loud music being played this is the hotel for you, it is blasted out at full volume all day long. The entertainment wasn't our thing, so cannot comment, but the entertainment staff were all super friendly. The beach and jetty are lovely. Sunbeds are easier to get at the beach but also run out in the shade if you are late risers. The sea is not clear and the water is choppy due to the winds. Water sports so expensive. 50 Euro for 10 mins on jet ski to give you an idea. On arrival we were given 2 double rooms with double beds on separate floors. We had a late night arrival and this was a pain. They kept us waiting ages whilst they tried to resolve the situation. It didn't get resolved until the following day. If you are a family make it clear on booking you need rooms together. The food really was poor, we have stayed in other all inclusive hotels and this was by far the worst. Lots of stewed meat and fish dishes, no pastries at breakfast, very little variety and anything grilled was over cooked, dry and inedible. The salad selection was good HOWEVER the flies are ALL OVER the food, there are no covers on the cheese, meats, salad, fruit and deserts and flies feast. Presentation was also poor with lots of spillage everywhere. After 10 days we were bored with the food, it does not changed. Deserts are all the same but with a different flavour - a sponge type cake with a different topping. The Italian Al carte was APPALLING Service and food was very poor, food was already on the table when we arrived and was limp and dry from being in the sun. Service slow - took 40 minutes to get a drink Waiters do not speak English or understand which makes it hard to communicate. Appreciate we are in Turkey and my Turkish wasn't great, but generally in TUI hotels English is understood by staff. The Turkish Al carte was really good, lovely location overlooking the sea, great service, lovely food - the complete opposite of the Italian. Snacks are also really poor in comparison to other TUI hotels - you have burnt Churro's at the pool for 30 minutes and the queue is insane. Ice cream in the afternoon and a small selection of cakes in the main lobby. Also Turkish pancakes (Savoury) but the queue was always too long and by the time you got to front, all gone. No waffles or crepes. Service isn't great either, very slow - most eves we had finished our meal before being served. Drinks warm and when you ask for ice you are told to go to the bar. Snack bar is all fried food or salad - poor. Drinks - the usual selection but the quality of service was so dire, drinks are not stored in fridges but left on the side for the staff to access, so all drinks are warm and ice melts instantly - so warm drinks. Staff really don't care regarding the quality of the drink served, cocktails all tasted the same and fizzy drinks were mainly flat. Service is also slow with long queues. SUNBEDS This was an absolute joke, people had secured beds as early as 5am and it was permitted. If you don't secure a sun bed by 6.30/7am you simply won't get one for the entire day. You have a choice of a sunbed in the shade all day or the sun all day, there is no room to move the sunbed, so people reserve multiple beds and keep towels on them all day. This was so frustrating. We reported this to the hotel and the rep and nothing could be done. Also bear in mind that the sun is blocked by the hotel, so shady areas becomes sunny areas and there is nowhere to move to - empty beds all around the pool but they are all reserved. Beach towels are tiny - bring your own. The sunbeds are dirty and stained as the towels only cover a 1/4 of the bed. Sewage smell in bathrooms - due to the mess up with rooms and being moved, we saw 6 rooms - everyone stank of sewage in the bathroom. The rep told me it was due to the weather being so windy - nothing could be done to remedy the situation, the hotel did try - i don't believe we were unlucky enough to be the only family that experienced this. It really did stink. Snacks - the highlight of my sons holiday is the free access to snacks - this was poor at this hotel. Disappointing. The resort is windy but this was welcomed in the heat - impossible to be on your balcony some days though due to high winds. The plastic use is also scary, this hotel does nothing to avoid plastic use or recycle - water in small plastic cups with straws, drinks serviced with straws that are wrapped in plastic and cups used by pool thrown in bins and water warm as the fridges cannot keep up with demand - no attempt to recycle. Turkish bath and massage was an experience - nice enough. (£45) The holiday felt like hard work with the sun beds, poor service and poor food - we had expected more from a Platinum TUI property. This is a 3 star at the most, not 4. We enjoyed the sunshine and i loved afternoons sunbathing on the pier - lovely and quiet and cool due to the winds. We did take a cab into the local town and this was nice and easy - the rep organised for the restaurant called 'The Eden' to collect us and bring us back, we had time to look around too. (Family of 4 around £100 to eat out). We would not return to this hotel. It was really disappointing and it has put us off all inclusive packages - the sunbed stress was the final straw.
