Best carrot cake ever, generous slices and great staff. Prices were fair I just feel that the tables were set out a little like a school dining hall - more sodas and comfy chairs would be appreciated.

Lovely setting in the country with gorgeous views. Cosy in Winter and lovely in summer. Lovely homemade food and friendly service. Well worth the scenic drive out if town. Nice little gift shop too. We went for lunch but they serve from brunch onwards.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Montrose because we are usually very happy with our lunches here. Today was a bit different though hence only a three. Only one choice of soup, which was tasty as usual, but the small bowl was barely half full. My scone was also very nice but on the small side. No other issues, the staff were excellent as always.

Have visited Kescoweth on several occasions. It is a bit out of the way but a great find in the countryside with stunning views on a clear day. I have never been disappointed when visiting here. Soup is lovely and so is home baking. Well worth a visit..

We had 4 nights at Kescoweth. It is very remote and quiet which has its pros and cons. We were the only guests staying which we found a shame. Our room was not serviced at all during our stay. We had to wash our own tea cups and glasses and the bathroom/ towels were not freshener. The room itself is large and comfortable as is the bathroom , the views from our room were gorgeous Breakfast was nice though there was no salmon on 3 of the 4 mornings and only orange juice was served. No yogurt and the fresh fruit platter consisted of sliced apple, orange and plum which was far from appealing. The owners are very friendly and Gail was willing to do a small load of washing for us at £12.50 A one night stay o r maybe 2 would have been nice but 4 was too many considering the lack of room service etc.
