Perfect location with amazing sea view and beautiful garden. Very clean. It’s all inclusive and food is very delicious and fresh. Staff is very nice and friendly. The beach is not big but is big enough for hotel’s guests. Great value for money

Though the location is excellent, at the seafront with 2 quite nice beaches, food is quite good and abundant (all-inclusive), no facilities for families with kids were available, most likely because of the covid situation, though other hotels in the area tried to overcome the difficulties of a short-notice start providing the best available. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't provide any rule for the few sunchairs and umbrella (apprx. 60 umbrellas on the beaches and more than 5 times rooms) that are reserved day after day by bad-mannered persons who leave towels from the first day till the last.

Ok. You could cherry-pick and point a lot of lesser strong points. But the overall experience minding the price paid - is ok. Rooms are quite big, cleanliness errs on the adequate side, the food is better than expected.

We travelled with a 7 months infant and had a sea view studio in the main building. The room was big, the furniture was pretty new but the floor was incredibly dirty. The laminate floor was dirty and sticky, my husband white socks got black in 2 minutes. I asked the receptionist twice to send somebody to mop the floor but nobody came. The bathroom tile and walls were also dirty with fingerprint smudges and splashes. The sheets on the bad were ok but the cover looked  worn out and dirty too. The curtains are very transparent, I personally can sleep even when there is light in the room but if you want to put an infant to bed earlier or if you have a problem with the light, it might be a huge discomfort. The pool is near the restaurant and the deck was transformed into a terrace so there are no chaise longues. Basically, you get out of the pool and go throughout the restaurant or the reception with water dripping. The water in the pool was clean and they also have a small one for children. The kitchen and the restaurant were separated by a corridor that tourists and people used to get to their rooms. I could literally see a waitress waiting with a bowl full of sauce in her hands for us to pass. Not logical or hygienic. The elevator is very small, 2 adults and a sport stroller barely fit in.  At the restaurant, the staff washed the floor and the tables (and sprayed disinfectant on the tables) but the place mats had leftovers on then from the previous meals. They had several babychairs which was really great when the restaurant was busy. However, sometimes they were dirty, especially in the afternoon.   The food is not varied but it is ok. It doesn't taste bad but is very oily and most of the dishes are fried in oil. They had two special nights: traditional and seafood when the food was more varied. They serve pizza and ice cream at the beach bar  which is quite good. The drinks were ok and varied, too. The hotel is far from being baby friendly as there are a lot of steps and different levels, so it's a pain to use a stroller. They allow dogs on the beach apparently even if they were not listed as pet friendly. What was not ok was that the dog went running through the restaurant. I am a dog owner myself but still don't think that is ok.    On the bright side, the view is nice, the water is shallow and the beach is quite clean. Staff is friendly and smiling but not enough to offset the lack of cleaning and the food. They have enough parking space which is very handy. When it comes to covid, the staff rarely wore a mask or gloves, only the ones serving the foods that were behind a glass anyway. The waiters and all the others didn't have a mask or they wore it under their chin. When more tourist groups arrived, there was no social distancing either. However, there was disinfectant across the premises.  In conclusion, too bad for the view and the location... The hotel is just not meeting a 4star hotel expectations.

Very nice hotel. Good and clean beaches. The food was perfect and variuos. Great place for lazy vacations. Animators are offering different activities three or four times a day plus mini-disco for kids. But there is no public transport and if you want to go out of hotel's area you can use taxi or rent-a-car.

In a new resort on the Bulgarian seaside, The hotel is nice, it has its own sandy beach, swimming pool, volleyball courts, basketball, beach bar, sunbeds, the area is very beautiful. I had an apartment ( no. 010) consisting of one bedroom and a living room with open space kitchen. Clean apartment, very comfortable beds in the bedroom, even the sofa was ok. Very good food, good beer, wine the same. The staff is very caring and involved. Bartenders at the beachbar are super! Radoslav and Mihaela in particular. The only thing bad for me was flies and mosquitoes that are thousands, but I think they will solve this problem.

Poor conditions, the food is mediocre but the rooms are bad, uncomfortable beds, small old elevator, poor wi-fi and they charge all inclusive guests for parking and sunbeds. However the location is good and the restaurant staff were great but we will not be staying there again or recommend it

Dear Dan554, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on TripAdvisor about your recent stay with us. It is very disappointing to read that your stay with us did not live up to your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies for the condition you found your guest room. The Royal Bay team always try to satisfy even the most fastidious guests, so we're hopping to welcome you again and do our best to meet your expectations. We would like to make several clarifications to avoid misunderstandings: In booking.com (where you have made your reservation) it is mentioned that the parking fee is not included. Also the sunbeds and umbrellas are a part of the all inclusive programme as opposed to mattress. Best regards!

We stayed for 4 days and was impressed about this hotel. Very nice rooms, excellent food, location is great just near the beach. Most of all the staff was very helpful and nice, this being a rare thing these days. And not the least I want to congratulate the manager of this hotel. Everything was in top shape and this is a rare comodity. Believe me, this comes from a guy who used to manage a hotel in Romania. In conclusion, keep up the good work guys :)!

Everything was perfect. Its a really great hotel, on the beach with great seaview everywhere. Very quiet and relaxing. The beach is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and the food was very good. Restaurant is not too big but enough and has a terrace above the sea. We had a great time! One of the best place at Black Sea which we are going to visit again!!!
