Everything was fine but the ladders in chalet 3 & 4was a bit of a scary experience. They are rickety and is not for adults but more for children. In the six sleeper, chalet #3, the fan was very noisy and sounded like a generator running the whole night. Otherwise, really no complaints. Sorry for the late response. I was...

Lovely peaceful stay with an awesome view of the river and citrus farm. Cabin was large and comfortable but the floor squeaks quite badly. Friendly, helpful hosts and dogs. We would suggest putting a metal plate under the braai to stop coals falling onto the deck.

Nice location, peaceful, tranquil. Very neatly kept gardens. Swimming pool is well maintained. Rooms somewhat over priced for the quality on offer. Not really worth a second visit as the amenities are not that great.

The restaurant is really amazing. All the staff is really nice, the chef was really friendly and prepared a really good meal for dinner and breakfast. Although, swimming pool was not well maintained. Cabin rooms was lovely decorated even if rustic.

Location near the River wonderful, but be prepared for a few mozzies in summer. Staff friendly and helpful and rooms clean and neat. Birdlife abundant. Accommodation is very good value. Proximity to Addo Elephant park and numerous Addo restaurants and attractions a bonus.

Avoca is a gem and we should have stayed here for all our days in the Addo elephant park. It only takes 20 mins to the main park entrance by car. The setting is in a lush citrus plantation with wonderful lawns and flowerbeds surrounding the cabins. We had a wonderful 'valentines day' evening meal and spent a whole morning...

This is our second time at Avoca River Cabins and we love it. The gardens are so clean and peaceful. Staff friendly. Hubby loves to fish and relax on the jetty, while I relax and read on the deck. Coming soon.

Very professional and good attention to detail. Helpful and friendly staff. Gardens and location beautiful. Shared self-catering. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. The shower-room was clean but the shower would need attention soon.

Beside the rainy weather what a great stay we had at Avoca River. Dave and Judy did everything to make our stay perfect. There service was great and nothing was to much to ask for. Even made us breakfast boxes because we had to leave early to the airport. We stayed at the castle... a little old but everything was...
