I booked a room for 3 nights in this hotel for my parents that travel by themself for their second honeymoon but they only stay for 1 night, because the room is so different with the picture. They get small room with no terrace and no hot water. They move them to other room that bigger but no air conditioner. It like killing to be at the beach without air conditioner at all. So my parents decide to back to the first room so at least they can sleep. Both of my parent get cold and headache that night and can't have a shower. I call the hotel because worried about my parents and talk to the reception Delvin, I told him that my parents will be check out early morning because the hotel so uncomfortable and 100 percent different with the picture that made me book the hotel for them. I ask Delvin to refund our money in cash and he agreed at the night by phone.BUT.... at the time we check out they made up a lot of reason to refund the money in cash, and end up to refund by our local bank without any specific time when we will got our money. This experience is the worst and I feel sad that my parents can't enjoy their holiday and became sick at Bali. I strongly not recommended this hotel for anyone. This hotel is not 4 star hotel at all, it is located in very small street and hard to find.…

These rooms are a little out of the way, but if you are wanting to relax in style then this is the place. Very small complex and you are made to feel very special. This hotel is located right on the beach where all the water activities take place in Tanjung Benoa. It is great to sit on the balcony and just watch it all happening. Great for family with kids because of the room, but there are no kids activities - so keep this in mind.

I gave Segara Suites 2 stars. But one if them was purely for value as they cost 1/3 of the rate of nearby resorts. The place is run down, badly constructed and generally dirty. None of the up market fittings, like the spa, actually worked. The staff were friendly but the food very average. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance and some had free transport. The location is OK but noisy with all the watersports and half the population of China rudely pushing in, pushing past or generally being annoying. But this is Bali wide now. So, ignore the photos. If it is cheap you want Segara will do. If it is a resort experience go elsewhere.

Pictures on Tripadviser looked OK and most comments were fine, so booked for three nights and were thrilled with the place. Arrived at midday and were shown to our suite on the second floor facing, in fact right on, the beach. The entry is into a large room with island cooking bar and sinks at one end and a dining area halfway down the very large room. A full sized fridge, WiFi area with your own repeater for excellent WiFi experience and then a full sized wraparound lounge suite, WOW, but wait, there's more. Look towards the sea and walk through the four panel sliding doors and you are on the biggest hotel balcony that I have ever seen this side of the Hilton; full length of both sea facing rooms. The bedroom had a matching set of sliding doors to the balcony and the bed was pleasant. Air conditioning for each area was a split system, quiet and effective and not the rattletrap square ones in budget priced hotels usually seen at this price level. The staff were totally gorgeous with no requests being too much for them such as confirming ongoing travel reservations. This hotel is a little gem close to all restaurants / shops / waterfront sports etc etc. Reading one comment regarding it being the worst that she had stayed in staggered me, but there you go.…

Great location on the beach ... so much sport activity on the beach, and kids love it ,, Fantastic stay .. large rooms and very friendly staff , kitchen were large and great for barbecues with private chef and the local food were yummy and kids love the Nasi goreng and fried bananas.

The room is nice and huge. Got upgraded to 2 bedroom suite, thanks for the hotel manager pak Devan. All staff were friendly, good location on beach side. If you plan to have luxury stay with the minimum budget this place is the best place!

The only positive point I can make about this place was that the staff were friendly. We arrived late in the evening only to find they had no record of our booking. Instead of the three bedroom suite we had booked we were placed in two different rooms on different floors as there were no three bedrooms available. The rooms we stayed in need a complete overhaul and a thorough clean, the sheets were stained and old looking the towels were grubby looking and one was full of holes. There was a towel placed on the floor by the bedroom balcony door, presumably to stop the door rattling all night (which it didn't do), the lock on the other balcony was broken and did not lock, the safe was not bolted down, there was mold and damp patches in places, the toilet leaked, the toilet seat was yellow instead of the white it had once been, the kitchen equipment was old, tatty and dirty, the bath had dead bugs in it, the wardrobes smelled, the kitchen floor was greasy, the rest of the floors were dirty, the shower head needed descaling, the air con was noisy. It felt like whoever owns this place just can't be bothered with it any more. The breakfast was awful, scrambled eggs on stale bread and stale croissants. There was no way our family could stay here, after ‘breakfast’ we left and found somewhere else to stay, which, thankfully was perfect and saved our holiday from being a complete disaster. Let me start with the good points of this facility. Room was very good. We had taken a suite, it had a good view. It was clean, welcome drinks were provided. Now the good points end there. It does not have 24 hr reception. We had a late night flight and thus I had repeatedly mailed the hotel before arriving asking for airport transport. There was no reply from hotel. After arriving also, we called hotel to ask exact directions. No one picked up the phone. Finally, after reaching to the hotel there was only one boy who was sleeping. We had to shake him awake. Second day, they sold us a package for water sport very expensive and it was not at all safe. People at water sports location had no proper training and they didn't even have proper safety gears for customers. The glass bottom ride included in the package was the boat itself used for transport till diving boat. Snorkeling, glass bottom ride was promised to be for 1 hr each whereas it was over within 20 mins altogether. Overall the experience was not good. We will not stay in the place again.…

I like the location, a bit far from the crowed, love the swimming pool and the beach in front. Like the condo only need to fix a bathroom because of leaking. The breakfast is ok, but need to add more a little bit the variant of the breakfast. But overall I really enjoyed my stay :)
