This is halfway between and hostel and a hotel. Lovely entryway, on the edge of town. It is a collection of buildings and rooms around an open-air courtyard. Lots of bright colors, unusual but fun decor. We shared baths on the hall, but given the off-season, it was just with our group. The breakfast is huge and varied. Due to... More

We stayed in a room with our own bathroom. Although I am a tall woman and the room wasn't enormous, it was compensated by all the good points in this place. First, I found the bed very comfortable and the shower powerful. The place has a lovely ambiance to it - something which Eduardo and Agnes have created and it's... More

Stayed at this guesthouse while walking the Rota Vicentina. Compared to other locations we stayed at along the route, this was a bit overpriced for the level of accommodations. Although the buffet style breakfast is good and has a large selection of fruits, muesli, breads, cheeses/meats, it is not included and comes at an additional cost to the room. The... More

This B&B is simple but very nice and charming with a cute garden on the front and a great breakfast in the morning. We had a suit with 2 bed rooms and that was perfect with our son. There is a good restaurant nearby that serves fantastic grilled fish and you can also easily reach the beach and the river,... More

Agnes and Eduardo have created something very very special. One could not imagine kinder, more knowledgeable or helpful hoteliers who really succeed in making each guest feel like family. Truly an outstanding experience and highlight of my trip to Portugal.

What a nice residence! Very quaint community and lovely rooms. The communal spaces and courtyard are beautiful. Our shared bathroom was clean and spacious. The owners are very knowledgeable and kind. The best part: the breakfast. Likely the most delicious and nutritious breakfast, buffet style, that I've ever had. Certainly the best during my month in Portugal. Very refreshing to... More

Rooms are claustrophobic, hung clothes on wall hangers, put them on in the morning to find them crawling with ants... Absolutely no soundproofing, can hear everything through the walls. Good breakfast, however it is not served until 9.00am after the bread has been delivered.

We had a long way to portugal and at the evening we noticed this hostel and we decided to check it, they accepted us very nice and they set us with a comfortable room, the bathroom and the entire room were really clean. At the morning we went to eat breakfast, a great delicious and healthy food! Great people, great... More

This was a lovely stop off and had so much more to offer than was first apparent. The manager was very accommodating and hospitable. Rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend taking up the offer of breakfast as it was and occasion in itself. The nearby beaches are both wonderful. Best food in town can be found... More
