Peaceful environment with a great view and private Beach. Staff was great and polite. Wonderful spread for breakfast daily with many varieties. Location is easy to find and 15 to 20min away from the airport. There is a convenience store right opposite the hotel.
Very friendly staff and excellent food. Breakfast buffet was good and had a variety of fresh and local produce. The pool bar have a good level of atmosphere with music playing at a reasonable level. Rooms we’re okay, beds are hard but cleaned everyday. A good place to stay if you want to switch off and not after the party scene. We visited the hotel spa which was excellent 👌🏻 And booked a horse riding experience via the travel desk.
Who is looking for a nice Balnesien Resort in Nusa Dua is right in the Bali Tropic Resort and Spa. The Resort had a beautiful beach area and some nice Restaurants. The rooms are big enough for two people. Our room had a bath tube and a shower, a nice balcony and a big bed with a moskitonet. The room was cleaned every day.
I spent a week at this resort with a couple in Jan for a week. Treated with utmost courtesy at the check-in and excellent follow-up and courtesy of the GRO Rahayu. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the names of the charming, courteous ladiies at the restaurant. Excellent buffet. Beach not the greatest..but a great relaxing week. Longing to re-visit.
First of all let me start by saying ignore the bad reviews , i'm not even sure if those people stayed in the same hotel... We stayed for an amazing 3 weeks ( wish it was longer ) . Check in quick after a very long flight from the UK . A cold flannel and welcome drink and our cases whizzed off to our room . We were taken to our room and WOW! immaculate , and decorated in typical Balinese style . Fresh fruit , fresh flowers and brilliant A/C . 24 hour AI so we headed off to the Soka for food and drinks . Good food and good drinks. Buffet restaurant Ratna was good , always something for everyone ( even the Pizza and chips brigade ) never made breakfast so can't review what it was like . Didn't eat at Cempaka so once again can't review. Plenty of bars server good cocktails and good soft and alcoholic drinks. The beach is nice , but tidal so sometimes couldn't swim but could always cool down. My only bug bear are there are not enough ashtrays for the people that smoke and the beach is littered with filthy cigarette ends , disgusting. All new Sun lounger cushions which look really nice and are super comfy! Plenty of beach shades which is a good thing as it was too hot to lay directly in the sun but we both are super tan and didn't burn. Our room was in a perfect position for walking and not far from anything. Didn't go to the pool , not a fan of swim up bars where people seem to sit and drink for hours s and surprisingly never leave to go to the bathroom. Gardens immaculate , the staff work so hard so keep it looking nice. A shop downstairs in the lobby bar for gifts etc, but there is a Supermarket opposite outside and the very nice guards will stop the traffic for you to cross the road. Now the staff... the management should be proud as they are ALL super friendly , always a smile and a greeting . Nothing is too much trouble . They dress immaculately , so nice. They remembered our drinks , especially mine as i drink Gin & Soda , got a few puzzled looks at first but when we explained i wanted it mixed not separate all was fine , and i hardly ever had to ask again , they knew . Free shuttle bus to the Bali Collection , just ask at reception . My husband was a huge fan of the Spa, he went lots of times for a massage and facials , such great value for money too. Lots of restaurants outside , we visited the Royal Orchid a few times , they did the most amazing Lobster ! yum! 2 courses and drinks for around £20 for two , can't beat that . Will finish by thanking EVERYONE for making out holiday amazing , we will be back and are looking at flights for October. Terima kasih banyak ! Dawn & Steve x…
