We just got back yesterday from staying at the 'Sparti' Villa (at least that was the name of our WiFi) which was suitable for a couple and 2 children (one main bedroom and upstairs mezzanine with two single beds. Although mezzanine stairs very steap so not great for small kids or elders. The villa is about 20 mins outside of nidri up some winding roads but our phone sat nav took us straight there with no issues. I would recommened shopping in either nidri or the large Lidl in lefkada on your way. Nidri has smaller supermarkets on the main 'strip'. We only saw our cleaner (Yota or Jota sorry if not spelled correctly) who sorted us out with tea and biscuits when we arrived. She was lovely. 10 out of 10 for her. Very helpful. She arranged what time she came in advance. She came everyday but most days we just opted for bins to be emptied. Car is a must. Walking to town not an option, trust me on that! If you want somewhere to party this isn't the place for you. However if you want a nice quiet idyllic getaway with frankly some of the nicest views I have ever seen then I highly recommend. Pool was great and surprisingly deep at the 'patio' end so perhaps not ideal for small children. Pool cleaned early each day and there is a net available for fishing out the odd critter which inevitably lands in. We loved our two week stay and it was exactly what we needed. Not a smart TV so if that's your thing take a tablet. WiFi was solid and fine for streaming etc. decent cooker and good size fridge freezer. Although kitchen was quite basic with no microwave we had no concerns. Our only slight complaint is that beds were very hard. But that's a preference thing so not really a criticism. Air con worked a treat so it was nice to be cool at night as weather was hot hot hot every day. We tend not to go to same place twice so we likely won't return (it's a big world with lots to see) but wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you are after a breathtakingly beautiful quiet relax for a week or two. Be mindful of seeing a few critters such as grasshoppers etc this place is right in the middle of nowhere so you will see them.

Lovely villa up in the mountains so be prepared for a winding road but the views are so worth it! Waking up to the sun rising over the Ionion islands was just the relaxation that we needed after the chaos of the last few months. Clean villa that changed our towels and cleaned during our one week stay. Great little traditional Greek Taverna a few minutes walk down the hill so you can work off the meal on the way back up!

We spent a week at this wonderful place. Service was great and the house was generally very well kept and cleaned regularly. Nikiana and Nidri are not far away, as are numerous smaller villages along the opposite side of the Island. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you enjoy a stunning sunrise with view over the sea. Staff was very friendly as well! We thank you for your hospitality!

We spent two weeks here with family and friends. The villa was comfortable and clean. The pool are relaxing with amazing views of the sea! There is a tavern located in walking distance that provide excellent food and service. Otherwise a car is necessary to enjoy your surroundings in a comfortable way. This location is otherwise great to explore the whole island and it’s beautiful views and beaches. Only suggestion for improvement would be to provide the cleaning service more frequently and change towels more often. Staff is very helpful!

7 adults & 1 child in our family group stayed here whilst attending a wedding on the island. The villa is located in a residential area on a hillside with spectacular views and of the sea, the harbour and the mountains. There is a large gated driveway making you feel secure and secluded. As you enter the main door you are in an open plan kitchen/dinning/living area which consists of an L shaped modern kitchen with lots of cupboard space and fully equipped with everything you will need including a standard oven, a large American-style fridge freezer and a dining room table with 6 chairs. The dining/kitchen area leads into the living room in this open plan style. The living room has a flat screen TV on top of a video cabinet with an open fireplace, a CD player, a large settee, a large coffee table and pictures to give it a homely feel. This open plan kitchen/dining/living room ends with patio doors that lead out to a very large balcony with another dining table and 6 chairs for outside eating. There is also an airer for drying your washing and stairs which lead to the downstair rooms and pool/garden area. Access to the bedrooms on the same level as the kitchen/dining/living area are also via doors to this balcony that has amazing views of the harbour, mountains and sea plus views of the pool. You can also access the these bedrooms internally from doorways on either side between the kitchen/dining area and the living room. Before entering the master bedroom there is a door to a utility cupboard which holds a standard washing machine, laundry items and an iron with ironing board. Next to this cupboard is one of the bathrooms which is modern and has an amazing upright jacuzzi shower with a seat and side jets plus 2 shower heads. There is also a sink on a cupboard with a double bathroom cabinet and a shelf underneath and a wall mounted hair-dryer next to it. Toiletries were available as well as towels in all of the bathrooms. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with single-drawer bedside tables either side of it that both have bedside lamps on them. There is a massive floor to ceiling built-in wardrobe that have multi cupboards and drawers spaces included. There is also a single-drawer dressing table with stool and wall-mounted mirror plus a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The other bedroom on the main level has exactly the same set-up as the master bedroom except it has twin beds. The bathroom next to this bedroom also has exactly the same set up as the one next to the master bedroom except it has a sit in jacuzzi instead of an upright stand in one. Downstairs can be accessed either from stair leading from the driveway or stairs leading from the balcony. Both sets of stairs lead into the garden/swimming pool area which has small grass areas on either side of the villa and a built-in BBQ with a hammock behind it. The pool is of a good size with a shallow & deep end plus a children's paddling pool next to it. There is a parasol and plenty of loungers, even a lovely double-seated one for a couple of people to sit together on. Doors to access the downstair rooms are at poolside level. As you enter through the patio doors in front of the pool you enter a living area with another large settee, a small coffee table and plenty of shelves and cupboards again with a homely feel due to pictures, books, a vase and ornaments. This living room leads into a dining area with a table and chairs for 4, a standing coat rack, a mirror and a front door that leads to stairs at the side of the villa going up to the driveway. The 2 bedrooms are via doors from the dining area with one bedroom having a double bed, bedside tables either side with lamps on, a cot and a narrow but tall double wardrobe. The other bedroom has a massive circular bed with one bedside table and again a narrow but tall double wardrobe. The bathroom for this downstair section was next to the bedroom with the circular bed and has a shower that had a little step with a sink above a cupboard and a large wall mounted mirror. All in all, this villa was trendy and stylish with plenty of space, well equipped and with amazing views. You would need your own transport or be prepared to use taxis as it's not close to public transport or close to local shops/amenities but worth the stay.

Stayed for 8 days in June and although it is a bit of a drive to and from the villa it is definitely 100% worth it. Villa has awesome views and a great pool. The place was cleaned every day and the host are helpful with everything you need, including wood to start the fire for the barbecue. I highly recommend this place, you’re going to love it.

Nice big villa with a private pool and a fantatsic view. Mind that you need a car, not the smallest, to reach the villa. It ja about 15 minutes down to the mountain a 5 more to Nidri. Nidri is very touristic and a lot of B class restaurants. Villa is cleaned every dat by a great lady and tour pool and jacuzzi (optional) is cleaned every day also. We had a six persons villa with three persons so never used the top floor. Beds are gokd, matrasses somewhat hard but we slept great. Total silence.
