Situated on beautiful Turner's Beach on the Southwestern coast of the Island, is a Couples Only, All-Inclusive Antigua Resort unlike any other. Keyonna Beach Resort Antigua is a quaint boutique hotel offering a beach-front location with sweeping views of the colorful Caribbean Sea. A collection of rustic yet luxurious cottages located just a short walk away from the beach, Keyonna is best suited for couples and honeymooners seeking a romantic and relaxing getaway in a scenic, stress-free environment with excellent food and drinks and in the company of happy, friendly people. All cottages include king-sized four-poster beds, spacious bathrooms with unique his and hers outdoor showers, air conditioning, personalized in-room mini bars and free WIFI. There are no televisions or radios because our aim is to have you focus exclusively on each other and not be distracted by the monotonous humdrum of everyday life. Each cottage also includes a large private veranda with comfy deck chairs from which you can view the spectacular sunsets that paint the horizon each evening. Our on-site beach-front restaurant is a multi-tiered, wooden terrace offering al fresco dining beneath a canopy of seaside grape trees. Gorgeous beach with friendly and efficient staff. Food and bar service very good but rooms in the "Beach House" a bit dark, dingy and perhaps a little too "rustic"? Beach service staff friendly and reasonably efficient (although did have the drinks tray tipped over us on 2 consecutive occasions!).

We have just returned from two weeks at Keyonna beach and it is honestly one of the best holidays I have ever had! A beautiful resort set on the gorgeous Turners beach; A quiet and romantic place if you are looking for ultimate relaxation and to get away from it all. Room We booked one of the beach house rooms for our stay, which is the ‘budget’ friendly option. I was worried that we would be missing out in comparison to the beach front rooms which have their own plunge pool etc but there was honestly nothing to be concerned about. The room was lovely! There was plenty of room, lots of wardrobe space and storage. The bed was super comfy and with added protection of a mosquito net. The noise from the tree frogs and bugs at night seemed quite loud at first but we got used to it very quickly and I actually miss it now we are home The bathroom has a twin sink, separate w.c and a hairdryer was included. The twin outdoor showers were amazing with a beautiful view of the gardens and the sea but they still remained very private. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was also provided. The maid service was excellent with a room clean daily, including fresh linen and towels as required.. and all done with a smile and friendly hello. Our minibar was also stocked daily with our individual preferences of local beer (Carib), coke and Caribbean rum .. which was yummy! Beach Each room has its own numbered Bali bed and two sun loungers so you don’t have to worry about getting a spot on the beach. Although, we lost the shade on our bed in the afternoon so could get a bit too hot, make sure to take plenty of high factor sunscreen, the sun is really intense and we both burned quickly. Kayaks and snorkelling gear are free to use. We took the kayak out on one of the mornings which was good fun. I did snorkel but didn’t see much, there were a lot of tiny fish but not much else. The sea was beautifully clear and we made sure we had a daily swim along the coast. The beach service is excellent! Great choice of cocktails, mock tails and soft drinks. The staff kept us topped up all day, there is no need to go to the bar but you can if you wish. Food Again, amazing! Perfectly cooked meals every time! I am pescatarian and there was plenty of choice. All served in a restaurant style. Breakfast was fantastic… I can recommend the Antiguan black pineapple French toast and the daily specials were awesome! Pastry chef was fantastic too … The best scones and banana bread I have ever tasted! Lunch in the main restaurant was also brilliant with a beautiful view of the sea. Lots of choice and the local fish was delicious. I loved the curried veg wrap and the fish tacos. Dinner was fab! The waiting staff are awesome! Great choice of dishes, we never got bored with the options! The entertainment each night was low key and the bar closes at 10.45. The grill on the beach was also amazing ! Choice of jerk chicken, burgers, hot dogs and bbq corn. I had the steamed fish and it was delicious! Jeavaugn the chef was so friendly and wow can he cook! He said everything he cooked was tasty because he did it with passion and love! Excursions You can choose to do as little or as much as you like! There are shuttles to St John’s (capital) and jolly harbour bookable at reception. Yoga, aqua aerobics and steel drum practice. We went to the Sunday night BBQ at Shirley Heights. It was about 45 mins in the shuttle and cost $30 US each and $10 US entry each for environmental tax. We had an amazing time, beautiful views of the English harbour with the sounds of a local steel drum band and reggae band. We didn’t have the food but it looked fab! There was some stalls selling craft items but none of the sellers were pushy. Staff I left this till last because the staff at Keyonna are absolutely fabulous and made our experience unforgettable. Every single member of staff we met were super friendly and could not do enough for you; we were looked after so well ! I wish I knew everyones’ names but we are so thankful to each and every one for making our holiday so amazing ! Special mentions to Mario, Natanya, Marvin, Deon, Jevaughn, Lynton, Odeal, Gerri-Lee (keeping our wine topped up with a cheeky smile), Raheem, Maria and Brian ! And to Ms. Fearon for keeping us safe on the beach. and many many more ! We were so sad to leave with tears in our eyes. I hope we can come back soon ! We stayed for 12 nights mid March. I had booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday & we arrived at around 8pm on a Saturday evening. We received a warm welcome & a rum punch to get our holiday off to a lovely start! We were allocated room 46 (which I had requested in advance) which is situated right at the end of the rooms. A lovely secluded spot. Room was excellent with lots of storage space. Well stocked mini bar - drinks chosen in advance. The outside shower took some getting used to me but it is completely private. Our housekeeper was lovely (sorry I can’t remember her name) & she did a wonderful job on our last full day of dressing the room up for his birthday. The whole complex & grounds are kept very tidy & clean. You can get bar service on the beach which is fabulous & the staff were always very friendly. Most of the staff are lovely & couldn’t do enough. A couple of the servers though seem like they don’t want to be there. The food at breakfast (with amazing fresh pastries!) & lunch is very good. Very good portions with daily specials but the service was some times lacking. Other couples would arrive, order, eat & leave while we were still waiting for our food. On one morning my boyfriend’s Eggs Benedict breakfast never appeared but we didn’t chase this up as we needed to leave for an excursion. At lunchtime we heard other couples chasing up their food also. Tipping didn’t seem to make any difference to the service received. At one lunchtime my boyfriend ordered a latte & a club sandwich, unfortunately he felt unwell afterwards & he said he felt “drunk “ & had to sleep for a few hours so I’m not sure what happened there. The latte did not smell of alcohol. Again at dinner service could be improved & the food could be of a better quality for the price. Whilst we didn’t want to be rushed, sometimes our bar drinks would arrive after we had eaten our starters. My boyfriend found a small piece of bone is his chicken curry & I ordered the steak which was fatty & chewy. I’m disappointed that at this price point fillet steak isn’t offered (it is for the beach dinner) . The fresh bread served at dinner is delicious & the majority of what we ate at dinner was very nice. Drinks are very good & the cocktails strong. I can’t comment on the wine as we didn’t have any. Other reviews have mentioned the dinner portions being small which we actually didn’t mind as we felt we had eaten well at breakfast & lunch. On our last full evening we had a romantic beach front dinner which was very nice with our own personal server. All in all we had a great time. We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Keyonna for my 30th birthday. The entire staff made it so special - even upgraded us to a room with a private pool! The food was fantastic and we never ate the same thing twice (except for the amazing burgers are the beach grill!) The private beach dinner the night of my birthday was perfect. We will definitely be back and stay for much longer next time. Four nights wasn’t even close to enough.

Everything was amazing from start to finish! If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat holiday then look no further than Keyonna beach resort! On arrival we were given a beach front pool cottage which we wasn’t happy with so I spoke to reception to explain we wasn’t happy and within 2 hours they had moved us to a better room! Absolutely amazing service they done this without hesitation! We was celebrating my partners 30th birthday and in the room they had set up with petals on the bed with a birthday card and bottle of champagne! Lovely touch! Our new room was absolutely beautiful and the view of the ocean was stunning! The rooms were clean and very boutique looking! We absolutely loved the outdoor showers in the rooms too! Our room was equipped with an hairdryer, iron and mini bar was stocked up! The food at the hotel was outstanding and we throughly enjoyed every meal! The staff were all absolutely amazing with us and couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention to the reception staff and Brad and Keyon who made sure we never went without a drink or food whilst chilling in our beach front pool cottage! My wife and I went to this beautiful Resort for our 43rd Wedding Anniversary and it was an amazing celebration. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. The sea was incredible. Check-in was amazing and the cottage was beautiful. The food was delicious and the liquor was top shelf. There were some incredible staff members that made our celebration that much better on the day of our Anniversary. Tina (Front Desk), is an amazing soul and who set up our room with flowers on the bed and Champagne. Francine (Waitstaff), with her help we had such delicious Appetizers that were prepared especially for us. Our hats off to the Chef. Thank you for making our special day that much better. A shout out to Elizabeth (Housekeeping), who was so much fun to talk with, and another beautiful soul. I wanted to give this a 5-star rating, but unfortunately, there was some waitstaff and bar personnel that didn't seem to like their jobs. They never smiled, made us feel at times that we were inconveniencing them and we wondered why they work there. There were a few times we had to wait almost an hour to get our food. A relaxing break in a beautiful hotel. All of the staff are great and can't do enough for you. Location is directly on a beautiful beach and offers a low key vibe for couples. Cannot recommend highly enough for anyone wanting to unwind and relax completely. Will definitely return!
