We stayed at the Grand Mirage with our two children (3 and 1) in the family wing, while my parent’s stayed in the main hotel. From a kids perspective the hotel is fantastic, they have thought about everything to make the experience great including a good kids club with soft playground, water park, great daily kids club activities and plastic plates, bibs at breakfast time. We stayed in the kids suite which was great, really modern and bright, our kids loved the bunk beds. From an adult point of view, the renovations going on meant resort did not have a relaxing feel. The hoarding around the main pool makes you feel boxed in and blocks the view of the beach from the pool. The food was so expensive and mediocre. $7 for a kids breakfast and $8 for a bowl of rice at the Indian restaurant, ridiculous! If you have young kids then it’s a good place to stay but otherwise there are definitely better resorts (better priced too) to choose in Bali.

Our resort keep our food and beverage standard high by selecting high quality ingredients and renewing our hygiene certificate, while, outside restaurants do not really focus on those details. Our group of 5 ladies stayed 3 days and decided on the All inclusive package. What a fantastic resort, from check in to check out it felt like we were Queens. All of the staff are a true credit to the resort, always happy greeting you with a beautiful smile and would do anything to make your stay Perfect. I was solo occupant in my room WOW we all had Ocean View room and they are Huge. Heaps of storage space, so very clean and the view is beautuful. The bathroom is a very good size, separate shower from bath all the amenities you need. Even bathrobes. Breakfast is over the top, not just your normal buffet you also get international selections, fresh juuce bar and so much more. The pool area is great, swim up bar was a favourite of ours and again the staff very attentive. Options available for All inclusive are wonderful so many choices of places to eat. Non motorised water sports included and the staff on beach are great helping to teach you windsurfing or SUP, there is motorised sports at a cost. Resort is currently doing renovations around pool area but honestly doesn't effect your holiday, we all recieved a bottle of wine apologising for the renos..When finished it is going to be amazing, can't wait to book again. If you get a chance the seafood buffet night on beach is wonderful Highly recommend this resort

Unfortunately we were really disappointed with our stay. My husband, myself and my 5 month old travelled to Bali for my 30th, and had we known that major renovations were going on we either would have rebooked for other dates or not paid for the upgrade to the ocean view. We couldn’t sit out on the balcony or have the doors open due to the constant drilling from the pool upgrade from 8am into the night.. 10pm onwards. This completely tarnished sitting outside by the pool and also having dinner at night. When I spoke to the duty manager Diki, he advised it was an outside project manager and they didn’t give us much information on why the drilling was going into the late evening and what time it would stop, this made it extremely difficult for us to settle my baby to bed each evening. I understand renovations needed to happen and fully support these happening in the day however for guests paying thousands of dollars to stay a break from the drilling from 6pm onwards when people are trying to enjoy dinner and go to bed would be much more beneficial for the guests. However the vibe I got from the duty manager was that they don’t really care. On top of this, the shower pressure in the room was shocking, it dripped out and took around 5 minutes to warm up, I’d have to run the water well before hopping in to have a semi decent shower. I have gone through our travel agent to request the difference in the upgrade we paid for for a standard room because we probably would have been better off in a garden room as the sound wouldn’t have travelled so much and we couldn’t enjoy the views anyway. Other then that, food was great, cocktails on the all inclusive list aren’t fantastic, mostly made up of liquers, the only beer on the menu was Bali Hai. Personally I don’t think the drinks was worth it on the gold package but I can’t fault the food. I am currently waiting to hear back regarding the compensation which was made over a week ago

It was our first solo trip as family of 5. Spent 5 wonderful days in Grand Mirage Bali, describing this magnificent place is beyond words, the beach, beautiful sunrise and most specially to all the staff. Salute to all courteous, warm, helpful and attentive people who assisted us all through out our stay. We had our renewal of vows, which could’nt be possible without the help of Ratna and Felix (wedding coordinator). It was the highlight of our holiday being 10 years as couple. From the airport transfer to housekeeping and F&B. We booked for gold all inclusive package, it was all worth it. Everything was just awesome!!! Food was great. Though there was ongoing renovation, it did’nt made our stay inconvenient. For families who want to have the most relaxing bond with their little ones, I highly recommend this place. We will definitely come again, soon!

Our grand kids had a great time. With all of the activities and all you can drink and eat, they thoroughly enjoyed their holiday. From an adult perspective the package could be tweeted to include premium drinks in the package, or offer a premium gold package including bottled wine and premium spirits at an additional cost. The resort has some building works, but generally the staff and food were excellent. The resort is in two sections, about 500 mths apart and not internally connected. You either walk on the street or beach pathway. Our son & daughters families stayed in the family rooms whilst we stayed in the grand resort section. The rooms were big and comfortable. The breakfast in the grand resort was average, often there was no bake beans, tomatoes, ham etc. so we rate their breakfast at a 5/10. Poached eggs took ages to get. But the coffee was great.
