Charming Tobagonian hosts make this a great place to stay
I have just returned from a glorious two week holiday in Tobago. I stayed at LesVille's Place which is tucked away in Canaan, a quiet residential area ideally located for visiting the fabulous beaches at Store Bay, Pigeon Point, Canoe Bay, Mount Irvine and Grafton Beach. In fact Canaan is a perfect base for exploring all the attractions of Tobago - the main town of Scarborough, the various forts scattered around the island, the refreshing Argyll Falls, the charming villages of Speyside and Charlotteville, the restaurants around Crown Point and the Shirvan RoadHosts Lestell and Orville Moore live on site with their two sons Omari and Akilo, their home is at the front of the site and the studio/apartment block is to the rear, in the middle of luscious gardens. All rooms have double beds, plenty of windows for light and fresh air as well as air conditioning, cable TV, ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen facilities and indoor and outdoor dining areas. It's a peaceful location, but just a few minutes walk to local restaurants, supermarket, bakery and greengrocers. All the guesthouses in Tobago seem to offer an airport pick up and drop off service and daily rides to local beaches. Lestell and Orville offer much, much more - they took me and other guests all around the island to show us all the attractions, they took me to visit Orville's parents and Lestell's sister, they kindly invited me to join them for an evening of comedy at the annual Laugh Show in Scarborough, and invited me for dinner in their home and the opportunity to learn how to cook a myriad of traditional Tobagonian dishes. In short, they treated me as a visiting friend rather than a paying guest. And it wasn't just me, they are equally charming and hospitable to all their guests. To enable guests to do some independent sightseeing, they have cars, a jeep and bicycles for rent - I very much enjoyed cycling around. It's also very easy to hail a taxi to Crown Point or Scarborough from the main road which is just a couple of blocks away.If you're looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries, to experience the relaxed way of life of this sunny, friendly island in a beautiful location with charming hosts, LesVille's Place is the place to go.
We thank you for the compliments. We try to make our guests feel at home while they are at our establishment. We look forward to hosting you and your loved ones again.

Communication with this place was just extremely poor based on the representative's response. It was highly unprofessional in my opinion and I will obviously give another place my money wheneverI visit.

Firstly, I have to say making reservation is very easy. The proprietors are not only accommodating but also make time and money saving recommendations. Upon my arrival I stayed with my family until my room was ready, which normally should be at 3 pm but since the owners tried to accommodate me they had it prepared by 1.30pm. Might I add that the owner's wife and another young lady are responsible for the house cleaning and they are very thoroughly (almost at 4 star hotel standard). Mr Orville took the time to show me around and take me up to my room. I stayed in room 7 which is a studio apartment, I have to say I loved it! A major plus was that their wifi service is off the hook but the cable not so good in the sense very limited on channels and sometimes the service may drop but the wifi does make up for that. I should let you know that this place is very affordable but does not have a pool, which I didn't mind as our intention was to explore Tobago's Natural Beauty.

My boo and I stayed here and had a great time. It was affordable, safe, quiet, clean and right location to everything. The apartment was equipped with the amenities we expected and had no issues. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The family own business was just that. Ran by a great family, who showed interested in their guest but weren't intrusive. Great plus for us!! I hope Orville, Lestell and the rest of the family will have us back. All the best, Dawn Edwards.

My friend and I stayed at Lesville in March 2017, after being in Trinidad for carnival we were looking for some rest and relaxation. Lesville is a family owned business, they are very sweet and helpful, even let my friend borrow their son's phone charger because she forgot hers in Trinidad. The location is in a safe, quiet community and a short ride to the beach and airport. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the price was very affordable.

Nice value for your buck. The property is kept well. It is a family environment and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you prefer efficiency over the Gucci experience, then this is the place.

My stay here over a previous Carnival period was very relaxing. The guesthouse is located in a quiet and safe area and all amenities are within walking distance. The location is an ideal spot for starting off your journey to enjoy all that Tobago has to offer. The compound itself is very clean with well kept gardens and the perimeter fence and secured off road parking only added to my peace of mind on this trip. There was also daily visits of a mother hen and her brood of chicks. The family who owns and operates this business are very friendly and professional in their operations. Residents in the area always greeted me with a warm good morning, on my walks to the fresh fruit stall, which made you feel safe and welcomed. This is a place where you can come to for a relaxing time and if need be, you can be in the thick of things a short drive away in just a few minutes. I tried to get a booking for the last carnival period but unfortunately they were fully booked, so my advice is to make your reservations early and enjoy your stay here.

As a first time visitor to the island, I was pleasantly pleased with the generosity and helpfulness of the staff. The accommodations and beautiful garden were exceptionally clean and well kept! This is the perfect B&B for couples or even best friends who want to be safe, comfortable and ready to enjoy the culture of Tobago!

Spent three nights from the 7th-9th the apartment was clean easy access to nearby beaches and shopping areas however i was quite upset that Moore wanted his plumber to come in to do maintenance while i was alone in the apartment. it was a nice mini vacation but leave the repair works for when the apartments are empty.
