Dated decor and furnishings, no WiFi beyond the public spaces which for a business user is no longer good enough. Lack of sound proofing from room above. I know it’s an historic building but it could be so much better.

Hotel was satisfactory for a single nights stay at the price we paid. Reception were helpful and the rooms clean if tired. Location is good for access from the station and to investigate the town and surrounding area.

When we arrived at the hotel the reception was deserted. We rang the bell and had to wait for a considerable time before we were attended to. In the meantime other staff entered and left the reception area completely ignoring us. Not a good start....More

We stayed one night in the hotel and along with a common theme in past reviews the hotel needs refurbishment. The carpets are worn, the toilet flush requires a wrist breaking 270 degree turn, the wallpaper has wrinkles and the light fitting in our room...More
