As a group of friends scattered all over the country this location was great. We booked 4 double rooms. Two more people turned up at the last minute which they accommodated. Nice comfortable rooms with big beds. Possibly a little dated with the florals but actually in keeping with the building. Lovely breakfast. We would have liked to have eaten...

What a lovely, old property to use as your base for the Wye Valley. Friendly proprietor, great breakfast, super location, 'warm and cuddly' to all guests, with nothing to dislike whatsoever. 😊 Sure, the car park is small, situated down behind the guesthouse bordering the river bank, and it has a very tricky exit out onto the main road, but...

Stayed for 2 nights, good central location, close to pretty walks. The accommodation itself was like stepping back in time and reminded me of guesthouses I stayed in with my parents during the 60s!! The rooms lacked lustre, very basic and really poor towels ( certainly on their last legs) in the bathroom! ! Breakfast was limited so 2 mornings...

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the parva farmhouse. It's a lovely place in a beautiful location. The room was big and comfortable with a great view of the river. The farmhouse has a lovely homely lounge downstairs to relax in with an honesty bar which was a nice touch. Peter one of the owners that we met...

A lovely guesthouse situated on the river Wye. From our room we could watch the ducks and swans on the river and the cows in the field on the opposite riverbank field. The room was very comfortable, well furnished and quiet and our hosts were friendly and professional. The only downside was .........the toilet brush. It was extremely dirty and...

Old fashioned guest house, like you went to as a child, frilly pillowshams and knick knacks. Lovely owners who are very accommodating, there are a selection of cereals and juice as well as full English with vegetarian option. The window for weekend breakfast is quite short 8.30-9.15, weekdays is a little longer. Plenty of parking but the road out is...

We dont normally stay in guest houses as we usually use hotels, but we stayed here to attend a wedding at Tintern Abbey. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and yet invisible when you wanted to relax. The farmhouse is in a delightful setting on the Wye and within easy walking distance of the Abbey. The rooms are cosy...

We stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke Path, it's located fairly close to the path, next to the river. We arrived soaking wet so it was good to find an outdoor boot rack and a covered porch in which to remove waterproof layers! Our room was large and comfortable with a lovely view of the river. Our hosts (including the...
