Cracking little place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tucked up the corner of a nice little cul-de-sac so no immediate passing traffic. Hosts were very pleasant and breakfast spot on. Bravo!

A lovely place to stay with a very welcoming host. I usually book Premier Inns but get fed up with beige corridors and rooms so decided on a different approach. I will be booking more B&B’s in future that are much more personal. Lovely quiet location, great room and bathroom and a superb breakfast. Thank you.

This B&B was the first in my search to come up trumps with accommodation for a 2 night trip to Dartmouth. Chris greeted us with a friendly, laid-back, welcome, showed us to our room (No.1) & explained how to work the tv. Fairholme has good free parking, is spotlessly clean and Shirley is an efficient and perfect hostess at breakfast - so many options too, spoilt for choice. The breakfast room doubled as a lounge in which to sit & relax with a drink whilst reading a book, perhaps. Chris mentioned our room was on the small side & indeed it was - more rotund guests might find it a little tight, for us it was absolutely fine. A good find in an easy location closer to Blackpool Sands than Dartmouth. A busy Park & Ride at £5 is close by BUT free parking for 2hrs, if you can find a space, is available down Dartmouth's main drag. What's not to enjoy? Try it and see for yourself.…

We had a lovely Christmas time in the Fairholme Apartment with sea view. The apartment itself is spacious, very clean and well maintained. It is just 20 minutes walk to the beautiful Blackpool Sands beach, 1 hour to the Dartmouth Castle following the South West Coast Path and around 1 hour to the beautiful Slapton Sands beach. Area is very nice for walkers. Highly recommended :)

Four of us spent 4 nights at this excellent B&B, professionally and successfully run by Chris and Shirley who looked after our every need. Peaceful and quiet, this charming extended bungalow was an ideal spot to explore the delights of this corner of Devon. The rooms are small, but adequate and comfortable – particularly as we are more oversized than petite! Everything worked, the rooms were very well presented and the breakfast options were sufficient to satisfy most tastes and very well cooked if that was your preference. Good value, good people, good accommodation – what’s not to like!

This property is located on a housing estate a couple of miles out of Dartmouth and a little walk out of the centre of Stoke Fleming. Whilst a walk to the local village was doable it would have been unsafe to try and walk into Dartmouth down narrow lanes with no footpath in my opinion and parking in Dartmouth is difficult with no bus service offered in the evening whilst we visited. Breakfast was fine and our hostess was trying to meet the social distancing guidelines.

Although I had booked a twin room as a single traveller I was given a very comfortable double with a good shower ensuite as I was the only guest for the night. Warm welcome and spotlessly clean. Very well appointed room with excellent range of beverages and nice biscuits. Menu for breakfast left in the room so I was looking forward to my smoked salmon and scrambled egg as I went to sleep! As well as a full cooked range of food, there are plenty of cereals to choose from, yoghurts and fruit which I always enjoy. Very pleasant outlook from conservatory which will only get better as the spring gets under way. The B&B is easy to find on the way in to Stoke Fleming which has a good little shop and post office. Not far from Blackpool Sands which is a fabulous, clean beach. I'd definitely be happy to stay here again.…

A very welcoming reception by chris and shirley. Fab double bedroom with en suite, excellent shower. All compact but with a comfy lounge area in conservatory and gorgeous garden. Hosts have worked hard to provide all guests needs and the breakfast is delicious. Great value and convenient location with parking on site. Highly recommended.

Chris was extremely helpful as we could not find the premises. Room was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and even with a small bathroom more than adequate. The area is charming and this is a good destination to explore the South Devon coast. Breakfast was excellent and nothing could be faulted.
