It's not often I review lower than the majority of others' however, I have to say I have been disappointed with my experience at Lake Point. There is no denying the location is beautiful, as is the well laid out chalets amongst coconut trees and other lush vegetation. The room I had lovely and spacious. However, I think my disappointment...

Spent a weekend here, and absolutely loved it! Tranquil and picturesque, the guest house is set amidst a mesh of coconut and other tropical trees providing shade and respite. Loaded with charm, the cottages are cute and cozy. Our triple bed cottage and the en suite bathroom were very clean. Simple decor, but not tacky. The dining room was a...

Very friendly and helpful people at our service. We had issues with the water in our bathroom and they agreed to change our room and were very nice about it. Breakfast and dinner were homemade and very good. There was some variety to choose from. The location presents a very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. In total it was a good...

We arrived a group of 14 to the guesthouse and we were welcomed by Ben and Kobi that were in charge of the place. The rooms were big and clean, the location of the guesthouse is great, just on the beach of the lake and there is a private beach just for the guesthouse. The guesthouse's restaurant was very good...

After a 9 hour journey our chalet/hut at Lake Point Guesthouse was truly welcomed. We were pleasantly surprised by the size, decor and furnishings. My travel companion was very happy with the meals in the restaurant but alas there was little imagination for creating vegan alternatives (fries seemed to be the instant offer for vegans) The staff were friendly but...

We spent just a night on a one day business trip on July 1, 2015. The surrounding is great. Food is prepared fast. Quiet environment. Very friendly staff. We have planned to visit again for longer stay. I encourage to add breakfast as package in their rates.

Stayed here for a couple nights whilst exploring the lake. It's such a lovely base. The staff are very friendly and helped us out loads. The food is amazing! The staff helped us hire Bikes to cycle around the lake. The room was really good, infact one of the best we stayed in. Quite basic but clean and tidy. I...

I spent a night in this beautiful place in Feb 2015. The place is very nice, the arrangement of the bungalows as well as the tropical garden and the restaurant is outstanding. The long track road to reach it is worthy. The price for self-contained african style well decorated bungalow with running water and electricity also in case of light...

I stayed for 3 nights in June in one of the huts. It was very well money's worth. If you are on a very tight budget you could consider the dormitory. The hut was clean and very smartly decorated. However I didn't get a mosquito net and the room had mice which kept me up all night (I will take...

I spent an overnight here in June 2014. I slept in the dorm, which was comfortable at 20GHC per night (bring towels and a sheet). The outdoor showers were nice. The guesthouse itself is beautiful, with lots of colour in the buildings and the gardens. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. You will probably need to order something special...
