The Bali beds are a perfectly unique way to nap, after a swim, in the arms of your partner or to simply relax together while sipping on our famous cocktails and rum punches and enjoying the view. We invite you to book your dream vacation with us without delay. Our small size means that availability is frequently limited. Keyonna is a beautiful resort for anyone looking for pure relaxation and indulgence in the form of food, drinks, service and stunning surroundings.

As soon as you reach the resort, you are greeted with the warm welcome of security staff, and from thereon continues the first-class ‘service with a smile’.

My best friend and I came here to celebrate our joint birthdays. Unfortunately, we arrived when they had just implemented new COVID-restrictions: an 8pm COVID curfew and eateries providing food to take away only. So, although that ruined some of our plans, fortunately, we had Keyonna to enjoy the all-inclusive food and drink- otherwise we would have been rather stuck!

We had our own beach house cottage each, which were basic, but functional. The rest of the resort was beautiful and all open, so you could always enjoy the stunning scenery from somewhere.

Each cottage is allocated their own cabana bed on the beach, where we had the delightful Tony serving us his amazing cocktails (including the infamous ‘Tony-coladas’). It’s a great spot to sit back and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves, whilst sipping on cocktails under the warmth of the Antiguan sun….

The food/drinks/service was great, with good choices of the catch of the day and specials available daily. So there is always something for everyone! Not to mention the beautiful views you get to enjoy during each time we stuffed our faces (which seemed to be nonstop!).

All the staff were most lovely and welcoming- with special thanks and shout outs to:

CLINT- we got to know him well: very professional, experienced and helpful, and has a great way with people/guests. He clearly loves what he does, which is evident in how he treats his guests and our welfare. He became like a friend and definitely made our stay more enjoyable and special for us!
TONY- making sure we were well looked after and never thirsty!
CLIFFORD- always busy making sure guests were well looked after and that everything ran smoothly!
SENDY-ANN- always greeting everyone by name (and with a smile), and checking we were all good
KEYON- my favourite waitor with the loveliest manner! Jade x

I'm almost hesitant to write a review because I want to keep this hidden gem of a resort to myself for when I plan a return journey to Antigua. I struggled to find an all inclusive ANYWHERE in the Caribbean for the summer that COVID restrictions finally relaxed. The service, pricing, safety, location, and experience you have here is unmatched at anywhere on Antigua. I cannot emphasize enough how great it was to be here. Location: On the Caribbean Sea on the West end of the Island (Crystal Blue Clear Water, White sand beaches) ~ 45-55min Taxi from the Airport (which they offer in house for a fee) Staff: Simply Sensational. They are so kind, so friendly, so attentive and they all genuinely seem to enjoy being there. Most requests are fulfilled in a timely manner and they have incredible patience for people as indecisive as me and my girlfriend. You will know them by name by the time you leave and you'll hope that they will still be there when you return. ( and we WILL) COVID: Obviously this is a big point for people travelling right now. I travelled vaccinated from the US to Antigua via American Airlines. The country requires a negative RT PCR test within 7 days of entry BUT American Airlines requires one within 72 hours of flying to the country. The resort offers tests on site with medical staff Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for ($60) and for special off-day visits ($150) as of 8/3/21 to 8/11/21 which was when we stayed there. Food / Drink: As mentioned all inclusive. The menu? created by Andrew Michilin himself. 4 star, 3 course meals 3 times a day and snack upon request in the afternoon. NO buffet, which is a BLESSING. Food was so good it made returning to the US super painful to reacclimate.. Drinks are good and come at a wide variety. General Tips: -Bring more cash than you anticipated; they give you a safe and all taxis only take Cash. Cash deposits are needed for excursions and the nearest ATM (As of 8/11/21) is a 5min drive away in Jolly Harbour. -Plan excursions early, limited availability with COVID. -Cars drive on the left side of the road- so if you are American do not plan on being able to rent a car. -Bring Anti-itch cream, this is still a tropical island with a rainforest, there are bugs and they bite. OVERALL: I made memories I will never forget at Keyonna. Friends, experiences and food that I will reminisce over at my 9-5 office job until I can go again. They are expanding down Turners Beach and I hope to return with friends :

This was our first time staying at this resort and I must say this place is absolutely amazing! The beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life the water looked like it was dyed blue it was so clear and beautiful. Every sunset was also amazing right over the water. The menu changed every day and the food was absolutely gourmet. The wait staff was so friendly at all times. Tony would walk around to our beach cabanas and was a great person to talk to and would bring you whatever you want and even created some amazing drinks while we were there. There is not enough good things I can say about this resort and we will definitely be back. Even the management was so nice they went above and beyond personally driving me to get some eardrops because I had water in my ear. Again I cannot say enough nice things about this place! We also liked that it was a couples only resort so everything was done so romantically and often we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves.

Wonderful stay, very rustic hotel but an authentic Caribbean experience. Lovely fresh food which utilised local produce. I really liked the way that the hotel and staff stayed true to the Antiguan roots and the hotel was not trying to mass cater for every visitor’s countries preferences. A unique experience, which was laid back, friendly, personable and genuine. We stayed in the main house room which I really liked (despite some reviews saying the cottages are the way to go) We had a lovely big and comfortable bed which was decorated in local flowers when we arrived, an outdoor shower, big room and very large bathroom. We loved the tea & minibar! From our balcony we had a stunning view of the cottages, garden and beach/ sea. The hotel style is rustic. I almost felt as though we were in an early Bond film, based in the Caribbean. Dark stained wood is the styling all over the small hotel. The rooms are air conditioned but not the main areas. There are amble bugs and from trip advisor I had stocked up on Johnson’s ‘off’ bug spray. I reccomend the ‘deep woods’ green bottle, which I think is even stronger than the orange bottle. I did not get bitten once as was very vigilant with applying this, sand fly spray at the beach and using the room spray. We had no problems with bugs in our room either, as we were very careful and did not have the doors open for more than a second. There are alot of bugs but you just need to be careful and use the sprays and keep your doors closed. Its a small price to pay for a stunning island experience. The staff are warm and welcoming, especially the receptionists who always remembered us and gave a personal and warm welcome each time we saw them. They were very helpful in organising us excursions, spa, taxis and helpful local information. I really felt that everyone was true to themselves and not giving off ‘fake’ over the top customer service. You could tell that the employees were genuine and giving their honest advice. We did a ‘Scuba Snorkelling’ tour through the hotel, with a local company which I highly reccomend. The atmosphere is safe and professional, its very easy as a tourist to organise things and get to know your way. Wifi was a little patchy, but honestly it was fine and the hotel states that is wants it’s guests to disconnect and is not a ‘gadget’ hotel etc. Tony (beach drinks and food service who looks like Obama) was fabulous! Hardworking and made beautiful drinks by hand for the whole beach. A very difficult job going back and forth all day in the heat- a couple of days- presumably Tony’s days off, we had another server who was also excellent. ‘Tonycoladas’ and ‘coconut crush’ were our drinks of choice. We have taken the recipes to make at home. We were impressed with the quality of drinks and alcohol- the house Rose wine was excellent too. Clifford who was in charge of wine is very passionate and friendly with wonderful advice and information about the drinks and wines. We really liked that both the drinks and food were really well thought out, and included local ingredients along with real fruit. The fruits were gorgeous and the drinks were not artificial syrupy or too sugary. There was an incredible Guava fruit juice at breakfast one morning and a passion fruit another morning, also cucumber that was very refreshing. Proper english tea too, in a teapot for those missing home 😄 I was so pleased nothing was artificial or overly sweet as its not our taste and we are quite fussy lol. The fresh fish was very much enjoyed and I tried grouper and red snapper for the first time. The snapper is now my favourite fish! The fish was perfectly cooked- another thing I am very fussy with, as many places overcook fish, it really was excellent. My partner enjoyed jerk chicken and we both really enjoyed being able to eat on our bali beds on the beach. Loved the bali beds on the beach! I would get new cushions/ colour covers for the sunbeds as I felt the blue ones didn’t go with the bali beds- just me being fussy but think it would really spruce up the beach. It was amazing to have pillows in the bali beds as I always make my own out of towels, and it was a dream to actually have some! The sea and beach are stunning- as described and a dream! There are small fish and starfish, which you can see from the hotel beach. Again, if I am being critical, it would have been great to have some sort of plastic reduction or recycling effort for things such as bottle of water on the beach and products in the room. Many places are providing large bottles and refilling them, along with glass bottles or filtered jugs of water and glasses. I am not sure what the situation is in Antigua with recycling but think it is important everywhere to try our best. We would have loved to of recycled our plastic bottles in the room if there was a separate bin, or even if there was a recycling bin on the beach. There is a road behind the hotel, but it is quiet and not an issue. We really liked that every building was one story high and the island is not overdeveloped. The hotel had a wonderful, friendly and romantic atmosphere, with many guests being on their honeymoon. It was not rowdy at all and a lovely environment to make a few friends and relax. One suggestion which I felt would have been beneficial (but we did go in the hottest month) would be to have some sort or fans or air con in the restaurant area as it does get very very hot. But really the hotel is amazing, traditional and respectful of nature and the environment. I had many spa treatments with Joycelyn, who was incredible. I felt like a new person. Joycelyn was professional, friendly and very good at what she does. A real asset to the hotel and made my week so relaxing and healing, to be able to have her treatments. Gardener’s work hard to keep the beautiful, tropical gardens, along with security at the front and beach, day and night. We felt very safe and well looked after while we were there. We were approached daily by beach vendors, which was annoying- but it is a public beach, as are all beaches in Antigua. I am not sure if there could be some sort of system the hotel could do such as putting something on your bali bed if you were interested/ not interested in beach vendors. It seemed like alot of work for them with not much reward but obviously they must get customers, or they wouldn’t carry on. That was the only small thing I didn’t like (being typically british and struggling to say a firm ‘no’ repeatedly) but not the hotel’s fault as it is a public beach as said above. We did not want to leave and had a special of the day, slice of chocolate rum cake before going to the airport. The cake was to die for and we will try to recreate this at home! The hotel is excellent at providing information, such as how to get a taxi from the airport, if you need a doctor or pharmacy and even provided on site covid tests. We saw staff all day disinfecting everything and the hotel was very clean. Housekeeping did a great job every day and we loved the local hibiscus flowers and conch shells in the room. Wholeheartedly reccomend the hotel and commend the wonderful people who work there to make it all that it is :)

We just returned from our babymoon at keyonna and couldn’t have dreamed up a better vacation! This resort is located on a pristine beach and our pool front cottage was literally right on the beach. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and keyonna was by far our favorite. We’ve never experienced any resort where every meal is absolutely perfect. Every Breakfast, lunch and dinner seemed to be 5 stars...major kudos to the chefs. The hotel staff was attentive to every need, including the preference sheet from our arrival. We were treated like family the entire stay. A special shout-out to the following staff members that made our stay so memorable: Keyon, tony, Francine, Tyrone, attesha, sandy, odeal and Elizabeth (housekeeping). All of these people deserve a huge raise! Thanks for the perfect trip and we will 100% be back once our child is old enough to stay with family (haha). Would highly recommend keyonna!!
