We had such a fantastic few nights staying here. We were in the area for a friends wedding in Benacre, and Julie couldn't have made us more welcome. The old Rectory is a beautiful house, the gardens are stunning, and the rooms are immaculate and very spacious, the pictures don't do them justice Breakfast was really yummy and the scone... More

My husband I stayed at the Old Rectory B & B last weekend as a Birthday surprise for my husband. Julie and Michael were amazing hosts and ensured we were happy and comfortable with our room. Everything was explained and I can't praise them enough. We stayed in Room 1 and the pictures do not do the room or the... More

A welcome cream tea on arrival set the tone for a lovely stay - beautiful house and garden, excellent breakfasts and very hospitable hosts! Dunwich Heath and Minsmere for nature lovers and Red House in Aldeburgh (home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears) for wonderful insight into the composer's life.

We were so lucky to find this B & B. As we were visiting family we were originally looking for somewhere a little closer to Southwold and only ventured further afield on realising most places were booked up. Thank goodness they were, as if they hadn't been we wouldn't have found this gem of a place. After a long journey... More

Very friendly welcome and comfortable stay. Excellent Breakfast after a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed. Great location, just off of the A12 to see Suffolk and Norfolk. Not far from Sutton Hoo, worth a visit, good pubs and local restaurants locally, all listed in the Rectory welcome book. Very friendly welcome and comfortable stay. Excellent Breakfast after a... We stayed for a couple of nights at the beautiful Old Rectory which is a short walk from the sea in Kessingland. We had a lovely room overlooking the pretty front garden. Julie was an excellent host - we were warmly welcomed with a cream tea which always goes down well! Our room was in excellent condition, comfy and had... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. The garden is now blooming with colour, as Spring has progressed, with the Rhododendrons looking vibrant and glorious and Bluebells now carpeting the wood area. Hope to see you again one day. Many thanks and best wishes, Julie x More
