We stayed here whilst on our honeymoon in October 2015 & I can honestly say it is the nicest place I have ever been. Picture perfect setting scrupulously clean, comfortable & stylish. The food was first class even if you are not staying it is well worth a trip to the restaurant alone. The staff were brilliant they managed the... More

Thanks so much for your positive words and generous feedback about your experiences staying with us. We are so glad we contributed to making your honeymoon a wonderful and memorable experience. The observation you made saying, ".. you were treated more like family guests than paying guests..." is exactly our staff's objectives - so happy it's all being felt from... More

A wonderful place in stunning surroundings. You get to it via water taxi. The rooms are spacious and very well presented. The room we were given had its own outside decking, which afforded wonderful views of Kenepuru Sound. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food at breakfast and in the evening was varied and excellent. Activities are more or less... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Raetihi Lodge located in the beautiful Kenepuru Sounds. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming and all meals were excellent. Very nice decor in the rooms although we thought the bathrooms need updating. All in all a lovely Lodge to relax for a couple of days.

Thanks for your review and positive feedback. I'll share your comments with our chefs and staff and they will be very appreciative. Yes, we're aware the bathrooms needs a facelift and we're doing our best to address that as we can - but we appreciate your attitude that there are other excellent aspects of the whole experience. We welcome you... More

We had a great few days of relaxation and action at Raetihi with the whole family together. An awesome place to relax and rewind. Upgrades of facility have added to what was already a fabulous place of escape. The staff have always been great, but current team are exceptional...well done!

Great welcome, great staff. Relaxed, easy. Plenty to do....or you can just relax. Beautiful setting. Great rooms. Fab food. Would recommend to anyone. The attention we received as a group of 9 people was exceptional. Can't wait to go back.

It is a very relaxing location. There are a few tips to make the room better (bathroom and fridge need upgrading) but overall the experience is good. Kayaks, bikes, golf possibility (although we heard the course is being closed), hiking, boat rides. Staff is friendly, kitchen is great.
