We stayed in a two-year-old condo. The condo has everything one would want, and more! The owner of the condo provides a gas grill and many beach items that will save a visitor money. My wife and I felt very safe during our stay at Gold Coast. The location is excellent. I would recommend renting a car. The beaches are near Gold Coast, but a car is advisable. The downside to Gold Coast Condo is the gym. No one takes responsibility to replace or repair equipment. The TV does not work, and no one seems to care if it is fixed. The gym has a high ceiling which would be perfect for a couple of ceiling fans. Lastly, the gym temperature is comfortable if you do not work out. Unfortunately, no one is interested in keeping the gym comfortable while you are working out.
I really lucked out staying at the Gold Coast. They are building new condos, and luckily I was the first to stay in one of the brand new condos! Absolutely beautiful. From the time I arrived, the host greeted me, told me about the villa, amenities, etc. She provided complementary gifts of snacks, drinks & a reusable bag, which is actually very convenient since Aruba has a promise of keeping their island clean by eliminating plastic. Everything was super clean, as you can imagine being brand new. I have absolutely no complaints and will be requesting this villa next time I'm back!
The property we stayed at was good and comfortable for what we were looking for. I don’t recommend spending your $ and eating at the restaurant on the property as the actual meal is not good, we were served stale food, the lady that was running the bar or took our orders basically kicked us out of the pool area that surrounds the main pool due to an event at the pool that residents had no advance notice about and no single sign mentioning they had a private event. It seems they rent out the main pool a lot which is a bummer for residents since that’s one main attraction for most travelers to book their properties as the beach is not nearby and you will need a car to drive to the nearest beach. Property management may want to consider hiring better staff at their restaurant or train the current staff to communicate in a polite/professional manner with their residents. …
We had the best time here. Everything was perfect and everyone enjoyed it. We were a group of 7 people: twins of 4 year old, 3 x mid-30s and 2 x 60+. We enjoyed the feeling home-atmosphere, the swimming pools and the quietness of the resort.
Loved our stay. Place had everything we needed. Comfoofor four people. Grille on patio. Beautiful amenities really close. Golf course around the corner. Wonderful restaurant on the premises. Beach about a 15 minute drive.
A beautiful place to stay with all the amenities. Good restaurant on the premises and only 5-10 minute drive to everything. Great beaches 2 minutes away. Weather was 82° every day and since the island is a desert there is no humidity and you never sweat.
We stayed in a townhouse (#81) which is fine if you do not need hot water to take a shower or so. There's no water-heater in this house, so showers are cold. Which is quite a shame when you've been on the beach all day and want to wash your hair e.g. Better said: it’s bad. Really bad. We’ve paid good money to stay here, and one should at least be able to take a bath. We made a complaint, but the concierge said it was normal for Aruba: because of the climate a lot of houses do not have warm water. But after asking around we found out it isn’t normal at all. It was just poor service from a lazy house tenant. We went to our travel agent and asked for some kind of compensation. He contacted the manager who said he could see us the next day at 2 pm – in the middle of the day. We waited around, hoping to get at least an excuse or some kind of gesture (a coupon for a drink or some dinner would have been great), but instead of that he was just rude and totally ignored our complaints. The manager was arrogant and had no sense of hospitality whatsoever. It made us wonder why we’ve stayed and waited for him to see us. Furthermore: as we are guests, shouldn’t he have come to us? Shouldn’t his goal be customer satisfaction? The rest of the week we had cold water. Which is fine if you go hiking and camping, but not if you rent a luxury house. So, before you book – or accept the keys – check if everything is alright. Because these people will do absolutly nothing to help you out when things are not okay. We will definitely never return. On the premises: it’s a quiet gated community, a bit suburban. You will need a car or you’ll get nowhere. Pools are fine. Beach within 5 minutes drive. Houses are clean.…
Victor rented us a 2 bedroom condo. It had 2,5 bathrooms the second bedroom was advertised that is slept 2 people on a twin and full it was the smallest space ever. First night I woke up the air conditioner was dipping like a waterfall on my head took them 2 days to fix. that was rediculous for the price we paid. I never had hot water in my shower. it was so awful nothing covering the window in the shower so one of our friends could not use this shower as she was so tall people could see her. the tvs and dvd players never worked the whole week. we got there and we didn't even have toilet paper to use. Not a big deal we bought our own but he should let people staying no that. The resort itself was gorgeous and safe we walked everynight in the dark. The resort pool was amazing.
A big gated community with Villas, Condos, townhouses for rent. A great vacation rental place with lots to do. Tierra Del Sol golf Course is across the street. White Modern Cuisine is in this complex. Three beautiful pools.
You can rent an apartment in this closed condo with private swimpools and bbq areas, inside the condo you also have gym and tenis courts. There is a restaurant inside the condominium that opens every night for dinner or drinks. This condo is located one of the ends os Aruba island, near to the California Light House and several beaches, malls, markets and hotels.
