There are many pubs to choose from before or after your visit to Kew Gardens. The Coach and Horses might not be on your radar but after significant and extensive testing of all the pubs around Kew Green it is the definitive choice for the authentic English pub feel. One day during the Christmas 2016 break, the family (over from...

Our first 2 night stay in this most welcoming of hotels. A winning combination of location, comfortable bedroom, good breakfast/relaxed dinner, atmospheric bar & engaging staff means we will return! A lot of thought has gone into the decor & facilities (including Nespresso in each room) which really enhanced our stay.

One night stay in the Coach & Horses during December in a ‘Boutique Superior Double Room’ with breakfast included; our room was on the 1st floor looking-out over Antony Worrall Thompson’s ‘Kew Grill’ restaurant, the room was clean and quiet, not large but more than adequate for a one-night stay. Breakfast was part-buffet style and part-waitress service – again nothing...

Stayed over for 2 nights for my daughters wedding and chose this hotel because it is so near to Cambridge Cottage where the wedding was taking place. Nice comfortable rooms and food good (better than average pub food) Rooms quiet and nice breakfast included in the price. Customer service not great though, the TV not working in the room and...

What a find! A great English pub complete with wood fire and a soccer game discretely playing for those who were interested! We visited on a wet day and throughly enjoyed our visit. The Sunday roasts were enjoyed by two in our party and the food overall was rated highly. We wished we had found this before we spent NYE...

Everything was perfect. Accommodation,Staff, Food.Ambiance. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms, recently refurbished are brilliant. Well appointed. Lovely colour and furnishing scheme. A nice "hamper" of goodies. Some for sale but others, the usual freebies. Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus. Good shower with nice soaps etc. Very comfortable bed and sheets. The food was very good but...

I stayed here for my wedding anniversary and would highly recommend it as a place to stay. It is within walking distance of Kew Gardens which is also worth a visit for the Christmas at Kew event. It is also within walking distance of some lovely pubs on the river and on the green. We booked a boutique double room...

It should have been a lovely ending to a Family Christmas Eve gathering, following the Nativity Service at the nearby Church. Sadly, the appalling food and indifferent service made for a very different experience. My steak hache burger arrived lukewarm and full of gristle; my son's meal was equally unappetising. We ate because we were hungry and our party was...

Lovely hotel and good location for a visit to Kew Gardens. All straight forward in terms of booking in etc. Car park to rear is very handy but a squeeze to get in via the streets which a narrow with cars parked on both sides! Room is well designed with nice little personal touches. Only criticism was the fire pit...

Dear mrnlchan Thank you for this review and high score. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the hotel and the location. If you were to return to the hotel in the future you are more than welcome to use the underground car park. Thank you for also making us aware of the smoke smell from...
