In Asplathia region, 6 km to the north west of Lefkada town and 7 km from the beach of Agios Nikitas, five stone villas are spread on the western slopes of a lush green hill with olive trees. Every villa has a private pool, parking area, gardens and a big paved court surrounded by stone yard. The whole property is also surrounded by a stone yard. The villas are beautifully integrated in the lush green natural environment and have view to the Ionian Sea and the mountainous sides of Lefkada. All villas combine simplicity with wealth, natural beauty with modern luxury, so that visitor will have the feeling that the internal rooms and the external area with the pools and the gardens is a whole, ready for you to enjoy it every moment. The colours of the internal rooms in combination with the traditional furniture create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Detailed Reviews
We had an wonderful stay at Asplathia Villas, returning with great pleasure after 9 years. The villa is very comfortable, very well equipped and impeccably clean. The pool is amazing and Spyros is the perfect host - he responds immediately at any time, no matter what kind of request you have. The place is perfect both for a family vacation but also for a holiday with friends who can stay at the villas next door - as was our case.
When return in Lefkada, we definitely stay at Asplathia Villas again!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Asplathia villas this August for one week. The environment was great, the services we received were top class, the owners were very friendly and helpful, as well as willing to satisfy every wish we had!!!. Also i would like to comment on a comment that that i read( Cris Elias). It seems that we stayed in the same villa that they stayed the following week of their departure and i would like to comment on that. what we found had nothing to do with their comment. As you can see on the beginning of my review i write that the accommodation we received was much more than what we expected and the holidays we had were the best so far. Therefore i cannot believe that their comment is accurate and i would not give so big value to that. Finally i would recommend Asplathia villas to anybody for his holidays.

We have visited Asplathia Villas for the first time. It is situated in the mountain area of Lefkada so for someone who wants to have a sea view please forget it. If you are like us that we enjoy our privacy and the coolness of the mountain areas you should totally visit!
As soon as we arrived we found the cleanest apartment ever! The owner had for us a basket full of goodies like, wine, bread, homemade sweets, marmalade, coffee fresh fruits and in the fridge we found orange juice water and milk. In general the apartment was full for our breakfast even if it was not even included. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were all the things we needed even if we just stayed for a weekend. It is definitely the best place to stay if you are a couple with kids since the sofa beds of the living can be transformed into beds. We also suggest it for long stay visits.
We had fresh towels for a week, an extreme amount of toiletries, even washing liquid for the washing machine!!!
Things that need to be improved: Space of wardrobes for long stay visitors, heating for the swimming pools (unfortunately we visited the Island during a cold period and we could not enjoy the pool as much as we would like. Definitely a heated swimming pool would extend the summers season period till Autumn).
We hope to visit again soon!

Suppose to be a "villa", but it was a very small room with two areas. no room to place your luggage no room for your clothes, luggage were stored in the kitchen-living room. Supposed to have a fully equipped kitchen but only one hob was working, no worktop at all you had to work on the sink in order to prepare your breakfast. No ammenities were offered after the first day. Three times we had to ask for toilet paper. Cleanliness every three days which is not enough!! Windows were not working properly. Location far from everything. You could hardly see the sea. And finally two days before our departure we were informed that the room was double booked for the last day, allthough the booking was confirmed via email and that we had to leave earlier. We asked the hotelier to find us something similar for the next days as it was their fault and she found a cheap dirty and miserable apartment... We had to search ourselves for a room on the 15th of August wich was an "Odyssey"... The hotelier wanted to be paid for the last day also even if we didn't sleep there! As you can all understand they ruined our vacations in Lefkada...

We happened to be so lucky to book it at the last minute. Spyros managed to accommodate us for the 5 days we needed. We did 2 days before and 3 days after a sailing cruise in the ionian islands but nevertheless they have been so kind to find the place for the whole crew (6 people) in the same apartment.
When we arrived at the place we have been extremely surprised by the wonderful view on the valley from which you can see a bit of the Lefkada channel as well.
The private swimming pool it's a charm and the whole outside area of the villas it's so nice and private that we spend most of our time out there between the pool and the dining area.
The villa itself is a very nice stone building exactly as it's shown in the pictures and the inside, as the outside, are at the highest standards (A/C, locks etc..)
During the day there was always a nice wind that made you forget the high temperature of the town.
The place is 6km from lefkada town but with a car (something you want to have when visiting greece) it means only 10 minutes and no issues whatsoever.
We had an extremely good time and I would really advise the place for families or small groups.
The cherry on the cake was the welcome package with local products that we found both times we went into the villa, a small gift but really appreciated that once again showed the care and the kindness of the people managing the villa.
The wonderful images of the place gives an exact idea of what it is really they don't hide any surprise as sometime happens!
I hope go there again soon as it is an extremely good location to explore lefkada itslef but all the ionian islands as well.

+1

I stayed here in early September for a week. The villas are in a gated development with beautiful landscaping - the driveway, walls and gardens are all designed well and very attractive.
The villas have been designed with trees and planting so that there is fairly good privacy from each other. The views are lovely, the sea view is not that close but it's still beautiful. The villa itself looks lovely on the website but even nicer when you are there. The sitting room and kitchen/breakfast area are different rooms on different floors so there is more space than I thought when looking at the website. My favourite room was the light airy bedroom with balcony overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside and the smart ensuite bathroom. The villa is beautifully designed, with a real sense of style, immaculate and spotlessly clean.
The first couple of days the swimming pool filter came on at times when I was at the villa and I found the noise irritating and for me spoilt the tranquility of the place and my ability to enjoy it. I spoke to the owners and they sorted it out for me so that it came on in the middle of the day and during the evening when I would be out so it wouldn't bother me. The location is great, just ten minutes drive to Lefkada town and about 15 minutes to Pefkoulia beach which is really gorgeous. I went to other restaurants in the area all within 15 minutes drive. The best was I Rachi at Exanthia where people go to watch the sunset. The taverna is set out on a headland so when sitting there you don't see any other houses, just the sea and the sky. The atmosphere is great and the food inexpensive and really good.
I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday here and would definitely go back again.

We've stayed in many villas in Greece before (through James Villas) but this one is top of the list for quality, cleanliness, service and amenities etc. Although booked through James Villa we had little to do with them once we arrived, as Spyros, the Mgr of Asplathia Villas, met us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful there was little need to have the obligatory visit from the James Villa rep as well.
Another surprise was the wonderful welcome hamper that we were not expecting (with any other villa through James this is usually a choice you make when booking - with a high price attached!) A lovely, comprehensive range of local products, wine, honey, bread etc. And so many little things such as washing detergent, paper towels, dishwashing tablets all there. So handy, esp. when you're travelling on a plane but often not there in our previous villas.
Villa itself (Villa Anemone in our case) is built to a very high standard, as well as the pool and other outdoor amenities (such as barbie and high quality, comfortable sunbeds). The Aircon was the best, most efficient we've ever had abroad and the Wifi worked very well. The location is great with lovely views over the surrounding hills. Quite close the road, which can be noisy at times but on the plus side, means the villas are easily accessible. We've stayed in villas where access can be several kms down awful, bumpy, potholed lanes that have to be negotiated every time you leave and return to the villa. Villa might be more secluded as a result but you pay a serious price! These villas are located close to beaches and Lefkada town. The island isn't big and it's easy to get to pretty much everywhere in a week - that's if you can bring yourself to leave the villa and the pool!
One last tip: Gialos Beach is worth the windy, steep road down, esp. if you want to escape the crowds in the middle of August (as witnessed just kms further down the road at Port Katsiki!). Bring your swim shoes though as access can be a bit tricky.
Thank you, Spyros, for a wonderful stay at your villa! Hope to return sometime soon!

We were three times in Lefkada and each time we stayed at Asplathia Villas because we love this villas! The location, in a garden of olive trees, with splendid views is perfect for having a relaxing vacation, away from the crowded tourist area. Also, the private swimming pool is great for kids!
The villa has everything you need for a weekly stay, great facilities, very clean, spacious for a family of 4 and very comfortable.
Spyros and his family are all very friendly, very kind and they are always happy to help with everything they can. Also, each time they delight us with traditional specialties and a very good local wine.
I recommend this amazing location !!!
