Ali's pension is a old Turkish building but the the pension is very clean. Ali's sits on the edge of a very large lake were you can safely swim, in season they sell fresh water fish and large crayfish in the lakeside restaurants, while we were there it was closed season for fishing. This is a very friendly place to...

Located at the tip of the peninsula, Ali's Pension is a very quiet cosy hotel. We visited in October and there were hardly any other tourists, which made it even more special. The room was clean, the bed good. We enjoyed the breakfast and the very friendly English speaking owner. The bathroom was tiny though. Overall a good pick if...

We two couples stayed three nights and enjoyed our visit immensely. Birsan was very friendly and accommodating and there to please. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and meals varied and delicious. It was the perfect spot for day trips to Sagalassos and the Burdur mountains. We really enjoyed our two day stay. Birsan, our good-humoured host, knows a great deal about the area and gave us lots of useful tips and suggestions for getting around and seeing the sites. Egirir is a very convenient base for visiting Yalvac (Antioch) and the magical but remote site at Sagalassos. The cool breeze from the huge lake was...

Location is really good and quite so the sleep quality was very good. The house is renovated, so the furniture was also new. Really very clean room & entire house. Good breakfast. During our stay I met 3 different staff members and neither of them understood any foreign language. The old lady seemed nice and was trying to be helpful,...

Birsen and her family are lovely and warm hosts (English and German speaking, maybe more?!). Basic rooms and very small toilet and bathroom. Well equipped though, with fly screens which are necessary in the area. Communal balcony with view if the lake. Good breakfasts and we ate dinner at pension both nights we stayed there (kofte and chicken) - very...

We only stayed one night on arrival we were made very welcome and owner was so helpful. Room was spotlessly clean but very basic. Short walk to town centre, lake looked lovely even in a rain shower. Traditional Turkish breakfast which was lovely. A really lovely stay. Highly recommend it.

This pension is a historic building with loads of character! It is run by a friendly family who looked after us. It is in a perfect location between the 'island'/ peninsula and main town of Egirdir and with a beach at the bottom of the stairs and the smoother side of the lake a short walk from the front door,...

My 2 friends and I spent 5 nights in Ali's in July 2014. It is a gorgeous pension, a short walk across the peninsula from the centre of Egirdir. Across the road from the pension, Egirdir lake is waiting for you. In the pension, there are the most FANTASTIC hosts to guide you and advise you. Birsen is fantastic and...

Ali’s was a perfect place to spend three nights away from the sweltering heat of the coast. It is a small family run pension. Our hosts, Musa, Birsen & family were delightful and there hospitality came naturally and they were always happy to help. Musa had good English and did well with our Scottish accents she is full of local...
