Great stay. Boutique hotel with friendly staff. Visit the shops, antiques, specialty and novel! Have a drink on the front balcony...eat in the restaurant below. Feel what it would have been like when stage coaches visited in yesteryear. Lovely. Simple, but very relaxing.

The Auberge is a really nice boutique hotel in the center of the village of Knowlton. It's only steps from the other eateries and shops. The management and staff are comfortable in either English or French. The room was clean and comfortable. If there is a drawback it would be that the rooms are all up several flights of stairs.... Auberge and surroundings are great , small quiet village. Clean room, but the amenities in the room are bare minimum for the price you pay. Great Wi-Fi, dinner / breakfast at the restaurant was excellent.

Thank you very much for your comments. Must admit, however, that we are a bit confused about your feeling about the amenities. Perhaps you could give us more detail and if we can improve our offering, we certainly will. More

Excellent hotel! The room was comfortable and the staff made us feel so welcome. They were very helpful and so friendly. The hotel is in a great location. It is very close to the boutique shopping and restaurants. We dined at the restaurant attached to the hotel and had a great experience. The food was delicious!!! There is also a... More

On December 1, 2015 I made a reservation with Brian, the Inn Manager at the Knowlton Inn for the night of Friday, December 4, 2015, as my brother and I were attending a family function in Knowlton the following day. As I had no hard copy of the confirmation for this reservation, I called Brian back a few moments later... More

I stayed in this hotel during a 5 day bicycling trip from Montreal to Quebec City. It is quaint but the restaurant is very good. Very helpful staff and excellent escargot in garlic butter. No conveniences like a coffee maker for hot water and tea in the room but the owner actually made a small pot of water for tea... More

By a rainy night we arrived and were quite disapointed. The room was very small and dusty with a very small lumpy bed. Dinner was just as disapointing, all tthe had on the menu was duck, duck and duck! Service was very long and the soup, good but cold. At the reception desk, service was awful, my husband had to... We are so very sorry that you had a disappointing experience with us. It is quite unusual as most of our guests enjoy themselves here. We take pride in our service and if it was a bit slow at the reception, there must have been some extenuating circumstances as we live in the building and are available 24/7. Some of... More

It was a long drive from Toronto yesterday, but oh so worth it! This delightful, historic stagecoach inn is everything it professes to be and then some! We had the great pleasure of sharing a glass of wine with the innkeepers and their daughter on the covered terrace. Lovely room in period decor with very comfortable bed. Dinner at Le... More
