Sustainable resort with amazing surrounds, hospitality, facilities and food. Have visited in a large party (school) and in a small group. Many activities to choose to do or just chill, relax and rewind.

I came to La Ferme du Colvert with my girlfriend 6 month ago. I chose this resort because it is near Hanoi, just 1.5 hours drive from my home. I was surprise by the beauty , green, and peaceful atmosphere of this place. The owner manage this place really well, and the staffs were all working with passion, and extremely friendly. The food is mix of Vietnamese and French, and was amazing.

This New Year eve, I decided to come back, and never regret of my decision

Highly recommended!

We have stayed at La Ferme du Colvert in 3 days.

Very comfortable rooms in bungalows, large beds, nice bathroom.

Great restaurant: high quality combined with goo quantity.

Nice swimming pool but cold.

Wonderful surroundings, inside and outside for walk or bicycle ride!

The superior room I had was the worst room ever, with absolutely NO basic facilities.
NO BELL MAN to carry our luggage (we had to carry them for a long walk in a freaking hot day at noon!), NO MINI-FRIDGE, NO SLIPPERS (unbelievable!), NO TELEPHONE (how the duck could we call out for service or emergency situation??), NO HAIR DRYER (I have long hair, how could I dry my hair to go to sleep? Are they trying to kill their guests??) NO WIFI (wifi could only reach around the reception place). Also, this resort was not clean with dirt and weed everywhere (yeah, they want to invite SNAKES. Beware when you go out of your room at night). Stupid and dirty chicken and ducks everywhere, yeah, that's why they call this place La Ferme du Colvert
I was totally disappointed with this resort. All we could do was get the hell out of that place (after we paid full amount and got 50% back) and find another place to stay and spend our national holiday. It was super exhausting.
Well, trust me fellas, you don't want to go to this horrible place.

Must have stayed at a different location to some of your other reviewers. My wife and I were there for 3 days, 9-11 March. Our room rustique but quaint enough was damp and cold and the bed positively wet. The grounds could and probably will be pleasant in summer but in march unkempt and in need of care. The activities on offer were only suitable for children (knitting and embroidery) and cycling would definitely have been too dangerous, mud covered roads and deep potholes full of water. The dogs mentioned in another review barked incessantly Staff though pleasant when found were conspicuous by their absence. One point I would agree upon with some of the other reviewers was the excellent quality of the food

We had 3 nights here at the end of our month in Vietnam and wanted to be away from the city which it certainly is. It’s a beautiful place with little houses providing the accommodation around the grounds we had one alongside the lake which was lovely. The rooms are very old world not luxury but nice (our only complaint was the mattress is rock hard) Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and dinner you order before 5pm. Food was good. The staff are fantastic all local people who are so friendly and everyone talks to you. We used the spa and enjoyed the hot stones massage $20 and the resort also gave us a free sauna and an hours tuktuk ride round the local area. The grounds and rice fields around are beautiful, we walked round the area everyone smiled said hello and we even got invited into a local wedding. Don’t expect a modern boxy hotel, but this is a fab place with loads of little buildings to sit in around the grounds and loads of animals. Lovely place would recommend a stay

The room is small and smelly. The pillow has no cover and looks dirty. The bed is smelly and need more regular changes. The toothbrush is so cheap like a metal brush that I cannot even use it. The whole “resort” needs big renovation because things are worn out and dirty and really smelly because they raise chicken by the entrance of the resort. Terrible.

Last weekend my family came to La ferme du colvert in Luong Son. Super over Joy!
It is one of resort I like most (near Hanoi 45 km only)
Hospitality, Good Accomodation, Food Falvour is exceptional, different way of cooking and decorating. How can I say, it is completely different with other resort near Hanoi
Price is reasonale vs service.
