In a five-week driving tour of Europe, this hotel was among our very favorites. The location in the beautiful peaceful area near Albi is perfect. (There is a quite busy road bordering on one side of the property but it didn't spoil our enjoyment.) The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room overlooking the river was beautifully furnished and had...

How often do you book a hotel from the beautiful pictures on the website only to find the reality falls short. In this case it was the opposite!! The place is beautiful from the rooms to the lounge to the terrace to the gardens and swimming pool and restaurant. The breakfasts were wonderful as were our two dinners in the...

As others have mentioned grounds and ambiance are lovely as are the owner and hostess. Rooms in the mill are spacious and authentic with all modern amenities. Enjoyed a rainy afternoon in the welcoming lounge with its fireplace, terrace views and a bottle of wine. Dinner in the nearby restaurant was very good with its views of the countryside and...

Set in its own extensive gardens, this hotel and restaurant were a unique find. The accommodation: An old Mill-house. Character lounge with terrace overlooking a large mill pond. Not a large establishment - with no actual reception, but the ambience was warm and welcoming and the service was amazing. The bedrooms was not overly grand but clean and well appointed...

What a lovely place, the gardens are very large and border the Aveyron river, the rooms are lovely (we were asked which one we wanted to stay in as it was not fully booked), the continental breakfast is varied (you chose) and excellent and we had a wonderful stay. The terrace overlooks the mill pond and is partly shaded by...

Really nice, big rooms with great facilities. The grounds are great and relaxing. If you like birds you will love this place. Has a nice pool too. The restaurant is very nice, although a bit pricey. There is a spar in town across the bridge if you want to grab a bottle of wine at normal prices. Staff are great...

Beautiful hotel/restaurant on banks of l'aveyron. We stayed 3 nights and dined in restaurant twice. We sat on terrace area (inside but open to air) overlooking the river. The food was fantastic, and at a really reasonable price. the portions were very generous too. Wine list was very good, extensive, but not cheap. The total bill will not disappoint thought...

The owner of the beautiful restaurant, on the same estate, now owns the hostellerie. We stayed here for 4 nights so we had a very good opportunity to assess this hotel and restaurant. We were most impressed with the restaurant, hotel, refurbished swimming pool and vast estate grounds. The owner and his staff go out of their way to make...

only 5-6 rooms but clean comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful salon for relaxing with terrace overlooking well laid out gardens. Outstanding separate restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the Tarn river.a short stroll through the garden past the aviaries. Both hotel and restaurant very good value for money.
