My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keyonna resort and can only recommend it to others! The welcome from front desk was warm and Manager Clinton immediately guided us to sit in the open lobby whilst they brought over a refreshing glass of rum punch and our bags were taken care of. My husband and I stayed in a first floor Sunset Beach room which had a beautiful bathroom and outdoor shower, as well as a large four poster bed with mosquito net. The balcony was spacious and decked out with two wooden armchairs and a table, from which we could see the beach, sea, designated beach bed and loungers. The dark wood and white walls were simply beautiful. The food here is served on an a la carte basis and is beautifully presented. Breakfast is a list of 10+ options, in addition to daily specials. Our favourites were the plates of fresh fruit, special Saltfish and Ackee with plantain, Eggs Benedict and pineapple french toast. We were also offered a daily special fresh juice - carrot, cucumber, white raspberry, honeydew and tamarind were the particular juices during our stay and each one incredibly refreshing! If you have a large appetite, choose a two course breakfast by all means - the staff are happy to oblige. Lunch and dinner were equally wonderful, fresh and tasty. Highlights were the variety of fish, seafood and interesting Carribbean jerk and one-pot stews with chicken... Oh yes and the BBQ ribs, rice and Mac n cheese... Flavourful and fresh! Again, portions are not 'belly busting' but this is a plus as it is definitely quality over quantity and you can have three courses should you wish. More informal snack food such as hot dogs or sandwiches could be ordered in the afternoon. We ordered this one time having skipped lunch because of an excursion and it was a very tasty substitute! Cocktails are free flowing and available on an extensive menu to order from the bar - my favourites were the Hibiscus and Pina Colada (of course!) Service is second to none. Odeal, Davina, Sendy-Ann, Clifford, Clinton and Andre in particular radiate joy and are a credit to the resort. We chatted to many of the other lovely staff who were personable and sincere. Keyonna is well situated on the beach and we enjoyed a dip most days. On one occasion we opted for the pool instead which was clean and convenient. Tip; Bring goggles so you can go underwater and find a starfish! Jet skis can be rented for 60 US dollars per 30 minutes by persons renting privately who drive up to the beach which we found convenient. If you aren't interested then simply decline. A few ladies also frequent the beach selling attractive beach cover ups and jewellery... Again they are not pushy and you can decline, however I did find two turtle and butterfly bracelets perfect for my young nieces so that was great. Beyond the resort, we enjoyed an island tour and snorkelling trip, and a private sunset charter. These were with the companies Johnny's Antigua tours and Cruise & Chill. Thanks to Keyonna's convenirnt location, both guides were happy to offer collection and drop off. Thank you Keyonna for an amazing, relaxing experience. Best wishes, Helen and Rob

Hotel's Favorite
October 2020, covid and all that and we managed to get away to Antigua for a week. We chose Keyonna as it looked amazing in the photos. After a short drive from the airport we weren't disappointed. Friendly welcome and an amazing rum punch soon followed. Sendy and Clint were fantastically friendly and helpful. We booked a private pool cabin and it was perfect. We had our own little pool area which was great and full of birdlife. Humming birds visiting the flora daily. The beach in front felt as if it were our own private area and we loved that. Especially in these times. Geil-Ann, even though she was masked at all times we felt her smile when she saw us. Beach and terrace service was great, Seth and Tyrone being great fun and bringing drinks and laughter to us when we wanted. The whole place felt relaxed and welcoming. The service at the bar was really good as well, staff going the extra mile to ensure we had what we wanted with some great suggestions when we weren't sure as well. Ruel certainly looked after us. The food here is fantastic! Never a bad meal and when we ate out we felt we had missed something. Faye does a great job with her staff, and treated us very well. Love the beef patties, and that black pineapple? Delicious, thank you so much Faye. This place has taken over as our number one Caribbean destination, so much so that within two weeks of our return home, we booked again, same time in 2021, provided that we can travel. Thanks for our amazing holiday to you all, we remembered some names here but everyone was fantastic, sorry we couldn't name you all. See you again in October. Get the rum in, cheeeeers!

Dear Fodda, Your review title says it all. We know we've done our job well when we make you want to come back. Much appreciation to you for writing this and commending the hard working men and women of our resort. A mere mask cannot withhold the intensity of their charisma and smile, we're glad you were able to feel it. We cannot wait to see you again on on our shores and promise to deliver an even more memorable experience than the last. Do take care and we have a glass of rum punch on the rocks waiting for your return. Warm Regards,

The service is outstanding, the location is perfect, we explored different beaches on a boat and it was a lot more crowded and windy. The food is really delicious. We are definitely coming back. Yes there are people on the beach offering you bracelets and little trinkets to buy but they are very polite and not persistent at all. I always ate fish there and they cook it brilliantly. Menu also has vegetarian option, i tried eggplant one evening and yes delicious as everything. It's a really tranquil place.

We just finished a week vacation at the Keyonna Beach Resort in Antigua. The headline is that we had an amazing time. The facilities are great, the food was excellent, and the staff was fantastic. We cannot wait to return. We booked a beachfront sanctuary pool cottage and loved the room we got. This is a standalone cottage with a small pool directly outside, four chaise lounges (one next to the room on the deck and another two on the beach), a bali bed, and the water is about 5 meters from the deck. It was heaven. Everything was very private and we could barely tell this was a resort and not a cottage on a deserted beach. There was also a table and chairs under a tree right next to the beach allowing us to eat lunch without going to the restaurant. I would encourage anyone staying to splurge on these rooms as they are on one side of the resort and really feel private compared to the other side where more guests spend their time. If I had any constructive criticism, it would be that the room could get too dark at times. Better lighting would be great. But, seriously, this is my only (weak) point to improve. The food was wonderful, changing every night at dinner. While the breakfast and lunch menus did not change, there was always a new special, soup, and other items. We were never bored of menu. One night they ran out of the starter I ordered. When I did not choose another starter, they whipped up a special starter for me at their own volition. The attention to detail and care was impressive and much appreciated. We also did a couple of excursions beyond the resort, going into St. John and taking a half-day private boat tour. Both were arranged by the resort with a driver (Tamika) and boat operator (CocoVibes). We loved both excursions and would highly recommend them. We had fun chatting with Tamika, and she suggested some great places to visit including the Antigua museum (we loved it) and CocoVibes took us to a deserted island to snorkel and lounge. It was fantastic. The whole Keyonna team was so welcoming, kind, and engaging. We felt like family at the resort, and really thank every single individual who made our stay very special. Finally, I want to point out that we are a gay couple and, like many places, we always wonder if there will be any issue being two guys. We had no issues at all and felt totally comfortable from our initial sit down to check in to our final check out. The resort is very welcoming to gay couples (there appeared to be one or two other same-sex couples there), something we appreciated immensely. We hope to return soon for more rest, relaxation, and rum punches. But the best part of the trip was the wonderful resort staff. Thank you for a true holiday.

Keyonna made my birthday celebration special! We wanted something with beautiful beaches, privacy, excellent service and food. Keyonna delivered everything we wanted and much more. Our beach front sanctuary pool cottage number 44 was perfect! Private, ocean front, plunge pool and your own Bali bed. The outside shower was magnificent! We visited St. John’s for some local shopping, Jolly Beach and Shirley Heights Lookout which had the most spectacular view and sunset. Not to be missed if you visit. Be prepared for island time and take your time :-) The staff was excellent and the food/wine/alcohol options were exceptional. We rarely do all inclusive because the food/liquor is not the best in our experience but Keyonna is not your typical all inclusive. Everything is catered and made to order. Everyone on staff was great but there were some that made it extremely memorable. Sandy was extremely important in making sure we had everything we needed from the moment we checked in to our last day. Breakfast/lunch was always excellent with Atisha, Odeal, Davina special attention. We always looked forward to dinner and great service from Melissa and Francine who always made us smile; Andres was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Clifford always came by to check on us. Our private beach dinner with Aaron was amazing! Anya in Reservations was very patient and answered all our questions. Thank you Keyonna for everything and we look forward to returning!!
