This resort is the perfect getaway in Covid times. Super private, perfect beach and great food. Not a single person in sight. Very romantic set up... we had our own plunge pool, daybed and beach chairs. The staff there was so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely go back and stay in the same room.
October 2020, covid and all that and we managed to get away to Antigua for a week. We chose Keyonna as it looked amazing in the photos. After a short drive from the airport we weren't disappointed. Friendly welcome and an amazing rum punch soon followed. Sendy and Clint were fantastically friendly and helpful. We booked a private pool cabin and it was perfect. We had our own little pool area which was great and full of birdlife. Humming birds visiting the flora daily. The beach in front felt as if it were our own private area and we loved that. Especially in these times. Geil-Ann, even though she was masked at all times we felt her smile when she saw us. Beach and terrace service was great, Seth and Tyrone being great fun and bringing drinks and laughter to us when we wanted. The whole place felt relaxed and welcoming. The service at the bar was really good as well, staff going the extra mile to ensure we had what we wanted with some great suggestions when we weren't sure as well. Ruel certainly looked after us. The food here is fantastic! Never a bad meal and when we ate out we felt we had missed something. Faye does a great job with her staff, and treated us very well. Love the beef patties, and that black pineapple? Delicious, thank you so much Faye. This place has taken over as our number one Caribbean destination, so much so that within two weeks of our return home, we booked again, same time in 2021, provided that we can travel. Thanks for our amazing holiday to you all, we remembered some names here but everyone was fantastic, sorry we couldn't name you all. See you again in October. Get the rum in, cheeeeers!…
This little gem is quiet and completely relaxing. Huts are right on the beach. All inclusive which was perfect in times of covid; we chose to not do any excursions, though catamaran trips etc. are available. Restaurant and food were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are not fancy our room was on the quieter more private end. Our hut had a plunge pool, private outdoor shower and Bali bed right off the beach. Sunsets were amazing, as it is on the western shore. After a long hard year and winter this was just what we needed and will definitely go back.
We came here for 1 night to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were already in Antigua but as the restaurants were all locked down we thought that this would give amore normal experience. We booked via the American Express website which offered a better price than the hotels website. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and given a welcome rum punch that might have been the best rum punch I have ever had.Our check in had been done on line so we were shown our beach front cottage that was roomy and well laid out with an outside shower and a patio that had the million dollar view of the beach. The meals were all good. The breakfast and lunch menus had better selections than the dinner menu but the food delicious. After our arrival we went for a walk on the beach where a woman asked us if we were staying at Keyonna and if it was my wife's birthday. Sendy Anne worked at the hotel but was off that day. We ran into her several times the next day before we left after lunch. She was friendly and very attentive finding us in our cabana to see if we needed to book a taxi for our departure. our only regret was that we did not book for longer…
